Awful online purchase experience. Ordered a $700 medicine cabinet - which did not arrive. Local store says they have nothing to do with Rona Online. FedEx said package appeared lost, but I'd have to deal with Rona. Rona first said they would initiate a trace on it (turned out they just put me in a queue to have a trace initiated), and has steadfastly refused to refund my $700 until their 'tracing process' is completed. It is now 2 months later -- and they are still refusing to give me a refund while they supposedly trace my package. I have ordered and received the item from another retailer - and just want my money refunded, but they continue to refuse 'until they have completed their process' Unbelievable.

I ordered three drain trays for pots and only two arrived. I've spent over 2 hours on the phone with Rona trying to locate the third one, which may be backordered or out of stock . . . no one knows. However, no refund has been issued for the item never received.

I will never come back to Rona midland. The seasonal sales person is very arrogant,rude and unprofessional. If I’m not mistaken his name David dee.

Bought a very expensive lawnmower at the Elora, Ontario location and after using , for only about 20 minutes discovered it was the older single blade model and could not take a dual blade. Although friendly, had the staff been more knowledgeable I would have realized the one I was buying on display was not what I really wanted. However, I contacted the owner but he was not interested in helping me by exchanging it for the model i wanted, he just directed me to the manufacturer which was a waste of time. No will not buy anything further from this store.

Ordered online from Rona 2 months ago. Shipped through Day and Ross. Still haven’t received the package. Nobody from Rona can assist and D&R cannot locate the package. Do not ever ever buy online from Rona as they will take your money and never refund it. They will blame the shipping company and ask you to contact them even though you are buying from Rona. Basically they will just wash their hands off.

Placed order on line. Got the email..can't track the order without an account Opened an on line account just to track my order No record of the oder on line..payment had been processed Tried customer service number..no direction on how to talk to a person Figured it out...'experiencing longer than normal delays' Called the pick up store..initially no record of the order...patient staff tracked it down..said it was ready Drove 30 minutes to pick.it up. Delayed due to computer system..not sure the 2 staff involved were able to key in thst the order had been.pucked up. Two stars because the staff were patient and helpful. Zero.stars for ypur on line order process

What went wrong is still going wrong,their warehouse or keeping of inventory is a mess, waiting for dishwasher delivery cancelled last minute 3 times, fridge we received handle of bottom drawer broken..just absolute chaos with them..one redeeming factor has been the sales personnel who have taken care of us, they have been exceptional and are beyond frustrated as well. Incredibly poor management of their inventory

Horrible experience! Avoid Rona installation services at all costs. Purchased a vanity and it took over 40 phone calls to get Rona to deliver the item, schedule a pre-installation measurements and we are still awaiting the installation. Extremely poor integration and communication processes between the company and its installation contractors. This leaves the customer to coordinate very time-consuming tasks including chasing the contractors to schedule the installation.

Do not buy online from Rona. If you have to return something, it is a nightmare, with wrong or no information on the website and no way of printing a label that Purolator will accept. Instead of making a third and probably fruitless trip to Purolator, I returned the item at my own expense by Canada Post. The lesson learned – I can get everything I need for my new apartment from Canadian Tire or Home Depot.

WARNING do not purchase anything from rona online. I bought a chop saw stand for 380$ They took my money immediately. Told me the item would arrive with the week. Tracking number never updated. Over a month passed. Still no item. Finally it came and I sent it away. Because i had already purchased the same exact item at princess auto for less than half the price. I have now been waiting over 30 days for my money to be returned. After my 3rd hour long conversation with rona online. They finally were able to tell me that I will need to wait another 7 business days. Will be almost 50 days since I made the mistake of shopping at their store. I will never purchase anything from them again and will always warn my customer's away from them. They are only in it to make interest off your money while you wait for an item that will likely never arrive. All rona online purchases are a scam

I'm not familiar with all of the Rona locations. I had the worst customer service experience of my life at The Rona North London Ontario. There is no way I will return, and I would not advise anyone else to go there.

I had the worst customer service experience of my entire life. I called twice and each time both the representatives had no idea how their website functions. Instead blamed me for not knowing what I’m doing. The second person named John was sounding so condescending when I told her that I have a 32 sq ft island and he was like are you sure about that and the way he was speaking was extremely rude and putting off. He asked me do I even know what a waterfall is. Very disturbing!!! I have been buying and selling houses for years and these people are going to sit their and teach me. I don’t mind learning but watch your tone. He hung up on when I asked him for a ID to make a complaint. It is ridiculous. No one should have been made to feel you are not valued as a customer. Even if I don’t have the money to do business with you. I can only imagine what they do to those people.

Your most of the time more expensive then elsewhere. I only go to your store for little thing if I am in a rush. Canac and Patrick Morin beat your price even when your in special.

I received this garbage can and it was obviously a return because it had been resealed with Rona tape, when I opened it the lid was missing, I sent an email to Rona telling them about the missing lid and never had a response, so in a nutshell the can is great but will NEVER but from Rona.ca again.

Received box of 15 tiles and 6 were broken Rona was to pick up the box but now want me to return them To heavy for me Handicapped

Waited 4 weeks for shoes to arrive to Australia. The most uncomfortable steel cap shoes I've ever worn. Complete waste of money, I've had to go and buy other shoes because these hurt your toes.

I don't know about all Rona stores, but The Plateau store in Gatineau , QC is extremely incompetent!!! Very ignorant about their products and extremely disorganized.

i ordered 5 greenhouse trays with peatmoss pellets and today my order arrived and i recieved a 50foot drain auger???? i called customer service and the lady told me that i had to return item, wait for refund then reorder (hoping i get what i ordered). i was not happy and wanted the store that sent me the wrong item phone number, the agent hung up on me!! (i dont think it was on purpose, but im unsure). i called back and got another agent, she told me i had to speak with 1st agent i spoke to but shes on a call now. I asked her why she would be on another call and not call me back when we got disconnected, she said she was unsure but she should have, she then said she would have her call me when she was free. i said ok but can i also speak with a manager? she replied yes but we are all working from home and none available right now so i will have one call you. I havent recieved a call from anyone from rona customer service yet, i am so frustrated

This is second time I have tried to order clearance items on line. It shows items in stock, confirmation of order recieved by email then o follow up eamail arrives saying Rona cancelled the order and in 5 to 7 dats my card will be refunded. Is this a strategy where you put great prices to lure shoppers in then cancel hoping they added other items to their cart? No more on line shopping at Rona for me
