The furniture is 5* and I really love it, but the delivery is another matter. I am a disabled woman with no strength in my arms, legs or hands. The delivery was arranged for the afternoon time slot which was fine and the actual delivery was made within the time bracket, the problem was the driver just dropped all the furniture in their boxes at my front door and would not even lift it over my door frame into my porch for me. He did say he would be happy to return it to Roseland Furniture if I didn’t want it. I tried reasoning with him but he was not having any of it. When I booked the delivery I never seen it anywhere that it was a drop to front door delivery. I think people should know this as they may be like myself unable to move it themselves. I actually had to get my 70 year old neighbour to lift it in for me. I would ask Roseland Furniture to put this in bold on the delivery instructions and then also on the email/text message you send re the delivery. I would have never ordered from this company if I had known this prior to the Order Acknowledgement stage of ordering. I did not read the small print but who does. Just thought I would bring this to everyone’s attention. Like I said I love the furniture.

A mixed review. Our oak shoe bench was delivered quickly and at expected date/time slot. The wooden part of the bench seems well made - lovely real oak finish and other wood used in unseen areas to support structure. However, the three baskets made of water hyacinth are not uniform. Colour variation is natural and acceptable. Two have a very similar, tight weave. But the third has a much wider weave and is less stable when loaded with shoes. Roseland couldn't replace a single basket and we're unwilling to exchange the whole bench, clearly deciding that the tolerance in basket differences was acceptable, despite the website showing a perfectly uniform set of baskets. Disappointing. They did offer to return for a refund, but we're keeping it as the oak is lovely and it's a perfect size for our hall. I probably wouldn't order from them again though, as I wouldn't trust their product photographs and descriptions.

The Lanner desk we ordered looks nice and well made but the wood of the strut supporting the drawer was split. I messaged Roseland via the website to complain about this but received no reply. We managed to repair the damage with strong glue because as it's not visible I couldn't be bothered to return the item. I asked Roseland to give me a partial refund (ie a discount on the original price) due to the damage but, like I said my message was either ignored or never received, despite the fact that it was sent via their website.

Furniture is very well made and reasonably priced BUT the delivery is less than perfect. The first I knew that it was being delivered was the morning of the delivery. So I changed my plans and stayed in between the allotted time slot. And, of course, it didn't arrive. No communication from delivery company. They didn't tell me when they were going to redeliver it or why it hadn't been delivered when they said. It arrived randomly the next evening. Thankfully someone was in to take collection but the system is very poor. Shame because it lets down the product. I would have given five stars otherwise.

Easy to place orders online, however a long gap between order confirmation and delivery, then got 1 (one) hour's notice of delivery on a working day. This may be down to the courier company, but could have been extremely inconvenient. As it happens, I am self-employed and was able to rearrange work that day but other people would probably have already been on their way to work.

The small bedside cabinet was fine but the telephone stand which needed assembly showed it was not well made. The holes for the screws were very untidy and rough and only just in the right place. We did put it together and kept it as the holes are not visible from the top

Not the best quality Oak furniture I have purchased. The draws fit poorly, out of align, and the whole thing feels a bit cheap.

I ordered a set of oak drawers . On arrival I Opened them to find that they were damaged . I e mailed the company who said to send photos . I did this , they then arranged for them to be collected for return. They were collected yesterday and Rosalind have refunded me today .so I consider that to be good service .shame that they were damaged

Bought farrow dressing table and stool not brilliant quality, but then again it wasn't that expensive. Good service, our address is difficult to find, but delivery chap had no problem.

On the whole fair piece of furniture ... Not quite as solid and heavy as oak? For £200 .. good buy though.

Good choice, easy to use website. Everything good apart from delivery. The delivery man would only leave in the porch and not bring my items in the house. My elderly wife had to carry in the items herself, not good customer services

Still waiting for delivery of two pieces of furniture that I ordered two weeks ago. Considering both items were shown as available at time of placing my order I ought to have received them by now. If its large items then Roseland hand over responsibility of your furniture to a two man delivery firm. Unfortunately the delivery firm are not good with customer communication, no tracking information provided, and no response to my delivery queries. Aside from the abysmal delivery service the furniture is actually beautifully finished oak at surprisingly good prices

Just purchased 3 pieces of furniture from Roseland and all the pieces were fine, however 2 arrived at the same time, and no sign of the other piece and no communication to say what had happened to it. Phoned Roseland on the only number provided at least 7 times and on each occasion no answer. To find out what had happened to the missing piece I eventually phoned the delivery service Tuffnell's in Gateshead who were most helpful and informed me the missing piece had been sent to another depot but everything was now back on track and the piece was eventually delivered. So a big thank you to Tuffnells, I think Roseland you need to improve your Customer Service all though the furniture was fine.

If you are not in a hurry then you will be fine. I’m in Scotland and took 12 days from when ordered. Had to call the delivery people direct to get any information. The unit itself was fine. But the box was soaked wet. The men took it into the house which some won’t do. Great for the price. And no building up is worth the wait.

One of the 2 bits of furniture I ordered arrived damaged. I contacted Roseland and asked for a refund that was promptly provided, so very good customer service.
