Extremely disappointed in the service received from this company. I ordered a side table and small sideboard at the same time. The side table came first which was OK but a little small and arranged an exchange which went through OK, however when I received the exchange item (this came before the sideboard) it was damaged. We were offered £50 or an exchange but the delivery service we received was so shocking we decided to take the money. They said they would be in contact for collection of the side table and that did not happen for 2 weeks. Our sideboard was due to be delivered 5 days before it came with tracking not working and the only response I got was "let me know if it comes today" not acceptable. I would strongly suggest looking somewhere else for your furniture.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that delivery did not meet your expectations.We have checked tracking on the side table which is showing as delivered on the 26th. We can also see that my colleague asked for confirmation and we have not had this from you just yet. Unfortunately we cannot always see the tracking if the carrier systems are not working. I have bought From Roseland before and not had any issues. I ordered a new bed on 10th July, it was in stock and I was notified on 12th July it had been despatched. I was advised that delivery would be 7 - 10 days. However, I have still not received my order and have been advised it will not now be deliver until 30th July, so very disappointed, and I now have no bed as my old bed was disposed of.

Hello Gaynor Robey, We are sorry that your delivery has not met your expectations so far, we have had some extenuating issue which has had an effect on our 2 man delivery service. I have looked back at the history of your order and cannot see that you have made any contact with us about any problems with the delivery companies. I can see that you received one delivery on 22.6.21 and that you are due another delivery of another item today. We had to get our first ordered coffee table replaced as it was so badly damaged in transit. Shame as the product seemed good. Communicating with Rosaland afterwards to arrange exchange was quite muddled, their support staff always seem to respond without having checked what had already agreed to remedy the situation. Roseland also told us we'd have to pay extra for the courier to unpack the replacement to ensure it wasn't In damaged, who seems unfair given our experience. In addition when the replacement was received the driver refused to take the old damaged repackaged unit back, so we've had to store that now and just hope they collect it. Somewhat of a muddled all round.

Sometimes the delivery and collection can take place on different days depending on the couriers availability which we understand is frustrating. The furniture is good quality (from previous purchases) but the customer service is poor and so puts me off buying from here again. My latest order still hasn't shown up and the only efforts to find out where it is have been for Roseland Furniture to email the couriers but leave it at that. I have to chase to hear anything back from Roseland about the progress (or even lack of) and otherwise I think it would just be forgotten. Really disappointed in this lack of communication.

Sadly the piece of furniture I had chosen was in poor condition when it arrived. A variety of faults with quality. My complaint was dealt with speedily & efficiently, my emails were swiftly responded to & I was offered a refund with arrangement made for the goods to be picked up & returned. I will most definitely reorder when further stocks are available.

Original order of furniture arrived damaged. Replacement put together badly and one leg detached. Customer Service wonderful, speedy and proactive. Rubbish firm tasked with collection of damaged original item. Failed to arrive on day / times they specified. No way of contacting them and still storing furniture. A very disappointing experience.

Very happy with my bedroom furniture looks good and reasonably priced but not cheap and description reads ‘minimal assembly’!! Came flat packed, 18 bolts & washers 27 screws later and help from some muscles it is up , it has put me off ordering again from them , when I’ve had quite a few pieces , but might as well gone to IKEA for third of price

We send all our wardrobes out in panels as they are much easier to travel up staircases of all shapes and sizes. This particular wardrobe would be all panels as it is a single wardrobe. I am pleased with the furniture but Roseland’s Couriers XPD, were abysmal.! They ignored the message that Roseland sent telling them not to deliver before a certain date as I was away. They then delivered the Sideboard and dumped it outside my house, in my absence without obtaining a signature from any neighbours. It was therefore left to my elderly neighbours to drag a heavy sideboard to a safe place, with a great deal of difficulty to protect it from the elements and/or theft overnight. On my return, it then had to be moved again to my own house, again with a great deal of difficulty for myself and elderly neighbour. This is a very poor performance for a piece of furniture of value, XPD did not even wait to receive a signature or make sure it was in safe hands!

Hello Linda. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about the problem with delivery. If you wished to place an order and delay delivery, then please let us know prior to dispatch so that we can hold the goods here until you are ready to receive the goods. Unfortunately, the couriers did not pick up our message in time to be able to get the information across to the driver and stop it from being delivered. The driver however should certainly not have left the goods unattended without permission from yourself. We have taken this up with them to reduce the risk of this happening in the future. The sideboard was lovely. But they seriously need to find different delivery firms (Xpd in particular!) Delivery man left sideboard with a complete stranger 2 streets away and my daughter had to carry it home themselves! Not a great experience!

This review is based solely on the misleading information on the website. It’s now 18 days since we ordered items that stated ‘in stock - delivery 5- 10 days’. We have moved to the UK from overseas and only ordered this furniture based on the availability and lead time. I’m assuming the fact that I have been sent this link to leave a review of the furniture indicates that I should have already received the items. My emails to customer service have been promptly answered but basically told that we have to wait. Under promise and over deliver should the mantra for all sellers - at this stage I’m ready to cancel the order.

Good quality furniture (solid, and with nice finish) at a sensible price, but let down by - lengthy delays with part of the order (ordered in February, but still no estimated delivery date) - spectacularly poor delivery service (part of order has been with MXL Delivers for past 10 days, and they have now stated that it will take another week to deliver... no response to emails chasing for delivery date... for delivery already made, MXL Delivers delivery staff urinated on neighbour's garden fence instead of finding public facilities).

'Oak' dressing table arrived damaged. All four legs were split, a joint on the front was open and the frame behind was badly split. The dressing table is made up of an oak top and legs but the remaining frame is cheap, poor quality pine and ply. Not what you would expect from oak-quality furniture. Spend a bit more and buy the real thing. However, the customer service to get this returned and refunded was very good.
