“been waiting in for an important parcel for my job with still no sign of it being delivered. they were given the package to them on Thursday with 1st class signed so due Friday. its now Tuesday and i have received nothing and have rang up twice now both times been on the phone for over an hour to then be cut off. I speak to the postman most mornings and he hasn't had any parcels for me. Its not the first time Royal Fail have lost my parcel either. they are down there with hermes as the worst delivery company”

“Disappointed with Royal Mail. They have refused to deliver mail to the flats my sister lives in. They have decided it is an old folks home and say their posties are too scared to come in and deliver. Despite the postmen knowing it is NOT an old folks home they will not deliver. Consequently, one resident has to go to the sorting office twice a week and collect the post. It is about time somebody sorted the mail service out it is not fit for purpose. Office now closes at 11am which is absolutely pathetic. Who gets up at 7am to collect the parcel? Yes they do a redelivery service but you have to wait 2 days for this and the driver will probably do the same again anyway. Lazy little S***s”

“Royal Mail delivered TWO parcels to me earlier this week; knocked on my door and left them on the door step. I caught the guy walking away, and he motioned with his hand for me to look downwards. It was raining. Thank goodness I was home as neither parcel was wrapped in plastic; just cardboard. I'm now waiting for another parcel to be delivered by them, this one 1st Class 'signed for' with an iPad inside. Took them 5 days to deliver it to a shop for repair, First Class Delivery. Now it's on it's return journey back to me. The repair shop only had it less than two days; sent it back to me on 2nd day - 3rd June @12:48pm 1st Class 'signed for'.”

“Royal Mail are monumentally useless! I'm expecting a small parcel supposedly "48 Hour tracked". Unfortunately, RM's interpretation of 48 hours is frankly anything they want it to be and no doubt they'll bleat about this being a Covid-19 related issue. Any excuse RM! Looking at the tracking my parcel was in the system a week ago, its been to several sorting centres, including some incorrect ones, and still is no where near its final leg of the journey. This outdated institution needs a complete kick up its backside. If Amazon can deliver me something within hours, why can't RM? Wouldn't it be great if Amazon took over RM completely. If anyone from RM ever reads these reviews, although I doubt it given there arrogance, then pull your finger out and provide a service fit for the 21st century or if you are incapable of that then hand the business to someone that can!”
“Waited in all day for a package to receive a text stating delivery attempted but unable to access driveway/front door. Absolutely pack of lies. Insult to injury when waiting in all day to receive lies like that. No attempt was made, no cctv detected, no doorbell rang & absolutely no obstructions. Tried to call & give them opertunity to explain lies but gave up after 20min on hold with sorry to keep you waiting nonsense.
