It's unacceptable to fail getting a singniture or deliver in bulk when a "sign for" delivery is expected. More than that is unacceptable for Royal Mail to lose the correspondence after it was successfully collected from the Post Office. It's a good thing you only handle correspondence and not more important things or well all be in big trouble. You're betraying customer trust when you're not providing the service that he paid for. Only 1 star this year for lacking professionalism.

If you intend to send anything more valuable or important than say, a square of used toiled roll, i would implore you to find an alternative carrier. For the last two months i have been attempting to re-mortgage my house and the Royal Mail have lost 75% of all the correspondence between me and the building society, as a result of such I'm going to end up losing hundreds, if not thousands of pounds. I am truly gobsmacked at their incompetence, if it was any other business that didn't have such a captive market they would not exist. There is absolutely no repercussion for there extreme, excessive...immeasurable incompetence they just keep on chugging away. I can only assume that they have introduced a cost saving measure where 3 out of 4 letters get sent straight to landfill. In summation, thanks Royal Mail, you are truly the worst service i have attempted to use in my life and i hope someday it all catches up with you and you go under like you so massively deserve to you absolute shower of cowboys.

The 739 system belongs in the last century ! ...If i stick to companies using Hermes and i miss a delivery ,then i ring the girl on her mobile and it is delivered the next time she is in the area ...with Royal Mail ,you have to go down the sorting office or arrange a different delivery day ....and it is unpredictable when they will arrive ...so a lost day ,sitting at home waiting . The world had changed since the 739 system was introduced , we are increasing pollution ,wasting time and telephone calls ...sticking with this antiquated system. I prefer to order from a company a company that ...doesnt...use Royal Mail !

Wonderfull, Royal Mail! On friday night i ordered one present for Christmas. I did not expect to be arriving before Christmas as it was weekend and i choose free delivery 2-5 working days. It came today on Monday morning at 8am. WOW! Thank you soooo much for your hard work delivering mail!

Royal Mail should be exemplar when it comes to delivering things. I would be as harsh and say they are a joke, they should not use the word "Royal" my experience is they loose more than they deliver, the operatives climb over my fence between me and my neighbour rather than walking around, you cannot track anything. They force you to go to there collection office to keep checking if your parcel has turned up. I have elected now to reject buying anything that is going to be delivered by this company.

I am stunned. I usually don’t have much to say that’s good these days about Royal Mail. Today I say ‘thank you’. My little girl posted a letter to Santa with her address on the back so he could reply!! 🤣🤣🤔🙄 Today a beautiful card from the North Pole factory from Santa himself personally to her. I noticed it’s a card made by Royal Mail from their logo on the back. How wonderfully kind. She is abolutely thrilled.

I have been wrongly taxed by Border Force, but Royal Mail would not deal with this problem or even show me the parcel (so I could figure out what was it that required the tax payment) until I pay over £11 of taxes and duties (for £13 bought item!). Tried to phone them - useless; I've spent almost 30 minutes (calls are not free for me) total in waiting and listening to their radio, but still no-one picked up the receiver. A few times we received items clearly labelled with different addresses - we had to deliver it to those unlucky people by ourselves! Recently we have received a broken parcel with parts of the content missing. So complete robbery all around... Very unhappy.

My parcel doesn’t need a signature so why does Royal Mail NEVER deliver to a neighbour instead of making me trek miles to the sorting office? Does Royal Mail enjoy being really annoying? If I know a parcel is going to be delivered by Royal Mail I wouldn’t buy it

Worst service and attitude from any company I have felt with. Next day and 48 track services are not worth a toss. Nothing arrives on time that's if it arrives at all. Don't waste your time or money use another delivery service .

Royal Mail never delivers my parcel even when I AM at home. The driver leaves a calling card without even ringing the bells on my door. Rubbish service as always, made a complaint on phone and had to wait an hour on the phone to be put through to an adviser. No one got back to me with regard to the complaint.

I was at home, the postman did not knock or ring my bell. The card he left told me my parcel was in Coventry, I live 10 miles from there. When I went to collect I was told the card gave the wrong address, no apology was offered, I then had to queue at my local sorting office in the rain the next day, this is the 3rd or 4th time something similar has happened. I once went to a Post Office to collect my parcel, and found every single delivery for that morning had been left filling the small shop. I now ask an on-line supplier if they use the Royal Mail, if they do, I will not place an order. I would rather pay more to use any other carrier.

My first use of the click and drop service has not gone well. I sent a parcel by tracked 24 hour signed for delivery. Posted on Monday 10th at 1227 and expected it to arrive on the 11th. This did not happen and the web site still had the parcel in Swindon. On 12th it was still not delivered so I called Customer services who could not tell me where the parcel was, although it is a tracked service, and suggested I called the recipient to confirm that it had not been delivered. It had not so I emailed customer services with my displeasure. On Thursday 13th I was emailed to inform me that the parcel had now been delivered and I should note that the tracked 24 hour service does not guarantee a 24 hour service. My delivery took 71 hours yes 71 hours to a postcode in Leeds not the Outer Hebrides! I warn others if you have something urgent to deliver DO NOT RELY ON THE ROYAL MAIL 24 HOUR SERVICE. Needless to say that is my first and last time of using this unfit for purpose delivery service.

Totally useless business. Poor customer service, Impossible to navigate website and post that eventually turns up sometime mid afternoon !! This industry is obviously in need of competition. Maybe then we may get a decent Postal Service.

Attention!! This is the second time a small letter size goes missing. I sent another letter just a piece of paper to see if it arrives and it arrived but the 2 which were a bit bulky( i sent a plastic mould and a phone component) they never arrived. So my guess is that the letters which seem interesting or a bit bulky can go missing. I am accusing royal mail of theft/negligence, it s clear as daylight that something is very wrong. I want to warn everyone to take due diligence because this is REAL. And they have no transparency whatsoever. The posts were from Uk to Uk address Edinburgh-high wycombe. Please i want my stuff back
