Ordered a bike for next day delivery on the 31st May, the bike didn't arrive. I complained and was then promised it would ship on the 2nd June for next day delivery, it didn't arrive. I checked the tracking on Monday the 5th June, it showed the bike as not having been collected. Rutland said the driver must have forgotten to 'scan the package'. Seven days later and the tracking showed the bike was NOT collected by TNT, however they refused to refund my £600 'as the bike might be delivered' - so i had to do a chargeback with my card company to get my money back...very poor

Completely misleading website showing they have items in stock when they're clearly not in a position to fulfil the order. Despite website saying item in stock, I called after 7 days and the items still not in the warehouse ready for delivery. Really misleading and caused me over a week delay which would have been even longer had I not called twice. Also, when they promise to call you back, that didn't happen either...

I ordered and paid for a new helmet at the start of August. Now November and still no helmet despite countless chases and hours wasted. Multiple excuses and promises but still no helmet and it is always me, the customer, who has to chase. Rutland have not once come to me with an explanation or an update. The evidence suggests customer service is broken and therefore cannot recommend, indeed will never go near again.

Ordered an ebike via phone call to Graham telesales in May, pd a deposit with bike expected in stock in June. Contacted by Graham early June requesting full payment as bike due in stock, against my better judgement I paid, June & July came and went, no communication from Rutland Cycling. When I contacted customer services I was told that Graham had left & another telesales person would be in touch. A new possible date was October with no guarantee this would happen. I requested a full refund and to be fair this was returned to my bank within 3 days… phew! Need less to say I won’t be ordering anything else from this company again

I bought a turbo trainer from the Milton Keynes store and had issues with the finance agreement. The customer services from the store was shocking, I visited the store, emailed and called but It was not resolved, It was partially resolved after contacting their HQ customer services (Rebecca) who sorted the issue within a week. I would not rush to purchase anything from Rutland in the future.

First time using Rutland and not a good experience.Ordered 6 x CO2 road bike cartridges which it said was in stock ,3 arrive as part order, had a look online still in stock😂 contact Rutland sorry don’t know what’s happened I will send you the remaining order,fantastic came next day delivery I was going on cycling hol,opened box and wrong order sent 😂 contacted Rutland and was offered a replacement or refund for wrong item. Sent email for a refund which was picked up by Rebecca who kept sending emails asking questions because she could not be bothered to read the attached emails until I told her it was getting silly and read the previous email .Poor experience and at time of review 7 days later NO REFUND .

Terrible, ordered a bike in March which was in stock for over £1100, never came, Rutland Cycling only ever kept me up to date after chasing number of times. Still no bike and latest update won't get it until September, was eventually offered alternatives with no apology or consideration of delays or impact on customer service. Will stay clear in future.

Well what surprise........order has not turned up!!! I wish I did my research before ordering!!! I recommend to anyone that has had any delay of delivery or no delivery at all and you've had to fight for a refund to contact Trading standards asap!! Before some other smuck gets done over. Bombard all their socials until you get your goods.

Worst company I have dealt with purchased road bike online the bike did not turn up on the date they gave me contacted them and was told another date still did not arrive then told another date I was not told the truth on numerous occasions they took my money but did not have the bike in stock.

Worst company in all world. Bought staff from them with next day delivery. They arranged despatch date week after order date. DO NOT USE THEM

Looked at their website to ensure the items I wished to purchase were in stock; 'last few' was the message. Rang to confirm and place order, given a date for delivery-3 weeks hence. I still have no bikes Large order) and told 'waiting for delivery from Giant. So they lied when they said they had stock. Very shady practices going on at Rutland. Buy at your peril! Awful experience that still isn't resolved! Placed a large order in early December with some items for Christmas. Chased multiple times before order finally delivered in mid Jan. One item was too small, so following the exchange policy on their website, I ordered a bigger version, to them return small item on receipt. Moneybags telaken from my account twice but turns out the order wasn't placed!! Then they only refunded me for one of the payments initially. Eventually sent back original too small item only for them to incorrectly process the refund amount. Twice! I am still £20 short and now Customer Services are not returning my emails. Shambles from start to finish. Ordering system is clearly flawed as is Customer Services. Do not go anywhere near...

Don't get fooled by the cheaper prices. There's a reason why it is cheaper than everyone else. Because you don't get your order. Good luck trying to get Customer service to help - they keep telling you it's at the warehouse, and that they'll let you know via an update/email once sent, but after 3 weeks of chasing every day, it only takes a fool to fall for it for the 4th week. Avoid and pay a bit more for a reputable company that actually delivers what you order.

It is February 2022 and I'm afraid I have to agree with many other reviews regarding customer services at Rutland Cycles being very poor. Phoned sales department and ordered £3000 e bike on 3rd February and although the bike eventually arrived two weeks later in a battered, torn box, I had no order number, no confirmation of purchase, no notification of delivery date and no communication at all despite contacting customer services several times by phone and emails. The pre inspection leaflet was totally blank apart from a squiggle signature on the back and could relate to any bike and there was no other paperwork included in the package. Questions and issues I have raised with Rutland Cycles since , have met with stony silence so far....a shocking way to treat customers. Is any attention paid to these reviews by the company?!!

DO NOT order bikes from their web site Purchased a Giant Talon 21 via cycle to work scheme. After a long period of radio silence I called the sales people who promised to dispatch ASAP and gave me an estimated delivery date, then nothing turned up. Called customer care who told me my order was now high priority, then nothing turned up. Here I am a month later paying for a bike that i'm starting to think never existed in the first place. Team were polite enough the few times I actually got hold of them but that is useless if it's all lies. Seen other reviews that suggest offering different delivery dates when you complain is a deceitful delaying tactic to hopefully have the thing you bought in stock in the future.

Ordering two small items in stock. Payed for express shipping. There’s nothing express about it. Takes 10 days just to process your order. Spend your money else where

Go elsewhere if possible Order placed on the 10th, multiple emails chasing for an estimated despatch date or even an order confirmation, fobbed of with ‘I will email the despatch department’. Finally got a order confirmation on the 21st after multiple calls and emails. Finally told they have it in stock at Milton Keynes store but will take days to get it to central despatch. Why is it still sat there 12 days after the order was made? Had to cancel the order on the 22nd, ordered from and alternative supplier delivered on the 24th.
