I placed my orders with a diffrent delivery adress as it's christmas, payment was took and on delivery day I was contacted and told my orders can't be shipped as a measure to protect against fraud. Although I could resolve this by sending photo identification I couldn't as I'm in london with work and had no photo id present. The staff who contacted me was very polite and clear it still didn't help my situation.

It took me almost an hour to order one item online. Your website rejected all my credit cards... And I was on the US website. Had to sign up for paypal to make order. You are lucky I could not find a nicer umbrella for less than double the price.

the products are very good shipment to European countries and 'too good, the only flaw are the repayments now I am to have two pairs of the same shoes with different numbers because a pair of shoes and' big and I can not ask for a refund only in money but spending a good cause 'shoes I bought are in balance.

Your delivery company is letting you down. I'm still waiting for the goods to be delivered. If you have used Royal Mail, I could have picked my goods up as they weren't left as I wasn't in at the of first attempt to deliver them. I made arrangements for them to be re-delivered only to be let down. I have no idea what is happening. I would now be reluctant to use you again. Yours in frustration Ian

Dear Sir In future please use an address you will be available at the time of delivery, and if you do instruct a change , this will cause delay as a parcel will be in transit the next day and have to be returned back to the Depo to be re-assigned to another address, to avoid the parcel from getting lost and not being tracked. Dear Sir, We are sorry we are sold out of the Nike White Huarache. There is no intent to oversell any product, as we then have to make a refund which costs us a commission to send back funds. We would much rather provide the product. The problem occurred as the orders were coming in faster than the website could update. We litterly had 1000's of people try and buy at the same time. The Website needs a 30secs to a minute to update a stock level after a purchase. Orders were pouring in every 5-10 seconds, which caused the issue to allow people to buy those sizes that had actually sold out. All the stock was sold in 13 minutes. Unfortunately we had to let down around 40 customers including yourself. We allocated stock according to time of order placed on a first come first serve basis. We will work to improve our system to avoid any future sudden rush for one given product. Kind regards Stuarts London

My experience from this website has not been a good one. I bought a leather jacket and when it was sent to me it looked nothing like the picture on the website and because it was a sale item I was only given store credit. I recently purchased some more items from the website including a pair of trousers that on the website looked a completely different colour to the ones that I have been sent.

I have always been a fan of Stuarts and bought several things over the last 3 years. This Christmas I spent £300 in the sale and when some items didn't fit I sent them back. It is Stuarts policy to not refund sale items even in my situation when they don't fit. I have since moved my business to the many other retailers online who have a more customer focused returns policy. A real shame

Dear Matthew, I have read your review and was not aware that you were not given a refund as you were within your 14 days of return for a refund period. I can only apologise presently, as the member of staff`s incompetence led to you getting an e-wallet as this is not normal practise and he has since been removed from Stuartslondon due to making too many mistakes. We do not like to upset our customers and we offer a 14 days returns period for sale items and 28 days for full price items and only our clearance stock is non-refundable as you will appreciate this is our dead stock. As a gesture of goodwill I have added £10.00 to your account + the funds you already have there, if you would like us to refund the amount we can do so for you. . Do not liked the fact that you write on your online store website "free worldwide shipping", but you're actually mislead customers because it is not true - in Russia you deliver charge and expensive. Thank you.

Stuarts London policies on returns are not good. Sale items you will only get credit on return. Charges for returns and even unexpected charge for postage on firts return when looking for different size. Check if items are available from shops with better returns policies.

I ordered a pair of trainers, a day later after me paying securely for them I received an email saying they arent in stock. Was not happy, as they was a Christmas present. Why let a customer pay for something if the product is not in stock.

Dear Chole We are sorry , but during the Xmas rush its very hard to keep up with the stock level. Everything is computerised and scanned, but sometimes on last items, we may get an order from multiple people just minutes apart. The system need 4 minutes to update stock level in the warehouse. This is why it still allowed you to make purchase, but the item had already sold minutes before. I am sorry someone should have explained this to you when they emailed back. Kind Regards Ravi

I registered my details then I made my purchase and paid for product. A few hours later I get an email canceling my order. Offering a gesture of good will. However I need now to wait for refund to be processed making it tight for Christmas delivery. Why not call explain the problem allowing me to choose a credit so I can reorder straight away?

Dear Anita You are so right , we should have called you instead. It was due to sheer volume of Xmas Orders and trying get everything out on time, that made it a little bit difficult to delivery the service anyone would be used that we provide all year around. Ordered a pair of Clark's originals as a Christmas present, 2 days later received a call to say they actually didn't have that item in stock & would need to refund my money, not helpful in the run up to Christmas

Biggest problem is that they are supposed to be "Regular" length of 32" inseam, but only measure 30.5". Taking into account shrinkage when washed, the inseam may become 30" or less. May have to return for refund.

I have been a customer of your for many years and i think you have a great shop ... But this is the first time i have brought somethink on line and i was shocked to recsive my new jacket in the smallest parcel you could of got got it in to ... I was like it had been vacuum packed , I had it hanging but the creases are still in it and it looks flat as a pancake , Its a shame because it was a nice jacket however i will be returning it to your shop this week as i am local to you. I received the order quickly and it was complete, however, the pair of Grenson shoes I bought had several scratches, a bit disappointing. I also bought a shoe horn and it was really in a terrible state. The sample I received seemed used already and the hole on the handle appeared to be drilled or widened by something, plastic was pouring out and it was covered by black dirt. The appearance of this thing was really shockingly wrong!

I bought an xl jacket. Exactly the same size i have been wearing before. Suddenly the size is too small and to exchange it , i have to return it at my own cost. Will not use it again. Thanks
