Surprice FARO - One star is a good review for this company. Like Diane these thieves charged me 187 euros(including an administration fee of 65 euros) for a small scrape on the underside of the front bumper! I gave the car back in the condition I received it. I didn't take the additional insurance and it felt that because I didn't take this additional insurance that they would find something to charge for. The employee which took over my car quickly managed to find this little scrape (1cm)as if it was something she was expecting to find. The car was only used to drive to a hotel and park up with no contact being made. I am very happy to pay for something I have done and have no issue in doing so. No doubt they won't even repair this either. Please be very wary of this company and I recommend use someone else. A shuttle bus picks you up from the Airport (Faro) and takes to to there site approx 5 mins away. Collection was extremely slow two people serving a customer each(wasn't even busy) but they seems to have one speed - slow and took approx 40 mins to pick up car. Not even an acknowledgment of sorry you have had to wait - nothing. Not the experience a customer should expect. Please be aware.

thives!!!! they took from my card a deposit of 900€. i gave the car back in the condition I receive it and the employee whick took over my car was searching for something to pay for. so she "found" a small "demage" which can not be seen and says I have to pay 400€. i took a picture, they sent me one which has no damage so I can not ask the insurance company to pay for it. They fraud the customers and the insurance conpanys! shame on you!

Make note of the low rating! Poor customer service. They will try to rip you off where possible. They charged me 160 euros for 2 alloys that were already damaged. My fault for not taking photos of the wheels before hand and only the body of the car! Make sure you have sufficient insurance or go with another company. No where near the airport either and not easy to find!

Disastrous Car Rental Experience with this company My recent car rental with this company was an utter nightmare, leaving me feeling cheated and disappointed. The entire experience was plagued by various issues that made it a total rip-off. Firstly, I was hit with an unexpected additional insurance cost during the booking process. The lack of transparency and hidden fees felt like a dishonest attempt to swindle customers. Upon receiving the car, I was shocked by its deplorable condition. It was disgustingly dirty inside and out, showing no signs of being cleaned in ages. The lack of care for their vehicles and customers was evident. To add to the frustration, when the car experienced a mechanical issue during the rental period, the company's service was abysmal. Their staff showed no interest in resolving the problem, leaving me stranded and unsupported during my trip. Moreover, I had paid for a 5-door car to accommodate my family's needs, but they provided a 2-door vehicle instead. The complete disregard for my booking preferences disrupted our travel plans. Even worse, despite pre-paying for an automatic transmission, I received a manual car. When I raised the issue, the staff completely ignored my request for an automatic, showing a total lack of concern for customer preferences. In conclusion, I strongly advise against renting from this company. The unexpected insurance cost, filthy car, terrible service, incorrect car type, and ignored request for an automatic transmission made it a disastrous rental experience. Save yourself the frustration, stress, and money by choosing a more reliable and customer-oriented rental service instead. This company is not worth your business.

Office at the airport doesn't exist, car comes dirty, half tank of petrol, old covered with dent's and scratches. When you return the car expect them to find some kind of damage. Photograph everything, make sure he takes a note of everything. If you are a foreigner they are probably going to make up damage. Haggle, you may have to buy your way out of this one. Best advice don't hire a car from them

Jeden wielki skandal dostałem auto w opłakanym stanie polepione taśma klejąca z przeciekającym dachem i zaciekami wody jak padało Jak złapałem gumę i założyłem zapasowe to okazało się ze jest z defektem i strach jechać zAdnej pomocy mimo pełnego ubezpieczenia. Gorąco nie polecam tej firmy

A total scam!! They charged me $260 euros for a scratch that was virtually the visible tithe naked eye. They tell you to take it up with your insurance company. These guys are thieves and shouldn’t be allowed to be in business. You’re trying to have a nice time and then these scammers ruin the vacation. Seriously, someone should look these guys up, this hurts the reputation of the city and tourism.

Rip off - took €25 off credit card for 'cleaning' 3 days after saying car was in perfect condition when returned. Avoid at all costs.

Rentcar from complaint!! Car rented on rentcars.com for 42.33 euros, paid almost 300 euros in the end! like me also other "unfortunate" on the day of collection at the airport of Malta I was practically "cheated" with the game of the credit and debit card!! that is... with a clever "deception" (despite having several types of cards with me) they made me make the security deposit transaction with the debit card, NOT explaining that I was then obliged to take out insurance for over 70 euros per day! to tell them after 2 hours lost in discussion it was not even possible to cancel the transaction in order to be able to make another one with a "credit" and not a "debit" card! they also made me pay 30 euros because the flight was delayed for 30 minutes... when I had specified the flight references on the rentcars.com site and the contract would not have required penalties! I often rent cars around Europe and what I see lately is luring the customer with completely off-market rental costs and then "cheating" the customer with damage insurance! ATTENTION it is better to choose a rentcar maybe more expensive at the beginning .. than one that turns out to be just a "swindler"!

At 18 may 2023, from milano airport we booked a car by using edreams.com. Unfortunately, they could not provide us the car, and except cancellation. We mailed a lot, talked with customer service and still can not get our money back. We will go to court. Ref no: IT735814580

Total fraud - car unsafe with engine failed half way through - very expensive and unsafe cars do not ever rent with them for your own safety !

I think this company is a total joke. Finally picked up at airport then left in limbo at some random multi-tenanted office building waiting for a guy who never turned up and then no one answered the phone. Someone did turn up to return a car so I guess they do rent them! He said it was a total nightmare, having to wait 2 hours to pick up and I left him there trying to return as by then, I just made other arrangements! I checked on Companies House and the company was registered June 2021 and dissolved June 2022 so who knows if they are a legit company. Having read these reviews, think im glad I walked away! Be Warned people! On a side note, I may soon be complaining about CarJet who I booked the car through. Will keep you posted!

Fully paid for car rental via malta direct prior to car puck up Then when arrived to collect car, they would not accept debit card to takr a deposit. They wanted 200 euros for additional rental plus 450 for a deposit for any possible damage or police fines for speeding. I was bullied into paying this otherwise I would lose my original car rental that i paid from malta direct. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I JUST WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. SHUTTLED FROM FARO TO OFFICE TO COLLECT CAR. WAITED FOR AN HOUR FOR SHUTTLE BUS TO COLLECT. WAITED ANOTHER HOUR TO GET TO THE COUNTER. HAD TO RETURN THE CAR 6/8 FULL. YOU’D NEED TO BE A MATHEMATICIAN TO FIGURE THAT OUT. HAD TO TAKE OUT EXTRA INSURANCE TO HAVE EXCESS REDUCED FROM 1845 TO 300 EURO DESPITE PURCHASING THAT INSURANCE WHEN I RENTED THE CAR INITIALLY. NEEDED TO DROP CAR AT 0700 SO HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL 40 FOR THAT PRIVILEGE!. THE COSTS JUST KEPT ADDING ON. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Terrible experience. Arrived at Heathrow spoke to the Surprice office twice to say we were on our way, but due to huge delays at immigration we ended up being an hour later on the pick-up time. On arrival they then said that the car was no longer available and the money I’d paid gone - Because we were late. They blamed the broker (economy bookings) who was equally unhelpful. Ended up losing hundreds of pounds and no car. They offered no apology, no assistance and no customer service… they look cheap on the website but they’re terrible please don’t use them. We ended up using Europcar, more expensive but delivered and excellent service.

FRAUDSTERS. HIDDEN CHARGES. PATHETIC SERVICE. BEWARE AND AVOID Multiple hidden charges, threatening customer to buy heavily priced insurances, cheating on daily mile limit and peddling fuel at high costs, rude staff - worst car hire experience. Pickup was several miles off the mentioned location and took hrs delay ruining all plans.

Il servizio in Fiumicino e' pessimo,le 2 ragazze molto maleducate ,e urlano ai clienti, noi avevamo prenotato 3 settimane un auto per circa 600 euro,siamo arrivati un giorno dopo,e la ragazza alla reception non ci ha mantenuto il prezzo originale ,il nuovo costo e' stato di 1670 euro,il tripplo.Cercano sempre di aggiungere costi extra . Alla consegna nonostante avessimo pagato l assicurazione full cover ,la ragazza ha tentato di farci pagare il vetro crepato da un sasso. La ragazza odia i clienti,quando e' arrivata ha detto scocciata "cosa ci fa tutta questa gente qui" ,erano le otto del mattino. le due ragazze sono anche maleducate e rispondono male ai clienti. La navetta non c 'era ,la ragazza scocciata a ha detto fra 2 ore,cosi abbiamo dovuto prendere la navetta del parking ,per non perdere il volo. Queste ragazze alla reception sono una vergogna per L italia. Quando gli ho detto che avevano un rating di 1,7 mi ha risposto "non mi importa ,sto bene lo stesso".
