Stay away from this joke of a company my oap mother cancelled her account 1 year ago but for some reason they kept the account going even though she no longer lived at the address where they were providing it to. A year down the line she has bailiffs at her door telling her she needs to pay up. When I phone up on my mother’s behalf as she was getting no where with trying to cancel the account they kept me on the phone 2 hours passing me from pillar to post just to cancel the account. They even tried to get me to change the account into my name as I’m working and not on a pension like my 70 year old mother said u will be able to afford it more than your mother. And still after I refused they still wouldn’t cancel the account. my mother had had sleepless nights wondering how she going to pay this bill that just keeps getting bigger and bigger because they won’t let her cancel. Anyway in the end the only way this was going away was for me to transfer it to my name and pay these bullies so they would leave my mother alone. Thanks talk talk for all the stress u have coursed it is very much appreciated 👍😡

Marketing excellent but service doesn't deliver, especially if problems encountered - customer services diabolical. Typical call centre setup incorporating all the usual barriers - problems not understood, unintelligent prompts reading crib sheets, transfers from pillar to post resulting in continuous repeating of problem, time wasting, difficulty in getting referral to management, unwillingness to confirm anything in writing - calls unlikely to finish within an hour, then have to again repeat whole process! Introduction of new charges/increases by stealth & refuse to justify by specific reference to the exact terms & conditions referred to. TalkTalk definitely to be avoided.

Poor internet speed under 2.5 MBPS for a 10 MBPS contract Paying for unwanted and unused services like landline phone and no chance to get this service removed (who is still using landline phones nowadays?) Poorest customer service ever: I called them to cancel the contract but they claim I called just for details, hence my surprise when I received another increased bill from them. Called immediately to cancel the renewal but it took another month to finally cancel it. Not to mention the last month of older contract was for nothing because I moved to another address and signed up with another supplier. Basically I payed £78 for nothing. But I was glad I got rid of them. So, please don’t sign anything with them, choose the next best one, it pays to avoid TT. If they still convinced you, please contact them by email so you have written proofs once you finish with them.

Worst service provider I have ever experienced. Been a customer less than 5 months, The initial connection was late and faulty, have to reset my router several times every week. Had no Internet at all for two weeks in June, no automatic compensation, even though they are signed up to Ofcom compensation scheme. Speed is no where near as fast as they quote. I've spent literally hours on the phone with them, have been cut off several times. Useless, hopeless, pathetic service and terrible, terrible customer service.

I wouldn’t even give one star if possible. The broadband is appalling. So slow that it’s more efficient to use the data off my phone. When you call customer service they literally pass you around the office and offer no help other than charging you to get a technician out for their poor service. They do not look after their customers. They do not fulfil their end of the contract you agree to and adhere to, yet threaten charges if you wish to terminate your contract due to their negligence. I would under no circumstances recommend this broadband service, sure it’s cheap but they don’t provide the bare minimum Mb that is within your contract. I will not be continuing my contract with this broadband ‘provider’ and January cannot come soon enough to be rid of them.

Worse customer service, no mater what they say it will not happen. I have been trying to leave them for 3 months but after each call that can take more than 1 hour then they promise better service and payment but dose not happen. They leave you waiting more than 1 hour and either they come back or the call get cut off Avoid TAlk Talk if you need to lower blood pressure!!

Run but run fast to get away from such service! Customer service is terrible, they don’t care if you are okay or not, if you pay then it’s all good, they don’t care. Trashy connection, pretty patchy service. Need to reinforce this , the customer service is HORRIBLE. Don’t recommend.

So I'm moving into a new house on the 21st of September. I went with TalkTalk WIFI as it looked like a good deal and was cheap for the amount of mps you get. When ordering I added that I was moving into my new address on the 21st and gave my current address for delivery of router. I called the next day just to confirm this. Firstly I was told 3 different things but 3 different people. The first person I spoke to had no idea at all...I was told that they can not deliver the router to a different address than the one I wanted the WIFI installed at. I asked when it would be delivered as no one would be there until the 21st and asked if I could pay for a certain delivery day, his response was it will be delivered at some point and proceeded to end the call. The 2nd person I spoke to was via text who (without any account information) said it had been dispatched already and there was nothing they could do. They then said that they would post a slip and we could take it to the Post Office to pick up - even though I had said 1 text ago that NO ONE WAS IN THE HOUSE!!!! So, I called in again. The last person I spoke to said it would be delivered a day before the engineer was due to come out. I had one booked for Monday (23rd) so they said it would be delivered on Friday - apparently you can't get items delivered on weekends. I asked to change this to Tuesday so it could be deliver on Monday, when someone would be in. Her response was; no we can not change it you picked the slot and ended the call. The only positive experience was when I called to cancel - they didn't questions it and I assume that's because they realise how rubbish and useless they are! Once they said they had cancelled it I asked for email confirmation to which I was told they can not send emails and will send a letter to the address where WIFI was to be installed. Again I said no one was there and I would like an email confirming it is cancelled but they are not aloud to send emails. I cancelled it in Virgin who put me together a package, booked the engineer in for the day we move (which TalkTalk only offer on weekdays), gave me a great price and got everything sorted in under 20 minutes. If you are thinking about going with them because of the price, like I did, just remember you get what you pay of and I wouldn't pay £1 for them.

customer service a nightmare I was on the phone with them for nearly 2 hours getting put on hold 3 times and then when I finally got speaking to the so called manager he kept saying I am looking through your notes after 5 minutes of looking through my notes he then said again I will look through your notes and when I asked him a question he yawned down the phone I was completely shocked and asked to be put through to the complaints department and he said I am the complaints department. OMG I ended up taking the most painful headache I have ever had and just put the phone down. This company is a joke and not a funny one neither.

speeds are a scam!! Frustrating customer service Terrible customer service I was emailed in July saying I wasn’t getting speeds I payed for. After two engineers vists they couldn’t resolve problem customer service tried have you switched it on and off again? Shall we send another engineer? Each call taking at least 40mins of my life to get no where. I leave yesterday to go to BT miraculously they fixed the issue (very suspicious are they limiting customers speeds even though they pay extra for fibre?) after I confirmed I was leaving the speed dropped off again so it’s quite clear where the issue lay and the 2 engineers vists where a waste of time I was a loyal customer for 5 years I would never use these scam artists again as it’s clear they limit the speeds also I was not offered compensation despite paying for service not received

over 2 10 day periods I received on my superfast broadband less than 5mbps instead of the 20 to 35 mbps as promised both times talktalk admitted liability but were reluctant to compensate first time I received £38 and for the same thing the second time £3 !!!! intermittent loss of service is a regular thing and trying to get sense from their asian call center is a waste of time
