Dorothy I had a debt, a fine for early cancellation, which I paid 2 weeks ago. All the time after payment it shows me that it has not been paid. Talktalk will not allow me to renew the package again, nor will it allow me to take broadband from another provider. I am convinced that with such a non-serious attitude and transport was treated irresponsibly, so a lot of people would die. I am not in favor of the fact that the customer is always right. Here the fact has already set in that a person no longer has the right to anything.

Worst service ever had in my life taken two and a half weeks to get a engineer booked to come out took that long to even get to speak to anyone and then yesterday he doesn’t even show up and I get a call from his offices saying he needs a parking permit when I have them and he didn’t even arrive I have cameras outside my home proving he never showed up and I called them 7 times and they have technical faults on their lines what a surprise I rea arranged my whole day couldn’t go to work and he doesn’t show up so I lose a days salary and I’m told if I’m not home they would charge me £75 the audacity of it all makes you laugh so will you be knocking £75 of my bill and reimbursing me my days wage as he didn’t turn up?

Hi well been threatened by TalkTalk if I cancel they will cancel the complaints. If I cancel I’ve got a pay six month even though they lied. Not sent an engineer and lied yet again whether they could send somebody else out. Thank you TalkTalk great service not be using you again.

To all potential talktalk victims beware of 5 star reviews, on trustpilot none have been ticked as useful,makes you ask how real they are,where as the 1star reviews keep highlighting the same problem over and over again......

Having waited 4 days for talktalk to fix the phone cable I accidentally pulled out of the junction box coming into my house I am getting nowhere. Despite telling them the issue they insisted on doing line checks and sending an engineer to assess the outside of my property when I had stated 6 or 7 times the issue was the phone cable I'd pulled out. The openreach engineer has been helpful and tried to visit my property on the day it happened but talktalk will not book me an appointment in and are insisting on sounding several hours asking questions about what is damaged despite clear explanation. I have sent them an inage of the pulled out telephone line and they finally sent me an appointment for in 2 days time. Would not purchase from them again.

What a stupid provider this is. I booked in advance for broadband setup in my new apartment I was going to move into. I waited in my new apartment for 11 days without internet for the router to arrive and get installed on the 12th day. When I didn't receive the equipment delivered to me on the 11th day, I chatted with the lame chat customer care and they informed me, "Oh the engineers can't visit you, I'll have to wait 10 more days to receive the next update!" Amazing!! Take a bow! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 You win the award for Biggest Unprofessional of the year. I wish I knew this beforehand so I never sign up with this incompetent provider blaming it all on openreach. They've just wasted my time and impacted my work. I've now booked with BT with a confirmed date for next week instead of going ahead with these clueless bunch of people who don't know what they're doing!

Talk talk told me prices are increasing.. mine is already WAY higher than they advertise and the speeds are VERY SLOW I rang them on chat and gave them my name phone number and email address but they couldn’t find my speeds or even my account

This is the most inept internet provider out there I have waited 5 days to get a connection only to be told I have to leave it over the weekend , their excuse is they can’t configure the modem, after 9 hours of calls to customer services I landed up losing my cool , one of the most shocking experiences I have ever had , all calls go to Lahore India do understanding the operative is virtually impossible,, I would say avoid at all costs even just for your sanity ,,, shocking provider ,, AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!!

No service. £200 bill..... So, weeks and weeks to get broadband and phone set up. At no point did my 80 mother of my 80 year old disabled father ever have a phone supply that worked with talk talk. They final agree to cancel the contract after days, yes days on the phone on hold and talking to stupid people. Send all their rubbish back to them. Get a £0 bill, and rightly so. Think it's fine and done. No. This is talk talk. They then send a bill for over £200 to this OAP couple for a service that was never provided!! Outrageous behaviour. After hours on the phone again trying to get a manager again, we get cut off. Take is to court talk talk. You are not getting any money from us and we have the right to now claim from you. You are a disgrace.

DO NOT USE COMPANY !!!!!! The customer service is non existent. I am trying to sort a 3 day fault on my parents line. They are in their 90’s and no one can get hold of them, including healthcare professionals. I’ve said it’s a safeguarding issue and am getting nowhere. I have never been so exasperated.

YOU SCAM PEOPLE!! I have been with you around 4 years now and since you contacted me in November 2023 asking will I be home saying openreach are in my area fitting full fiber cables and need access to the property to upgrade the lines as its mandatory by 2025. I then waited in for openreach on the date you give me and they never showed so I contacted you and then you give me another date and they didn't show again so I then put in a complaint and you give me another date and openreach come out and they fitted the new lines your said needed to be fitted and the openreach engineer said everything is good my end but your Internet isn't working so he rang you guys in front of me and you said it will be updated once he has left and I contacted you days after as still no Internet and you said my contract is with a copper line and full fiber shouldn't have ever been installed and that openreach will need to fit the old lines back ( obviously they are removing them because they are outdated so they aren't going to come and install an out of date line ) i was then given a date for openreachto come out change the lines back but guess what? THEY DIDNT SHOW. Everytime I call talk talk I'm on the phone over 1 hour and everytime I get told I will get a call back of a manager and I never do!!! NEARLY 3 MONTHS WITHOUT INTERNET AND STILL PAYING!!!!

If I could give a zero, I would. We signed up for full fibre 16 months ago, till date the engineers did not do what they were supposed to do, I have just been told today that there is a problem which the engineers have not fixed, meaning we have been left with a very poor internet service which drops randomly. To add insult to injury they overcharged us because "our contract" ended and all discounts no longer apply. However, there is no contract as the contract expired 16 months ago and we were meant to be on a new contract which never went live. I have been passed from one team to the other, finally someone refunded the overcharge after several calls and of course I cancelled the service. It is a shame because we have been with talktalk for at almost 10 years.

I'd give a zero review if I could. Had problems over a period with wifi dropping out - they eventually arranged an engineer to call, after almost bullying me to agree to T&Cs that if I had broken their equipment I would have to pay £75! Engineer came, it was a faulty cable from the box to my house which he replaced. Have been trying to log into my TalkTalk account to see when my contract expires so I can get out of it, and i can't get in and none of the forgotten password/forgotten email options work. neither does log in via your mobile phone - you try and enter the code you've received and it just says there is an error. Open Reach Engineer said they are on their last legs so change provider asap. Easier said than done!

Upon joining, I submitted correctly to transfer my existing number, and an education was provided with confirmation that it had been would be processed. And it took three separate temps to actually do this, meaning I was paying for 2 contracts when I needed 1. Once my number had been transferred, I found that telephone calls to the Mobile would not ring, going straight to voicemail. Then sending me a message telling me I had had a voicemail. This for work and personal calls was just a joke, and something that TalkHome had no interest in dealing with. In fact, this day, every attempt to raise a complaint has been ignored by them.
