Wasn’t told I needed an aerial so when engineer arrived he wasn’t able to install tv package. Was charged a total of £259.00 for just 30 days of broadband and telephone. Terrible customer service when trying to get things resolved.

Dreadful: They reward customer loyalty by charging double or more compared with the seductive rates offered to new customers. Customer services are elusive and impenetrable, call centres based in third world countries for exploitative reasons, although when you first make contact all call centres seem UK-based.

honestly i would give lower if i could. never have i dealt with such a company, if you call their technical support line they will simply lie to your face. If you ask to be transferred to customer services to make a formal complaint you are given the total runaround. no one there seems to remotely care about anything but taking your money regardless of if the actually provide service or not. avoid.

Part of my letter of November 2019 to Talk Talk. You state in my call cancelling the services, that your operative did not read out the legal compliance required for cancellations. How would I know of this requirement? I would suggest that once more this is a failure on the part of your operative Shirley, who for her own reasons, would appear to have altered records and in the light of her call in April, had no intention of registering my cancellation. She had a duty to inform me of all procedures relating to cancellations during the cooling off period, she had a duty to report matters accurately and clearly she did not. I did not ask you to listen to a call of 10th April, after the call with Shirley/Cora,(8th April?) my landline only went to your accounts department, my internet having been shut down a couple of days before. I certainly was not at that stage, going to set up a direct debit, for a service I did not have and had cancelled. Further your reference to my saying you are in breach of Agreement clearly relates to the fact I cancelled the Contract on 31st March and this was not acted upon. Your interpretation of phonecalls/emails is disingenuous to say the least. I do not appreciate this fraud being carried out against myself either by your operative Shirley/Cora and/or your company, resulting in over £220 in additional charges for a cancelled service and a service which you know full well you stopped back in April. 1. Your operative and/or yourselves have altered dates/times of conversations and have ignored many points I have raised. 2. You set a debt collection agency Moorcroft onto me in an illegal manner, stating the outstanding balance was £106. 3. You have sent Notice of Intention to File a Default 4. You have continued billing long after 31st March the date I cancelled, for a service (both phone and internet) that I have not had since early April with the price going from £43 to £256.74. I should also point out that prior to your setting Moorcroft onto me, you stated in emails that you would not deal with email or postal complaints without further data protection information, and yet you continue to this date with your erroneous billing by email with no such data protection seemingly required 5. The behaviour of your company is pure bullying and harassment designed to cause the utmost stress. It is designed for you to charge monies to which you are not entitled and and is fraudulent. I continue to reserve my position in all matters against Talk Talk I escalated my complaint via Resolver and Resolver then to CISAS. Despite CISAS stating times on Resolver they were looking into my complaint, when I sent evidence to them they said they only deal with some complaints via Resolver and that I must go to their own online service, without ever informing me of that fact before - seems they are part of the problem as i believe it is Talk Talk who pay them for their service - beware

I've had numerous problems since switching to Talk Talk 2 moths ago. A router that needed replacing, a remote control that needed replacing, a TV box that also needed replacing and problems with my landline. Customer service try to be polite but sometimes don't listen and/or don't understand the query unless repeated several times (partly due the language barrier). I've also been cut off I'd call. Unbelievably frustrating, exhausting & time-consuming to deal with. Would not recommend and as soon as I can switch to another provider, I will.

I have been trying to leave TalkTalk since mid-December in order to transfer to another, cheaper deal with another service provider. During the transfer process, it emerged that the address on my account (our property address/postcode was changed by the GPO this year) now mismatched the new address details (even although the house name remained the same). It has now taken 17 days to date and there has been no apparent progress from Talk Talk. I have to date sent over nine hours of telephone/webchat time in an effort to get the details changed. I have during that time been accused of an inability to read my own computer screen! I registered a complaint with the company on 14 January which has to date not been pursued by them. I have found their "support staff" and "customer relations" staff unhelpful and accusatory. Their management processes, all seemingly routed through a South African support structure, make Byzantine bureaucracy straightforward. Do not be tempted by pennies off: should anything go wrong in one's TalkTalk experience (and that seems entirely likely, judged by our experiences with them), one will waste pounds of time, effort and energy with them. Avoid at all costs.

I have had a long running dispute with TalkTalk since I left my wife in 2014. Because she continued to live in the property we lived in together when married and I was no longer able to enjoy the phone and internet services they provide I followed their official procedure to transfer the account to my ex wife. Legally that was the end of the matter so far as I was concerned and I have no further responsibility for the account. Nevertheless TalkTalk have periodically sent me letters from debt collection agencies and I have had another one today from some outfit based in Stockport for £1127.24. Once again I will be writing to them advising them to refer to their client, asking them not to waste their time, because they will not be getting a penny piece from me.

TalkTalk's non existent customer services? Where to start? Cancelling my late mothers broadband and phone contract, which surely should be a simple, single call and one off payment was unbelievably difficult and painful. First - call centre; calls not answered, terrible background noise, poor line quality, lots of background noise, heavily accented operators, calls drop out for no reason and if the operator can't answer the query - they terminate the call. The live chat is equally slow and unhelpful. I reckon to close the account took a total of 3 to 4 hours to call centres. In the end I had to post a letter! Appalling service. How they manage to run a telecoms company is beyond me! Avoid.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Attempted to change my address before a house move, the "customer advisor" managed to input my current address as my new address. Was then told that I would have to wait 24 hours to cancel this order and try again. Cancelled it and decided to leave the provider, after the customer advisor was so unbelievably thick to put my new address as my current address, and then when I used their complaint email to complain it bounced back and said server not used! Laughable. Also took me 5 attempts to get through to them, over the course of 2 hours, to cancel the contract. They kept hanging up the phone. They obviously outsource their calls abroad, so all "customer advisors" have limited English, and are sitting in a very loud room with lots of people shouting in the background. Talk Talk is a consistently abhorrent service, and I'm so glad I cancelled my contract with them.

I would not even give them 1 star but it won’t let me do any less! I ordered talk talk phone line and broadband and asked them to check that I had a line to connect it to. Next thing I hear is the date it will go live. I live in a flat above a business premises and on the specified date checked my router and phone. Nothing but then I was told the complete IT system at the business was down. Talk talk had connected my service to there line without any checks being carried out. Needless to say they were not happy! 3 hours on the phone on numerous different numbers and I was told the only way to resolve the matter was to cancel the package. They then offered to sort me out a new package but then told me my flat did not exist on their system. To add insult to injury I then had to phone back after 48 hrs to cancel again as they would not except me only telling them once. They have now informed that the business will have to wait another 2 weeks to get there system back up and running. Their payroll was supposed to be done today but they cannot put staff wages through as they now have no IT system! Talk talk have completely messed u everything and I would not touch them again if they were the last providers on earth!

Unbelievably atrocious. Statements like, "void the contract and delete my details," and, "I am no longer a customer of talktalk," are apparently not clear enough to qualify as cancellation (even if you open correspondence with them by registering a complaint and asking them to convince you not to cancel). But they won't tell you this, they'll wait two years, sell off a "debt" to collection agents, and claim they have no evidence of your statements..because they deleted the correspondence, the complaint and the accompanying message chain. Never have I been so glad to be a hoarder of correspondence. Also, appears team members, and team leaders, in the CEO complaints division are unaware of some fairly basic things of great relevance to their work, up to and including talktalks own customer complaints code of practice lol. I'll, eventually, be taking talktalk to court. The lawyer says I should wait for my deadlock letter, head through CISAS, then get talktalk in court to try and defend themselves. I'd describe the lawyers' current attitude as, "laughing all the way to the bank," lol. Do not ever enter in to a contract with talktalk, they will not provide what they promise, they will obfuscate and outright lie, and they will ignore your requests to cancel. Never has a company been so deserving of a negatively starred review.

If they could speak good English that would help, I had to ask the person to keep repeating what they said. and the test centre personnel was was very abrupt, half the time taking a guess what I was experiencing. Just renewed my 18 month contract, when it ends Im definitely off, there are other deals out there but a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for.
