“We booked a trip for the airport from a small town for 3:30 am Sunday for a very early flight. We received an email confirming the payment and the booking, but have not received the driver confirmation email. Fearing that they will just cancel last minute, we phoned the customer service. We had to call twice before our call was picked up, at 5pm Saturday. The line was very bad with loads of background noise. The customer service said not to worry, that they have already found a driver, and that they will send a confirmation email within a couple of hours. After returning back from dinner later that evening, we checked the email again, but the confirmation email still hadn't come through. We phoned again, but we could not get through (this was between 9 and 10 pm on Saturday). As they said they found a driver earlier, we went to sleep. When we woke up, we found a cancellation email that was sent at 2am, saying they couldn't find a driver. By sheer luck, we were able to find someone to drive us to the airport on time. If I book a taxi ahead, it's because I want to be sure that it's going to be available and on time. Especially during a pandemic with scarce flights, we would have been in a very bad situation had we missed the flight. I do not know if they outright lied, or if they had someone cancel on them, but as we never received a written confirmation, I am inclined to believe that they just lied to a customer. They did not provide the service needed.”

“SCAM. Do not book with these thieves! Not a real taxi company. Registered as a a software company. They don't own any Taxis. They pass on your bookings to actual taxi companies and once they have your money that's it! you've been scammed! Whether the taxi turns up is luck of the draw.. ours didn't!”

“Do not touch this could not care less no concept of customer service company with a barge pole. I booked and paid for a taxi to take me from Lynmouth to Barnstaple a week before. Not having had any details I called early on the day before it was due.They were shifty and evasive when I asked for details of the taxi company promising me they would call back claiming a computer /IT problem meant my details not available . There was no call back despite further chasing calls. I called again later that day ,so the evening before the taxi pick up due ,but met with the claim all operators busy leave a message and they would call back.I left messages requesting calls back. They never did at which point I checked my emails and discovered an email sent at 1.45 a.m. that morning unilaterally cancelling the taxi . They were almost certainly aware of this when giving me the spiel about being unable to give me any information and promising me someone would call back. I therefore called them back again requesting a call back as I was again shunted to the please leave a message and we will get back to you recorded message . Needless to say there was never any call back.A second email accompanying the unilateral cancellation email stated I had been refunded my credit card payment. A month later this refund has still not materialised . Clearly this company cannot to relied upon to provide either a taxi to turn up as contracted nor a refund when they have taken your money but provided no service whatsoever.”

“I booked a taxi to take us to airport. They arranged another company to take us there. After they were 10 min late I rang them and they said it will take another 1 hour for taxi to arrive. I had no choice to cancel my airport trip and asked my neighbour to drive us there. I got an email from Taxicode that I have cancelled and I am not due for any refund. I couldn’t wait over 2 hour for my taxi to arrive. Very poor service. It’s not possible to talk to anybody there or they don’t reply to my emails”

“COMPLETE SCAM - do not use this horrendous company. My experience seems to be the same as everyone else's: they take your money, cancel your booking, don't refund you, then you can't get hold of them by phone or email. Have launched a fraud case with my credit card company.”

“I booked a ride from ny London address to Stansted Airport at 2.30 am. It was cancelled at 1.00 am. I was offered to rebook for much higher price. I’m never going to use this company.”

“Wish I had read the reviews before booking. By the time they cancelled the booking I was unable to find an alternative, so wasted a huge amount of time and money (if we'd known we were going to have to drive ourselves home, we wouldn't have booked a hotel for the family wedding). So fed up and disappointed.”

“Ridiculous company!! Booked, and had cancelled over 10 minibuses from different companies over the course of 2 weeks. On the day that I had booked the minibus for (I had 2booked for a hen do), I phoned to confirm they will still coming. An hour later - no show followed by a cancelled email. Still waiting on all the refunds to be processed Furious!!!!!”

“Can't believe how bad this company is. I booked then send them an email asking if they find a driver for me to which they said yes. 4 hours before departure, booking is cancelled. 0 star”

“Should be seriously investigated. Fraud. Same story as everyone else here . Taxi cancelled last minute for no reason, only communicated by email. Trying to stop the payment going out to them.. refund sounds seriously unlikely”

“COMPLETE SCAM. They cancelled my booking of a minibus for 8 people at 1am on the day. It was booked for 11am! I had to pay £180 upfront and a month later I am still waiting for a refund. When you call to ask for a refund, they say “yeah no problem”. Then when you call back you find that your number has been blocked or something because they no longer answer… meaning I have been using friends phones etc to call them just to get through.”

“Not even 1 star disgusting. Taxi booked and paid for - or so I thought until stood there with 19 other members of my party waiting for taxis to appear at 23.30 on a Saturday evening only to look at my emails to see that at 19.31 that evening the booking I had been cancelled. Strangely whilst attending my husbands birthday party I did not look at my emails until I realised that the taxis to take everyone home from the venue weren't just late but not arriving. Beyond furious no taxis in the area to get for at least 2 hours and having to resort to wake people up and asking favours to do shuttle runs to move people. Ruined a great evening and now I wait for 3 days for a refund. Absolutely disgusted, furious and embarrassed do not touch with a barge pole.”

“Taxicode.com is scamming site. I just booked a car with them and paid £92.00 (that's what they quoted me), then I received an email from them asking for additional £25.00. I asked to cancel my booking, but got an email about creating a ticket and god knows when I will get my money back from them. Meanwhile I have to use more reliable company to book my trip in one and a half day. Avoid them!!!”

“Joke of a company! Been ringing all week for confirming of booking, every time I was told that we had a driver and that it was confirmed. That is until less than 12 hours before we were meant to be picked up, I received an email cancelling the booking! Do not book with them if you actually want them to turn up!”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked a taxi 3.5 weeks ago for a wedding knowing there was likely to be a lot of guests doing the same, all confirmed fine. Then 2 days before the wedding I get a cancellation. I rang customer services who were extremely unhelpful, said there was no taxis available even though their website was still giving the option to book a taxi….but for £20 more than It was 3 weeks ago. They refused to help, told me to find somewhere else. I asked to speak with the manager and ofcourse he claimed he was… and then he hung up. POOR doesn’t come close.”
