“My main issue is that you quoted £95 for the fare online. I accepted this fare and paid for it. 24 hours before the booking you then stated that it was a mistake and I had to pay £15 more. Given your 90% cancellation fee I had to accept this further charge. I would not have booked with you if the true final cost of the fare had been given to me when I originally booked. I discussed this with you and you were unable to come to any arrangement for this.”
“Same as most other experiences. Booked well in advance for a minibus for a weeding reception pick up. Never got the second confirmation email so rang them and they confirmed it was booked for that evening. 30 minutes later got a cancellation email leaving 9 of us stuck at the reception. The excuse was a flat tyre but you would think they could fix that in the eight hours before pickup.
Awful service but at least the credit card refund was fairly quick.
To be avoided and any companies forwarding bookings to them should stop as it ruins their reputation as well.”

I booked 9 days prior to needed, 4 days later the booking still was not confirmed, I tried to cancel to be told I would only get £19 of my £190 booking back. 10 days cancellation period at 10% refund is ridiculous and very unfair. Since read their reviews to find that they quite often cancel last minute or don't show so have lost the £170 and will never use this company again! Very angry”
“Not sure where to begin with these thieves. Got a quote for £670 for a mini bus on a weekend away, paid £134 deposit and sat with an "awaiting review" status, so basically nothing had been done. After a week found an alternative cheaper and cancelled the booking still "awaiting review" and "driver unconfirmed"
Then my credit card gets billed again, this time £167 after cancellation. The 'terms and conditions' are that if you cancel you pay 45% of the total booking, yes 45% of £670 for doing absolutely nothing at all. Not even 45% of your deposit.
This company is registered as a computer company, banks in Amsterdam, call centre in some far flung Asian country!!

“Booked mini bus for 8 people for £65 to return from wedding reception 4 days before event. Received an email just before leaving to attend wedding to say it had been cancelled. 😡 tried rebooking again and got a confirmed booking for £87. This then got cancelled when we were at the wedding 🤬 contacted them and were told by a customer service chap that our booking WAS confirmed and assured us a minibus would be there at designated time. Needless to say that also got cancelled just before it was required 🤬🤬🤬 DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE!!!! RUINED OUR DAY!!!”
“100% would not recommend them to anyone! I booked a minibus 2 and a half weeks ago, had £250 taken from my account promptly only to get an email this morning to say my booking had been cancelled 2 days prior to the event I’m attending! On top of that I have to wait between 3-5 working days for the money to be credited back into my account! Absolutely appalling! No one will answer my calls and I have had no email reply either.
Although they offered the lowest price at the time of booking, for future, I would rather pay more and know I will be offered a reliable service!
Their website still say they have availability although I have been told they are fully booked meaning more people will end up disappointed for sure! Terrible, terrible, terrible and I recommend you avoid it at all costs! They shouldn’t have taken my money in the first place if they knew they wouldn’t be able to fulfill the booking. “This company promises lots but does not live up to them. I booked a taxi with 10 days notice and the day before I get an email cancelling the booking. This, despite the firm promising to find alternatives if the chosen company could not fulfil the booking. Why anyone should trust this company is beyond me. A complete and utter wast of time. “I operate a small taxi firm, and we are registered with taxicode.
Basically if you make a booking at taxicode or another website affiliated with them you are probably either paying more than you would normally if you booked direct or paying a lot less and unlikely to get a taxi showing up.
Say you book a return journey for £300 from the airport to a wedding venue. If the "preferred taxi company" don't have availability, then your booking enters a booking bin. Here other providers can bid to pickup the job. Problem is, is that this will be a reverse auction. i.e. taxicode will offer the job to taxi companies paying them £50 for the job gradually increasing to £150 50minutes before you are due to be picked up. This will often result in either no assigned taxi till just before your scheduled pickup time.
Here is a breakdown of a booking my firm picked up, bear in mind that had the customer booked direct it would have cost £80.

Affiliate Fee: £28.66
SMS Booking Confirmation: £1.50
Total: £199.60
Partner Amount: £107.60
Payment Method: Debit Card
£199.60 is what the customer paid, £107.60 is what the taxi provider gets, The affiliate, is whoever suckered you in to booking on their site gets £28.66 (mostly taxicode). And the difference is pocketed by taxicode.”
“Like others, I pre-booked taxi's a week ahead, I was going to a wedding in a small village and wanted to be sure I would have transport there and back. They took my money and cancelled both the bookings, each one a couple of hours before I needed the taxi, I then ended up booking a taxi from the next town for a 2 mile journey that ended up costing me over £50! I was able to share somebody else's cab on the way back....complete scam!”
“We booked a trip for the airport from a small town for 3:30 am Sunday for a very early flight. We received an email confirming the payment and the booking, but have not received the driver confirmation email. Fearing that they will just cancel last minute, we phoned the customer service.
We had to call twice before our call was picked up, at 5pm Saturday. The line was very bad with loads of background noise. The customer service said not to worry, that they have already found a driver, and that they will send a confirmation email within a couple of hours.
After returning back from dinner later that evening, we checked the email again, but the confirmation email still hadn't come through. We phoned again, but we could not get through (this was between 9 and 10 pm on Saturday). As they said they found a driver earlier, we went to sleep. When we woke up, we found a cancellation email that was sent at 2am, saying they couldn't find a driver. By sheer luck, we were able to find someone to drive us to the airport on time.
If I book a taxi ahead, it's because I want to be sure that it's going to be available and on time. Especially during a pandemic with scarce flights, we would have been in a very bad situation had we missed the flight. I do not know if they outright lied, or if they had someone cancel on them, but as we never received a written confirmation, I am inclined to believe that they just lied to a customer. They did not provide the service needed.”
“SCAM. Do not book with these thieves! Not a real taxi company. Registered as a a software company. They don't own any Taxis. They pass on your bookings to actual taxi companies and once they have your money that's it! you've been scammed!

I booked and paid for a taxi to take me from Lynmouth to Barnstaple a week before.
Not having had any details I called early on the day before it was due.They were shifty and evasive when I asked for details of the taxi company promising me they would call back claiming a computer /IT problem meant my details not available .
There was no call back despite further chasing calls.
I called again later that day ,so the evening before the taxi pick up due ,but met with the claim all operators busy leave a message and they would call back.I left messages requesting calls back.
They never did at which point I checked my emails and discovered an email sent at 1.45 a.m. that morning unilaterally cancelling the taxi .
They were almost certainly aware of this when giving me the spiel about being unable to give me any information and promising me someone would call back.
I therefore called them back again requesting a call back as I was again shunted to the please leave a message and we will get back to you recorded message .
Needless to say there was never any call back.A second email accompanying the unilateral cancellation email stated I had been refunded my credit card payment.
A month later this refund has still not materialised .
Clearly this company cannot to relied upon to provide either a taxi to turn up as contracted nor a refund when they have taken your money but provided no service whatsoever.”
“I booked a taxi to take us to airport. They arranged another company to take us there. After they were 10 min late I rang them and they said it will take another 1 hour for taxi to arrive. I had no choice to cancel my airport trip and asked my neighbour to drive us there. I got an email from Taxicode that I have cancelled and I am not due for any refund. I couldn’t wait over 2 hour for my taxi to arrive. Very poor service. It’s not possible to talk to anybody there or they don’t reply to my emails”
