“Absolutely useless! They don't pick up the phone lines or emails. It's definitely fraudulent. Change your bank details people because this company will charge you money without any form of communication. I lost £45 deposit out of £260. I emailed them 2 days ago to double check my trip thats coming up in a few days. I had a bad feeling about this company and I'm glad I checked the reviews again so I reported them to my bank as fraud after not hearing back after 48 hours. They still tried to take the remainder of the balance. Pure scammers they can go to hell!”

“Simply don’t refund when it is policy to do so, their fault for cancelling and promised to process the refund (twice). Still waiting nearly three weeks later. No response to emails or tickets generated on their site.”

“This company should be investigated. They factor in keeping the booking fares of trips that they cancel by simply not refunding the client. They do this by initially stating that they will process the refund, and then don’t. Relying on the client becoming so frustrated that they eventually give-up; not knowing what recourse there is. Many clients have had the same experience and it is believed that many ‘positive’ reviews on Trustpilot, are in fact false. Avoid this company!!!!”

“We booked a taxi for six and at 11.15 pm - 45 minutes before they were due to collect us - they emailed to cancel - that was over two weeks ago and despite me emailing and calling I have not been refunded the £60 I paid - seems like a scam company to me - DO NOT USE”

“I have tried to get hold of this company since yesterday when they cancelled two taxis that I had booked without a reason leaving us very stranded. We have then subsequently tried to get the third one cancelled for today and I have had absolutely no refunds. I would never recommend this company, you would do much better to call local much more honest taxi company’s”

“Taxi Cide have effectively STOLEN £47 from my account after no processing my refund for 21 working days. There supposed policy is that refunds will be processed between 3 - 5 working days. Taxi Code cancelled my booking due to availability, which is fair enough. What isn’t right is that I should have to spend so much time emailing, phoning etc. with no response to my emails and no follow through from my calls despite promises. No accountability. Avoid these sharks at all costs .”

“Absolute scammers. Even cancelling a month in advance you only get 50% of the upfront fee refunded. Got 10% refunded from a very expensive up front taxi that I had to cancel 10 days in advance. Terrible service, outrageous cancellation policy and you can’t speak to anyone because the phone line goes to a dead end”

“This company is definitely a scam we paid £56.50 upfront for a taxi which didn’t collect us from a wedding reception. Absolutely disgraceful. They said they would refund us but two weeks later still no refund. We couldn’t get in touch by phone.”

“This company is a scam. I made a booking for a number of people and luggages via their website. A few hours later they called me to tell me that I had to pay an additional £20 to have a vehicle big enough for what I had booked. I told them it was not acceptable and they hung up after arguing. When I tried to call them to cancel the booking, their automated message said to leave a message so they woul call me back, which they never did. I managed to cancel the booking through their App but then I can see from the terms and conditions that they won't refund anything. I have therefore raised a dispute through my bank. Stay away from those thieves!!!”

“Tried to change our taxi to a basic car after paying extra £50 for an executive car,offered us £15 discount Then wanted to collect us 30 mins early from a concert, I complained so they cancelled our booking without telling us”

“Awful company. Took payment of £93.50 straight away and gave details of the taxi firm they had so say booked with. I call taxi firm to confirm with them and they had never heard of them. I then looked at reviews and asked Taxicode for a refund as they obviously hadn't made a booking and had a habit of not turning up. They said they would issue a 10% refund! Luckily I paid through paypal so raised a dispute and sent paypal the link to the reviews and they found in my favour and refunded. This was after Taxicode pushed me to accept their cancellation (so that they could say I cancelled and give me 10% refund) and also said that they could not refund while the dispute was open, which is not true. If you have paid with paypal dispute it, the more people that complain about them the better!”

“TaxiCode, Taxi Comparison etc and many more names are all part of Web3r and they are an absolute con & rip off. For every online booking they take they charge the customer £1.50 and the taxi firm £1.50 for a text message (SMS) £3 in total, taxi firms have never received a text message from them. Taxicode lie and tell each party how much is being paid. In the photo bellow you can see Taxicode told the Taxi firm that the customer paid £26.39 when the customer really paid £32.50. From the £32.50 paid by the customer the Taxi company was paid £21.64 and Taxicode pocketed 33.4% of the fare EVEN though they are charging Taxi firms a monthly subscription fee. Taxicode should be avoided at all cost and Google should take these ripoff merchants offline.”

“Absolute disgrace!!! I pre booked for 10 passengers to collect us from Folkestone Station, only to find out that the taxis had been cancelled without my knowledge. We were left stranded for over an hour because it was peak school rush hour and no taxis available. The company took my money and haven't yet refunded it. Probably won't see the cash again! This scam company should not be allowed to rip off innocent people! I wish I listened to all the negative reviews!”

“This is a complete scam. All they do is book via an actual taxi company for a lower fee, and keep the difference. I had to cancel a booking I've made 5 minutes after making it, before a driver has been allocated, and they took 90% of the original booking cost as cancellation fee, without any warning. I made the mistake of booking through this website without checking the reviews online. Don't make the same mistake I've made.”
