“Complete scam ordered a taxi for 1:15am on a Tuesday. Revived an email at 12:30 saying the taxi had been cancelled and I would be refunded. 8 days later the money has still not been returned. They are still yet to reply to the two emails that I have sent”

“Still waiting for my refund after 7 days, they took the booking for a Saturday evening, they cancelled at late notice, fortunately we found a cheaper company who could do our trip.”

“Company cancelled our taxi the day before we were due to be collected. in spite of being contacted twice have not refunded my money this is contrary to their guarantee of refund within 3 to 5 working days. Have been well and truly conned !Do not use this company and only gave 1 star to access this forum !”

“yup, i got scammed to. Should have looked up their reputation before engaging. How are these crooks getting away with this? Shouldn't the police be involved since what they're dealing is theft.”

“No stars at all for these crooks! I booked a taxi for 1:15 pm the next day for an airport journey. As a visitor I didnt know the exact postcode so chose the centre of town which is exactly where I was! £42.50 inc 1.50 for confirmation sms which was never received. Half hour later they call to say they have to make it 30 mins earlier due to shift changes. I accepted even though I wasn’t keen. Another hour goes by and I get another call . I need to pay 10£ cash to the driver as my journey is longer based on my actual postcode which I had to google for them. I disagreed so he tried to barter , eventually saying “ don’t worry , I’ll waive it “ The next day, another call …another £8 demand . He tries to tell me the journey is 24 miles. I told him I was going to report the company to fair trade as scammers and suggested I had already checked the route with the exact address twice . Once the night before £40 - cheaper than I paid ! And the next morning £42. Both less than 20 miles of travel according to their app! I sent them screen shots after asking them for, and being refused a refund. Mysteriously ,a couple hours later, I received an email to say they cancelled the taxi and I’d get a refund. Still waiting on that.”

“Don’t trust this bunch of crooks! Auto cancelled by them at last minute after taking my money and confirming 8 days prior … gave me opportunity to book with alternative service provider and they took more money then allocated me a different taxi from one I booked - the same one that auto cancelled me as couldn’t provide service. No refund when I said that was unacceptable as couldn’t be left stranded without lift!! Hideous to deal with and simply no ethics.”

“DO NOT USE. booked a taxi at 15.30 for 22.30 that night. They took the money and cancelled the taxi at 22.00. I phoned the taxi company who were supposed to be collecting me and they said they informed taxicode at the time of booking they could not do it!! (They are a scam booking agent who take money before they have arranged a taxi company to provide the service) 2 weeks later still have not recieved a refund!!”

“It should really be ZERO STARS Booked a taxi with Taxicode for the following morning for hospital appointments cancer department Got an email from them @ 2.50 am to say taxi cancelled no reason given Only noticed the email when checking phone was charged Terrible service would not use and and certainly wouldn’t recommend Fortunately paid with PayPal who will cover the money if it’s not refunded”

“If I could give 0 stars I would! Booked taxi while in York, quote was £22.50. As we are not from area we were unaware of average cost. They cancelled booking 10 minutes before the taxi was due. They deducted the £22.50 from my bank 1 week later and it has still not been refunded 3 weeks later. To make it worse when we called a taxi company the cost for the trip was under £12. They are ripping people off, charging double, taking payment for a service they cancelled and no contact number to phone and complain. I am waiting for a reply to an email and if not refunded will be putting a complaint to trading standards. Do not use this company, call a local taxi company.”

“Taxi booked for 4 am cancelled by email at 3:30. This was 2 weeks ago, no refund given even though cancellation email says refund would be processed in 3-5 days. They are ignoring emails.”

“I'm not sure how to put 0 here so I did 1. Scammers, they cancelled trip on the same day and no refunds after all. No customer service = they close my query on refund. I thought I was only one with no luck, but there are more people scammed now:( My reference number:TCF16DB658318 It's over 2 weeks now and no money back. BEWARE.”

“Avoid booking with this company. Entered the correct information online for a taxi and paid the amount as shown. On receiving the confirmation email we noticed there was an error they quoted our journey as being for 8 miles when in fact it was more like 14 miles. We rang them to say there was an error and they said we would have to pay at least £40 more, erwe said we needed to cancel as we couldn’t afford the extra amount and that it was their error and not ours so we wanted a refund. We sent numerous emails and made phone calls in regard to this error needless to say we still haven’t received our refund and it’s now almost 4 weeks so it’s not likely to happen. Avoid this company at all costs that’s my advice.”

“PLEASE BEWARE. This is not a cab company. This company sub contracts the jobs out. Its a broker. If you have to cancel for any reason you will not get your money back ! I booked a cab and on the same day I had to cancel last minute due to a medical emergency (86 year old step father) and I couldn't get hold of anyone (probably because they work out of a shed in someone's garden). The job was booked for the next day. Luckily I got hold of the company they sub contract to and managed to cancel the job and they assured me they won't be charging me. Taxicode are refusing to refund me. They have £200 of my money for doing absolutely nothing. I have reported them to TFL and Hackney Carriages.”

“Do not use this company! I’m still waiting for my refund after two weeks. When I first booked my taxi I was assured they would have a driver for me as I was quite sceptical as it was a Sunday and there were no other taxis available. 30 mins before I was supposed to be fetched my taxi was cancelled and I was emailed that I would received a refund within 5 days. 9 days later I still hadn’t received a refund and when I called in I was told it would definitely be within the next 3-5 working days. It’s been 17days and I have still not been refunded. I don’t have the money to throw away like this.”

“Horrendous company. Booked to get picked up on a Saturday morning, mistakenly booked the Friday, 30 seconds later i called back and they tried to charge me £10 for the amendment. In the end i had to cancel as the night that i was attending was called off due to Boris pushing back "freedom day" from 21st June to 16th July and they are only refunding 55% of a £75 charge. Absolute thieves. avoid! avoid! avoid!”
