“Taxicode let me and 13 of my friends down for a double birthday event. They cancelled the minibus at 7pm the night before, having booked it weeks in advance. They were due to take us on a return journey 11.30am the next morning to a music event. The cancellation caused much stress and expense and i would heavily reccomended you use a local, reliable taxi service than this app. It is nothing but a scam. I wish i could give them zero stars.”

After Booking and paying full money,i got email,that No driver assigned and Journey not confirmed,it took me 10days to get email confirmation after several call,Driver number i just received on the day of journey,how scary it was,and it was 4.5hrs journey with uncertaininty,the moment i paid,i realised i fall in trap.driver was 2hrs late,very Robotic,i have not MPV,3luggage was booked,i could take only 1luggae and 2small hand bag ,and it was a Saloon Prius,with No AC working,Car condition was too bad,it was bad for my kids,they suffered,and journey finished at 6hrs.Driver did not helped for 1second to hold luggage,Terrible taxi service ,i will remember in life time,My suggestion,NEVER EVER BOOK TAXI CODE,IT WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL,THE MOMENT YOU PAID THEM.so in summary- i have got Lots of headache and uncertainity, Driver 2hrs late ,No AC in car,bad condition Small saloon car instead of MPV 5seater which i had booked for 3luggage and Unfriendly Driver,and you will not find anybody to talk.”

Absolutely terrible money grabbing company.
Booked for a journey and due to the 'pending' awaiting driver assignment status I cancelled my booking quite quickly after making it.
If they can take the cash right away they should have the booking 100% confirmed.
Customer services is in Amsterdam and can only quote 'our terms and conditions state'.

“Used them to transport personnel to work, they didn't collect them! When I called the they offer taxi in two hours, and I had to used Ubers to get people back home after long day at work. Refused to refund for back trip. Next day they did cancelled Van at 5.40am! Again, my workers used Ubers and were late to work. Very unhelpful over the phone, and they even hanged up on me. Very rude, and unprofessional. I will never use them again!”

Don’t use Taxicode! Super expensive and if you need to cancel the booking they will not refund you your upfront payment!
I booked a ride from the airport into London and requested child seats. They took the booking and charged me £110. I then called the designated cab company and they couldn’t actually provide child seats. We agreed to cancel the booking and they said they should have not accepted the booking given they couldn’t fulfil the child seat request. I then found a black cab who took us home for £60!
Taxicode however will not refund me the £110 payment as they claim that the mini cab company lost out on a ride and so they have to get paid. I spoke to the cab company again and they didn’t miss out on anything and didn’t get paid by Taxicode! Scam!”
“They have just conned me out of almost £300. I pre booked x3 journeys, they first allocated it to 'A1 Taxis' who subsequently were 'unable' to take the job on, two days later still no alternative found so I found an taxi company and cancelled with Taxicode expecting a refund !!
When I delved further, even the taxi company 'A1 Taxis' never even existed.”
“From my experience and from reading subsequent reviews this company appears to have been set up to scam people and should be avoided at all costs!
I had a booking made for a wedding, a few days before I noticed that whilst my money had been taken the booking still showed as unconfirmed awaiting driver to be allocated.
I phoned the company on each of the next 3 days (a lot of the time they wont pick up!) and was given various stories but at each time they said they could see that my booking was really confirmed and there was nothing to worry about. The stories I was told included that the email confirmation had been sent but was held up by their servers!
On the day of the wedding I phoned again and was told again confirmation would be on its way and nothing to worry about. At this point I decided to just phone the taxi company who were meant to have accepted my booking and were supposedly allocating a driver. The company said no they had not accepted the booking or even been asked, and indeed this was really too far to come so they wouldn't accept it anyway if they were asked!
They also provided further helpful advise that taxicode are a con, and that they would wait till the last minute to cancel my journey, hoping that I would cancel first as the cancellation fee is so high. They then said don't cancel the booking but make alternate arrangements.
At this point it was hard to find another company and I had to pay a company from a long way away a premium to drive into the area and drop us off. But at the same time I was wary I would have two taxis arriving! Of course as advised a couple of hours before pick up I got the cancellation email from taxicode!
I assume they accept these bookings and then lie to people hoping they will panic and cancel the taxi so they can keep the fee with their extortionate cancellation policies!”

This company is a disgrace and do not deserve your business. Their cancellation policy only lines their pockets. I rang less than 24 hours before and asked if I had a driver allocated yet otherwise I would need to find alternate travel arrangements, they replied no still no driver. They expect you to keep a booking when they haven’t allocated a driver??? then punish you when you cancel. £200 + down which I can’t afford and no refund. The cancellation policy is a disgrace if they had no driver. They have no one to pay? Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT USE THEM”
“Horrible company ! Booked airport pick up 10 hours in advance. Booking was confirmed and payment has been charged on my card. After arrival to the airport at 11 pm with 2 kids I found out that we have NO taxi waiting and cancellation email was sent to me just one hour before landing while on flight and unaware about trouble. Took me 20 minutes looking for our driver before finally realising I have received an email from them.”

“Worst company ever. Booked minibus for bridal party over 1 months before wedding. Paid in full. Got emailed 2 days before wedding to my work email saying they cannot fulfil requirements. No phone call nothing. It was a good job work colleagues checked my email or I would have never know. DO NOT USE!”

“Have had a mini bus booked for 3 weeks now for an event for my birthday and they have just cancelled it with less than 2 days to go.
Called a few times to speak to an advisor and nothing, had also had a query about my journey which I had spoken to someone about earlier in the week (to stop round the corner 1 mile away) and they wanted another £110! Absolute scam of a company.
Had the audacity to send me a £5 voucher for next time but safe to say I will not use them again.
