That took full payment at booking then cancelled 2 hrs prior to pick up , 2 days later I'm still waiting for a refund

From my experience and from reading subsequent reviews this company appears to have been set up to scam people and should be avoided at all costs! I had a booking made for a wedding, a few days before I noticed that whilst my money had been taken the booking still showed as unconfirmed awaiting driver to be allocated. I phoned the company on each of the next 3 days (a lot of the time they wont pick up!) and was given various stories but at each time they said they could see that my booking was really confirmed and there was nothing to worry about. The stories I was told included that the email confirmation had been sent but was held up by their servers! On the day of the wedding I phoned again and was told again confirmation would be on its way and nothing to worry about. At this point I decided to just phone the taxi company who were meant to have accepted my booking and were supposedly allocating a driver. The company said no they had not accepted the booking or even been asked, and indeed this was really too far to come so they wouldn't accept it anyway if they were asked! They also provided further helpful advise that taxicode are a con, and that they would wait till the last minute to cancel my journey, hoping that I would cancel first as the cancellation fee is so high. They then said don't cancel the booking but make alternate arrangements. At this point it was hard to find another company and I had to pay a company from a long way away a premium to drive into the area and drop us off. But at the same time I was wary I would have two taxis arriving! Of course as advised a couple of hours before pick up I got the cancellation email from taxicode! I assume they accept these bookings and then lie to people hoping they will panic and cancel the taxi so they can keep the fee with their extortionate cancellation policies!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! This company is a disgrace and do not deserve your business. Their cancellation policy only lines their pockets. I rang less than 24 hours before and asked if I had a driver allocated yet otherwise I would need to find alternate travel arrangements, they replied no still no driver. They expect you to keep a booking when they haven’t allocated a driver??? then punish you when you cancel. £200 + down which I can’t afford and no refund. The cancellation policy is a disgrace if they had no driver. They have no one to pay? Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT USE THEM

Horrible company ! Booked airport pick up 10 hours in advance. Booking was confirmed and payment has been charged on my card. After arrival to the airport at 11 pm with 2 kids I found out that we have NO taxi waiting and cancellation email was sent to me just one hour before landing while on flight and unaware about trouble. Took me 20 minutes looking for our driver before finally realising I have received an email from them.

Clearly a SCAM company that profits by cancelling / not accepting cancellations. Not possible to contact their 'dedicated help number' / emails not replied to. Dispute through PayPal and complain until this company is forced out of business.

Worst company ever. Booked minibus for bridal party over 1 months before wedding. Paid in full. Got emailed 2 days before wedding to my work email saying they cannot fulfil requirements. No phone call nothing. It was a good job work colleagues checked my email or I would have never know. DO NOT USE!

Ordered a cab, cancelled it quite quickly, cost me £67.50, had a confirmation refund email, then refunded me 10% £6.75!!! its their policy, scammers.....

Have had a mini bus booked for 3 weeks now for an event for my birthday and they have just cancelled it with less than 2 days to go. Called a few times to speak to an advisor and nothing, had also had a query about my journey which I had spoken to someone about earlier in the week (to stop round the corner 1 mile away) and they wanted another £110! Absolute scam of a company. Had the audacity to send me a £5 voucher for next time but safe to say I will not use them again. Disgraceful customer services

Scam company! I’m devastated that I fell for it. Booked via the website, paid £280 for a minibus. They took my money, never confirmed booking, never showed up. Uncontactable every day before taxi was due. Finally reached their call centre the following week, spoke to an abusive phone operator. Scam company now being investigated by bank. AVOID

SCAM COMPANY - cancelled 30mins before appointment leaving me and my elderly mother stranded in bad weather. Booked a taxi with this company to get home from a remote event I was attending with my elderly mother. I booked a taxi via this company for 22.45 at an event where there was no other transport options. The fee was 2x what it should normally cost but I was willing to pay to ensure we would get home safely. Was even charged a £10 admin fee to change the booking when they got the date wrong! They cancelled 30 mins before the appointment leaving me with no back up options in a potentially dangerous situation for my mother. Do not use this company!!

My main issue is that you quoted £95 for the fare online. I accepted this fare and paid for it. 24 hours before the booking you then stated that it was a mistake and I had to pay £15 more. Given your 90% cancellation fee I had to accept this further charge. I would not have booked with you if the true final cost of the fare had been given to me when I originally booked. I discussed this with you and you were unable to come to any arrangement for this.

Same as most other experiences. Booked well in advance for a minibus for a weeding reception pick up. Never got the second confirmation email so rang them and they confirmed it was booked for that evening. 30 minutes later got a cancellation email leaving 9 of us stuck at the reception. The excuse was a flat tyre but you would think they could fix that in the eight hours before pickup. Awful service but at least the credit card refund was fairly quick. To be avoided and any companies forwarding bookings to them should stop as it ruins their reputation as well.

The worst company for taxi bookings. I booked 9 days prior to needed, 4 days later the booking still was not confirmed, I tried to cancel to be told I would only get £19 of my £190 booking back. 10 days cancellation period at 10% refund is ridiculous and very unfair. Since read their reviews to find that they quite often cancel last minute or don't show so have lost the £170 and will never use this company again! Very angry

Not sure where to begin with these thieves. Got a quote for £670 for a mini bus on a weekend away, paid £134 deposit and sat with an "awaiting review" status, so basically nothing had been done. After a week found an alternative cheaper and cancelled the booking still "awaiting review" and "driver unconfirmed" Then my credit card gets billed again, this time £167 after cancellation. The 'terms and conditions' are that if you cancel you pay 45% of the total booking, yes 45% of £670 for doing absolutely nothing at all. Not even 45% of your deposit. This company is registered as a computer company, banks in Amsterdam, call centre in some far flung Asian country!! Beware, its a total rip off!!!!

Booked mini bus for 8 people for £65 to return from wedding reception 4 days before event. Received an email just before leaving to attend wedding to say it had been cancelled. 😡 tried rebooking again and got a confirmed booking for £87. This then got cancelled when we were at the wedding 🤬 contacted them and were told by a customer service chap that our booking WAS confirmed and assured us a minibus would be there at designated time. Needless to say that also got cancelled just before it was required 🤬🤬🤬 DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE!!!! RUINED OUR DAY!!!

100% would not recommend them to anyone! I booked a minibus 2 and a half weeks ago, had £250 taken from my account promptly only to get an email this morning to say my booking had been cancelled 2 days prior to the event I’m attending! On top of that I have to wait between 3-5 working days for the money to be credited back into my account! Absolutely appalling! No one will answer my calls and I have had no email reply either. Although they offered the lowest price at the time of booking, for future, I would rather pay more and know I will be offered a reliable service! Their website still say they have availability although I have been told they are fully booked meaning more people will end up disappointed for sure! Terrible, terrible, terrible and I recommend you avoid it at all costs! They shouldn’t have taken my money in the first place if they knew they wouldn’t be able to fulfill the booking. Super disappointed!!!

This company promises lots but does not live up to them. I booked a taxi with 10 days notice and the day before I get an email cancelling the booking. This, despite the firm promising to find alternatives if the chosen company could not fulfil the booking. Why anyone should trust this company is beyond me. A complete and utter wast of time. You’d be better off simply burning a couple of ten pound notes. Never again.

Like others, I pre-booked taxi's a week ahead, I was going to a wedding in a small village and wanted to be sure I would have transport there and back. They took my money and cancelled both the bookings, each one a couple of hours before I needed the taxi, I then ended up booking a taxi from the next town for a 2 mile journey that ended up costing me over £50! I was able to share somebody else's cab on the way back....complete scam!

We booked a trip for the airport from a small town for 3:30 am Sunday for a very early flight. We received an email confirming the payment and the booking, but have not received the driver confirmation email. Fearing that they will just cancel last minute, we phoned the customer service. We had to call twice before our call was picked up, at 5pm Saturday. The line was very bad with loads of background noise. The customer service said not to worry, that they have already found a driver, and that they will send a confirmation email within a couple of hours. After returning back from dinner later that evening, we checked the email again, but the confirmation email still hadn't come through. We phoned again, but we could not get through (this was between 9 and 10 pm on Saturday). As they said they found a driver earlier, we went to sleep. When we woke up, we found a cancellation email that was sent at 2am, saying they couldn't find a driver. By sheer luck, we were able to find someone to drive us to the airport on time. If I book a taxi ahead, it's because I want to be sure that it's going to be available and on time. Especially during a pandemic with scarce flights, we would have been in a very bad situation had we missed the flight. I do not know if they outright lied, or if they had someone cancel on them, but as we never received a written confirmation, I am inclined to believe that they just lied to a customer. They did not provide the service needed.
