Taxi booked and paid for - or so I thought until stood there with 19 other members of my party waiting for taxis to appear at 23.30 on a Saturday evening only to look at my emails to see that at 19.31 that evening the booking I had been cancelled. Strangely whilst attending my husbands birthday party I did not look at my emails until I realised that the taxis to take everyone home from the venue weren't just late but not arriving. Beyond furious no taxis in the area to get for at least 2 hours and having to resort to wake people up and asking favours to do shuttle runs to move people. Ruined a great evening and now I wait for 3 days for a refund. Absolutely disgusted, furious and embarrassed do not touch with a barge pole.”
“Taxicode.com is scamming site. I just booked a car with them and paid £92.00 (that's what they quoted me), then I received an email from them asking for additional £25.00. I asked to cancel my booking, but got an email about creating a ticket and god knows when I will get my money back from them. Meanwhile I have to use more reliable company to book my trip in one and a half day. Avoid them!!!”
“Joke of a company! Been ringing all week for confirming of booking, every time I was told that we had a driver and that it was confirmed. That is until less than 12 hours before we were meant to be picked up, I received an email cancelling the booking! Do not book with them if you actually want them to turn up!”

I booked a taxi 3.5 weeks ago for a wedding knowing there was likely to be a lot of guests doing the same, all confirmed fine. Then 2 days before the wedding I get a cancellation.
I rang customer services who were extremely unhelpful, said there was no taxis available even though their website was still giving the option to book a taxi….but for £20 more than It was 3 weeks ago. They refused to help, told me to find somewhere else. I asked to speak with the manager and ofcourse he claimed he was… and then he hung up.
POOR doesn’t come close.”
“Absolutely useless! They don't pick up the phone lines or emails. It's definitely fraudulent. Change your bank details people because this company will charge you money without any form of communication. I lost £45 deposit out of £260. I emailed them 2 days ago to double check my trip thats coming up in a few days. I had a bad feeling about this company and I'm glad I checked the reviews again so I reported them to my bank as fraud after not hearing back after 48 hours. They still tried to take the remainder of the balance. Pure scammers they can go to hell!”
“Simply don’t refund when it is policy to do so, their fault for cancelling and promised to process the refund (twice). Still waiting nearly three weeks later.

“This company should be investigated. They factor in keeping the booking fares of trips that they cancel by simply not refunding the client. They do this by initially stating that they will process the refund, and then don’t. Relying on the client becoming so frustrated that they eventually give-up; not knowing what recourse there is.
Many clients have had the same experience and it is believed that many ‘positive’ reviews on Trustpilot, are in fact false.

“Taxi Cide have effectively STOLEN £47 from my account after no processing my refund for 21 working days. There supposed policy is that refunds will be processed between 3 - 5 working days.
Taxi Code cancelled my booking due to availability, which is fair enough. What isn’t right is that I should have to spend so much time emailing, phoning etc. with no response to my emails and no follow through from my calls despite promises. No accountability.

“Absolute scammers. Even cancelling a month in advance you only get 50% of the upfront fee refunded. Got 10% refunded from a very expensive up front taxi that I had to cancel 10 days in advance. Terrible service, outrageous cancellation policy and you can’t speak to anyone because the phone line goes to a dead end”
“This company is definitely a scam we paid £56.50 upfront for a taxi which didn’t collect us from a wedding reception. Absolutely disgraceful. They said they would refund us but two weeks later still no refund. We couldn’t get in touch by phone.”
“This company is a scam. I made a booking for a number of people and luggages via their website. A few hours later they called me to tell me that I had to pay an additional £20 to have a vehicle big enough for what I had booked. I told them it was not acceptable and they hung up after arguing. When I tried to call them to cancel the booking, their automated message said to leave a message so they woul call me back, which they never did. I managed to cancel the booking through their App but then I can see from the terms and conditions that they won't refund anything. I have therefore raised a dispute through my bank.
Stay away from those thieves!!!”
