“Wish I had read the reviews before booking. By the time they cancelled the booking I was unable to find an alternative, so wasted a huge amount of time and money (if we'd known we were going to have to drive ourselves home, we wouldn't have booked a hotel for the family wedding). So fed up and disappointed.”

“Ridiculous company!! Booked, and had cancelled over 10 minibuses from different companies over the course of 2 weeks. On the day that I had booked the minibus for (I had 2booked for a hen do), I phoned to confirm they will still coming. An hour later - no show followed by a cancelled email. Still waiting on all the refunds to be processed Furious!!!!!”

“Can't believe how bad this company is. I booked then send them an email asking if they find a driver for me to which they said yes. 4 hours before departure, booking is cancelled. 0 star”

“Should be seriously investigated. Fraud. Same story as everyone else here . Taxi cancelled last minute for no reason, only communicated by email. Trying to stop the payment going out to them.. refund sounds seriously unlikely”

“COMPLETE SCAM. They cancelled my booking of a minibus for 8 people at 1am on the day. It was booked for 11am! I had to pay £180 upfront and a month later I am still waiting for a refund. When you call to ask for a refund, they say “yeah no problem”. Then when you call back you find that your number has been blocked or something because they no longer answer… meaning I have been using friends phones etc to call them just to get through.”

“Not even 1 star disgusting. Taxi booked and paid for - or so I thought until stood there with 19 other members of my party waiting for taxis to appear at 23.30 on a Saturday evening only to look at my emails to see that at 19.31 that evening the booking I had been cancelled. Strangely whilst attending my husbands birthday party I did not look at my emails until I realised that the taxis to take everyone home from the venue weren't just late but not arriving. Beyond furious no taxis in the area to get for at least 2 hours and having to resort to wake people up and asking favours to do shuttle runs to move people. Ruined a great evening and now I wait for 3 days for a refund. Absolutely disgusted, furious and embarrassed do not touch with a barge pole.”

“Taxicode.com is scamming site. I just booked a car with them and paid £92.00 (that's what they quoted me), then I received an email from them asking for additional £25.00. I asked to cancel my booking, but got an email about creating a ticket and god knows when I will get my money back from them. Meanwhile I have to use more reliable company to book my trip in one and a half day. Avoid them!!!”

“Joke of a company! Been ringing all week for confirming of booking, every time I was told that we had a driver and that it was confirmed. That is until less than 12 hours before we were meant to be picked up, I received an email cancelling the booking! Do not book with them if you actually want them to turn up!”

“Scammers! Do not use! When we called to chase our booking AFTER they had withdrawn £160 from our card, aslurred sooech ‘advisor’ (after 45 mins of not answering) advised…”we will email you within 10 mins”… nonsense. Scam scam scam”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked a taxi 3.5 weeks ago for a wedding knowing there was likely to be a lot of guests doing the same, all confirmed fine. Then 2 days before the wedding I get a cancellation. I rang customer services who were extremely unhelpful, said there was no taxis available even though their website was still giving the option to book a taxi….but for £20 more than It was 3 weeks ago. They refused to help, told me to find somewhere else. I asked to speak with the manager and ofcourse he claimed he was… and then he hung up. POOR doesn’t come close.”

“Absolutely useless! They don't pick up the phone lines or emails. It's definitely fraudulent. Change your bank details people because this company will charge you money without any form of communication. I lost £45 deposit out of £260. I emailed them 2 days ago to double check my trip thats coming up in a few days. I had a bad feeling about this company and I'm glad I checked the reviews again so I reported them to my bank as fraud after not hearing back after 48 hours. They still tried to take the remainder of the balance. Pure scammers they can go to hell!”

“Simply don’t refund when it is policy to do so, their fault for cancelling and promised to process the refund (twice). Still waiting nearly three weeks later. No response to emails or tickets generated on their site.”

“This company should be investigated. They factor in keeping the booking fares of trips that they cancel by simply not refunding the client. They do this by initially stating that they will process the refund, and then don’t. Relying on the client becoming so frustrated that they eventually give-up; not knowing what recourse there is. Many clients have had the same experience and it is believed that many ‘positive’ reviews on Trustpilot, are in fact false. Avoid this company!!!!”

“We booked a taxi for six and at 11.15 pm - 45 minutes before they were due to collect us - they emailed to cancel - that was over two weeks ago and despite me emailing and calling I have not been refunded the £60 I paid - seems like a scam company to me - DO NOT USE”

“I have tried to get hold of this company since yesterday when they cancelled two taxis that I had booked without a reason leaving us very stranded. We have then subsequently tried to get the third one cancelled for today and I have had absolutely no refunds. I would never recommend this company, you would do much better to call local much more honest taxi company’s”

“Taxi Cide have effectively STOLEN £47 from my account after no processing my refund for 21 working days. There supposed policy is that refunds will be processed between 3 - 5 working days. Taxi Code cancelled my booking due to availability, which is fair enough. What isn’t right is that I should have to spend so much time emailing, phoning etc. with no response to my emails and no follow through from my calls despite promises. No accountability. Avoid these sharks at all costs .”
