Avoid booking with this company. Entered the correct information online for a taxi and paid the amount as shown. On receiving the confirmation email we noticed there was an error they quoted our journey as being for 8 miles when in fact it was more like 14 miles. We rang them to say there was an error and they said we would have to pay at least £40 more, erwe said we needed to cancel as we couldn’t afford the extra amount and that it was their error and not ours so we wanted a refund. We sent numerous emails and made phone calls in regard to this error needless to say we still haven’t received our refund and it’s now almost 4 weeks so it’s not likely to happen. Avoid this company at all costs that’s my advice.

PLEASE BEWARE. This is not a cab company. This company sub contracts the jobs out. Its a broker. If you have to cancel for any reason you will not get your money back ! I booked a cab and on the same day I had to cancel last minute due to a medical emergency (86 year old step father) and I couldn't get hold of anyone (probably because they work out of a shed in someone's garden). The job was booked for the next day. Luckily I got hold of the company they sub contract to and managed to cancel the job and they assured me they won't be charging me. Taxicode are refusing to refund me. They have £200 of my money for doing absolutely nothing. I have reported them to TFL and Hackney Carriages.

Do not use this company! I’m still waiting for my refund after two weeks. When I first booked my taxi I was assured they would have a driver for me as I was quite sceptical as it was a Sunday and there were no other taxis available. 30 mins before I was supposed to be fetched my taxi was cancelled and I was emailed that I would received a refund within 5 days. 9 days later I still hadn’t received a refund and when I called in I was told it would definitely be within the next 3-5 working days. It’s been 17days and I have still not been refunded. I don’t have the money to throw away like this.

Horrendous company. Booked to get picked up on a Saturday morning, mistakenly booked the Friday, 30 seconds later i called back and they tried to charge me £10 for the amendment. In the end i had to cancel as the night that i was attending was called off due to Boris pushing back "freedom day" from 21st June to 16th July and they are only refunding 55% of a £75 charge. Absolute thieves. avoid! avoid! avoid!

Just avoid. Bookings just don't get fulfilled and trying to get your money back is even harder. Quite surprised they don't actually turn up on horseback. Complete scam run by cowboys.

Awful, do not use. I booked a taxi at 8am in the morning for an 11pm journey that night. They took full payment up front, sent an email confirmation of the booking but then sent another email to cancel just before the time the taxi was due. I could find no other transport and has to walk 6 miles home. Not great for a lone female.

AWFUL. Took money before service - I booked one taxi with incorrect time, so in order to change the time, I had to cancel that. Re-booked at the correct time, but ended up not needing it, so cancelled again. Sounds like a faff, but it really shouldn't be. They charged me £80(!!) and said some rubbish about a 48 hr cancellation policy on the phone, which is ridiculous. I booked and cancelled within maybe 2 hours max. Absolute scam. Very unhelpful.

Just as everyone else says, DO NOT USE, booked for an airport run this morning, only to find at 4am they cancelled. Had to book a local company at double the cost, but at least they actually showed up. Do not touch.

Absolutely awful company, will take your money then tell you trips cancelled at no notice. Took me eight calls and a month to get £250 back they took and this was due to me telling them I was about to involve police. Please stay away from this dodgy company.

I'd given them 0 out of 5 if I could! Wife booked 3 cars with them for a month's time, they told us they were taking a 20% deposit but then took full payment.. we ignored this and then later went to change some of the booking details and were informed by the "agent" that we would incur a 55% charge. Unbelievable con. Have tried to dispute the credit card charge so will see how that goes. DO NOT USE !!! Wish I had read the reviews on here first!

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered a taxi, was charged, it was cancelled by taxicode who said they'd issue a refund. 2 weeks later I'd not received one - raised a support ticket and was told it'd be dealt with as a priority and I'd hear something within 48 hours. That was 13 days ago and - despite constant chasing - I'm yet to receive so much as an update.

Utter scammers. Claimed to have allocated the job to a local firm who I then called to confirm some details with, and they said they NEVER dealt with them as they were awful. Called Taxicode to enquire, as it was an absolutely vital journey (for a wedding!) and they said they'd allocate it to someone else within the day. Two days later (nearly three weeks after booking) and the job was still not allocated. I - obviously - rang to cancel. Not only did they refuse to cancel, and refuse the deposit refund, they also said they would continue to charge my card for the journey despite them not having been able to provide the service. I have now had to cancel my card to prevent them defrauding me further. Avoid at ALL costs.

Please DO NOT use TAXICODE. As others have written - they need to be investigated by Trading Standards. My experience does not involve the drivers but the refund policy. My husband made a booking for two months time in error and he paid a 20% deposit by debit card. Within one hour I telephoned to cancel. I was told we would only receive a refund of 55%. I asked 55% of what and was told it was a percentage of the money already paid. I felt it was an outrageous amount but had to accept. I emailed immediately to express my outrage to the company. But worse was to happen - a further payment was taken from our bank account WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION because they were in fact taking 55% of the whole fare quoted. This is a disgraceful practice, they hide behind Terms and Conditions but at no point were these explained and we did not agree to them. We expected to pay a reasonable administration fee for a cancellation but feel £155 is totally unacceptable, in fact, we feel we have been scammed. We are very worried these people will try to take more money from our account. WARNING Please do not get involved with this booking agent - go directly to the drivers.

This company should not be used they cancel booking at the last minute then to get the refund is impossible. They should be stopped from trading, I am £108.00 our of pocket.

They charged me double what my journey would've cost with a normal company. They also charge to make any changes to your booking + the man I spoke to from customer services was TERRIBLY RUDE. Avoid this company at all costs. Disgusting really.

As per all the other negative reviews I’ll add to this too!! Same scenario and will report to Trading Standards. Paid my booking in advance for £26.50 they cancelled my booking 10 minutes before arranged pick up leaving me stranded. 3 weeks on am still chasing my refund being assured by phone and email that the refund has been made and will arrive in bank account in 3-5 working days. Yet to appear. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

DO. NOT. USE. THIS. COMPANY. I had booked a £200 taxi to Glasgow Airport from Fort William about 2 weeks in advance. Less than 24 hours before the trip, they sent an EMAIL cancellation - didn't even call, so I could easily have missed this. It's been 4 weeks and I still haven't got my promised refund. I've been calling up twice a week and keep being told to wait '3-5 days' but this company is such a scam. Wish I'd read up before I'd chucked £200 down the toilet.

Took full payment when I made the booking, didn't send a confirmation so I called - was reassured that all was fine at 6pm and 7pm, but then cancelled the booking at 10:10pm leaving us stranded and only offered £5 off the next trip. Do not use.

Sent an email at 2am to cancel my booking (an hour before I was due to be collected) which I had confirmed q few hours previously. I couldn't get another cab and missed my flight. Absolutely disgraceful and shameful treatment. And they've taken the money.
