Pits pits pits. Unreachable on their phones, when you choose the call me back option, they never call back. I'd never recommend it to anyone

There is extremely bad customer service Short ques. They serve one customer per hour. Waiting time was around 2hrs I was only customer waiting I will NEVER use their service again. I couldn't get adequate help on line , customer care and in store

My account has been suspended without my knowledge, requested to change account to a top up , went to the store i was not assisted consultant gave me a turn around time of 24hrs also advised if i pay the minimum amount my account will be clear to do a sim swop i did a payment and now account still suspended, when i call the customer care i always get a recording saying they will send me self service message to log a query. The service is horrible i must say i want to cancel my account with Telkom its so pathetic.

Telkom internet is just a bunch of bull shit. They get people to sign contracts for 2/3 years and give pathetic service. After not getting what has been offered, you are now bound in the contact and they seem to not give a shit. I had to pay for internet not being used for 3 months because of Telkom bull shit. We had moved premises and initially we were assured that moving the Fibre line would be free of charge, provided we had Fibre in the area. After 3 months of back and forth arguments, they finally decide to assist. No compensation or discount. Telkom Fibre especially is straight kak. Always issues with down time. If there were an option to rate Telkom negatively, I would definitely put it on a negative 5. The Fibre line is shit, as well as the customer service. My opinion, do not get Telkom fibre/internet, it will be the biggest regret of your life. Telkom should stick to landlines and nothing more.

Telkom places you under contracts without your knowledge. When you request for the call recordings to prove your case they come with lost of stories. RECORD ALL YOUR CALLS with telkom because what they tell you on the phone and claim later is two different things

I have a worst experience with the telkom insurance (admin plus) telkom canceled my insurance accounts due to non payment of a single month but it was later debited with two month in front but still my insurance was canceled, telkom has scammed me my money now they are sending me from pillar to post about reinstating minsurance or refunding me. Telkom scammed by using insurance, one of the telkom agent kept on making mediocre comments that telkom is not a bank

Telkom is the worst mobile company on the planet. They are stealing your money and refuse to even listen or do anything about it. I will be ending all services with Telkom. I am now almost weekly subscribed to value-added services. Services that ad R3pd to your Telkom account. This is without me doing anything to request or confirm that I want or need these services. I am in IT and know exactly what is going on, on my mobile phone. This is not by mistake or user error it is plain and simple theft. I will now see what options I have to accuse them in court. I will use Vodacom in future, because at least on a Vodacom account there is a setting to block all VAS services from your account.

I can't log a fault via a link, or the portal or an sms. None of it works. My landlines is down for a week now, no internet for a week cos I have ADSL, my internet was reported faulty on 25 Feb already. No response. I can't even call, cos I have no landline. What's the plan? Can anyone help?

Long fibre installment time. I applied for fibre line more than a month ago. Not yet installed. When I phoned its showing its already active.Frustrating. Bad service...

Really bad service and uneducated people working at Telkom. Every time we have to call Telkom its a misunderstanding or sorry we cant assist you. Its sad to see a company operating in that manner.

I got the worst service 😒 ever i called to blacklist my phone and they told me they'll send me itc number to date I haven't received anything and am told there's no record tht shows I called while every time they tell us the call is recorded and its available now they locked my phone and sim card am not able to open a case without the itc number and I must claim my insurance. How on earth am I gonna do that

Telkom by far the worst network ever especially fibre my fibre been down all day i phone consultants they rude do not knw when someone can come to my erea nd i must pay 1200 for that aswell. Im a business women i work from home this is pathetic

I would like lodge a complaint about an account for a 10Gb (Daytime) + 10Gb (Night-time) product that was sold to me on the 24th of May 2011. (Account 068 011 3863) This was sold and delivered to me with 2 sim cards. After receiving it I got a call from them and asked why I had received 2 sim cards, upon which they replied that it was for me to use in a second device. As I plugged this 1 sim card into my mobile device and used it, it did not seem to work for very long before the data ran out. I did bear with it for as long as possible but every time I connected to the device it would stop working soon after. In the new year I decided I had enough as I was paying for a data that lasted only 2 to 3 hours and this is not what I was looking for. Upon trying to get this cancelled I have since learned that I was sold 2 contracts, one of 1gb and one of 10gb + 10gb. Taking upon this I have paid for a contract for 7 Months and have not used a single mb as I only used the sim card that was used as NO instruction was given that the 2 sim cards are for 2 different contracts. One that I wanted and one that I have been charged for but did not request or order. Furthermore, as I cancelled this, the second account for 1gb was left and the first was removed so I can no longer use the 30GB (10 + 10 + 10 for 3 months carried over). Today they send me a bill for both accounts and when I check on the online portal the two have been cancelled on the normal portal, and one cancelled on the other Beta Portal. Then they charged me for another Payment Rejection fee which they decided to only add on in the last 2 days as I checked before I paid in January and have screenshots of outstanding with SMS’s of the outstanding and request to pay. Strangely enough yesterday when I checked on the portal it reflected the amount that was paid and today it does not reflect anything. I might have a screenshot of that as well, if not I do have the conversation with the consultant though it only works in favour of Telkom and no one else. Now they are expecting me to pay for 2 services that I no longer have for a month where I can not use them as they no longer exist or maybe do, who knows (depending on which portal you use) To try and get hold of them is virtually impossible and all mail has been stopped and I suspect this is because then their clients might have proof of any interactions. If they could please supply me with the mandate on this account (068 011 3863) with clear voice instruction where I was informed of this second account and what the 2 sim cards were for.

for the past 4 months they do not debit money from my account and they make it my problem. now my phone is suspended after I made contact and could not get through to the mobile department. left a message and no one contacted me, the next day they suspended my line. cannot wait to pay off the contract and cancel it. wouldn't recommend TELKOM to anyone and that 180 number they always say we should contact, you can never get anyone you can speak to there. I ended up contacting the 10210 number that is where the consultant said she will email mobile and let them contact me.

Please shut telkom down, telkom should not be in business. Telkom does not have the competence to operate a business in today's world . I am wasting my time writing this review anyway

Telkom is the worse service provider you can find. I am currently a customer of telkoms for the pass 5 years and I am counting the days for my contract to expire so I can never do business with such thieves. The staff they have seem to have not passed primary school as there maths is absolutely atrocious. They constantly over charging your account and you can never get the money they steal from your account back. I dont understand why such a terrible thieving company can be left to continue running, my opinion they should be shut down before they continue stealing from more of there customers. I have currently moved all my accounts to vodacom and mtn and its the best thing I could have ever done. When you with vodacom and mtn you really then start to realize how useless telkom really is and that you don't need to have such issues in your life. No more unnecessary phone calls for hours, and still not getting your money back, to get a telkom staff to help you after you sign a contract is the hardest, once they have your money they dont want to hear from you, both in the store as well as the call centre. The same person that messes your contract up can't sort out his mess, also watch out for false advertising. Something they pride themselves in. I just hope telkom will do All South Africans a favour and close down as we are a better country without Telkom, in sure majority of our citizens who have telkom contracts will second me when I say it.

People really need to start paying attention to reviews, it's given for a reason. Telkom is by far the worst ISP ever in life. They bill incorrectly, they never resolve queries. They charge for subscriptions you never signed up for. THIS IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM and SCAM of all, these subscription range from R200 to R390 a month, you have to investigate because they don't bother and even when you provide them with proof, they still refuse to rectify their ongoing fraud and theft of customers money. R200 x12 = R2400 a year that telkom steals from customers, multiply that by 1000 customers a month, that is Fre R2.4 million they getting for illegal subscriptions. I would not recommend them for anything contract related. Their good signal is the only good thing about their service. If someone can tell me when last anyone downloaded or had a need to download wallpapers for their phones. that is what their subscriptions are for.

Cut off three times by call centre person, tring to cancel a line. Almost inaudible first woman. Then a guy I could hear, but he cut me off. Then another woman I could hear, who cut me off -- or they send you to a survey! As bad as Eskom. Furious that I actually used them for so long.
