“I broke down 50 miles from home with my grandchildren with me, i rang the AA and a lovely man called Richard from Heysham came out to rescue us, he was kind enough to stay with us until a taxi arrived to take 7 of us home while he towed my vehicle. It took almost 3 hours, he gave us lots of reasurance and made us feel so safe. Such a fantastic service.”

“I had a terrible tyre burst in A2 this morning on my way to work I called AA and within 15 mins after speaking to them the recovery arrived.. He asked if we are ok.After fixing the car the mechanic waited for us to leave first. AA you are the best you handled the situation well..👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽”

“Audrina Daniel-Prince is a fantastic instructor. I passed my test on my first go and I attribute that to her teaching! If you are a nervous driver, have a tendency to overthink/ self doubt she will boost your confidence and get you where you need to be! A fun and calming influence - it was a pleasure to have such a lovely instructor- thanks so much!! :)”

“Yesterday Paul, from Hartlepool, came to assess my car's problem, when it started braking when it should have been accelerating! it was job no. 1898. He recognised the fault straight away, rang S.G.Petch in Darlington and asked me if I was confident enough to drive it to the garage, with him behind me all the way (he had done a temporary repair). I agreed to that, we got to the garage, left the car and I had a lift in the AA van home. As soon as we got back, he rang a hire company and organised a courtesy car for me, which arrived about 2hrs later. I cannot thank him enough, as I was initially very frightened by the way the car behaved. His kindness and good sense, added to his obvious skill stopped my stomach churning and helped me to relax. What a great guy! I have been a member of the AA for over 50 years and only called them twice, when my A40 car ran out of petrol on the M1 in 1971 and yesterday.”

“My exhaust came loose while on staycation in Co Wexford had driven up from Cork. It was nearly hanging off but within an hour the AA came to my rescue and fixed it and it would have been a disaster otherwise, They're brilliant and I greatly appreciate all their help today thanks so much 🤗 🤗”

“I accidentally cancelled my trip. Anyway, tried not to panic while I figured out what to do. Spoke on the phone with a really nice man (Chris) who helped me figure it out without overcharging me or making me re-book the entire trip. Great service”

“I had a flat tyre in June 2021. Easy contact via the AA website on my phone with live updates giving arrival time. Daniel arrived about an hour and 20 minutes later. Lovely young man, quickly replaced the flat tyre with my spare tyre and I was on my way. Very good experience. Only my second call out in 21 years, both for flat tyres, both extremely efficient and satisfactory.”

“I have only had one claim with the AA and that was a number of years ago. They we quick and efficiant sorting out the claim, getting the car fixed and providing a car while it was being fixed.”

“I've only had to call out the AA once, since I took out my policy. The gentleman arrived within about 40. He check my car to find the fault, drove with me to the garage and explained to them what the problem was. I was very satisfied with his help.”

“Nicholas arrived at the expected time to confirm my motorhome battery was dead-- there have been annoying non- start situations on many occasions on sites,having to ask for jump starts from fellow users.I was happy when my battery was replaced by Nicholas-- now we can enjoy more breaks without worries.”

“I have found the AA Insurance company unlike some of the others to be reliable and quick to send all the relevant documents through the post. Also when I notified them of a change of address they certainly did not rip me off with a £25 change of policy fee as I have experienced in the past with other insurers.Fortunately I have not had to claim anything as regards an accident or damage this year so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.But I am sure if there had been an issue they would have dealt with this efficiently.I did find their telephone manner to be polite and to the point also.”
