Dont go with them. They take ages to answer phones,and the patrol men are alot to be desired. Cheeky,moody. They lied about me being abusive to them, which I certainly did not. Due to the lies I have been banned from the aa. That's terrible. They treat customers like rubbish. Dont use them!!

Getting in touch with them was a nightmare was waiting over one and a half hours to finally get through. Policy itself is cheap but the extras come expensive.

Very hard to speak to any one, charge you for any changes which eventually makes the cost dearer than other companies. Would not use the AS again. I expect problems when my policy ends. Beware!!!

Probably one of the best car insurance provider I've had staff are very friendly and pull out the stops to keep me rolling on the road would highly recommend using aa for insurance and breakdown cover.

David rescued me when I had run out of petrol,having left my handbag elsewhere-and my husband had removed my "emergency money" from the car !!!! This was on 4.6.2021.He could not have been kinder and more professional.It was getting dark and I was still far from home after a long and difficult journey.THANK YOU SO MUCH,DAVID.Job no:10983

Very bad on timing, when I could I said the car was smoking can't be driven no need to send out a mechanic need a recovery truck, waited 3 hours middle of the road in in the cold at mid night on a un safe road very un happy they were very good on timing before very disappointed

Stay well away left me and my children in side of a busy a road then to get told not to ring them back they have passed me over to a local garage so they can’t help I need to ring them why join aa just let them use third party’s just sign up with one of there partners directly

I have breakdown cover for many years with the AA. Having the use of more than one car and like the fact if you are a passenger you are covered. My old car was a right Friday car and had to call them out 3 or 4 times within a Couple of months ever time first class service. Bit annoying that you have to stop do not automatically renew. When you start again much better price no reward for being loyal. But that said I really think they are good

When ringing staff are not very help full , changed Vehicle details paperwork still came through with old details on , tried telling them I don’t owe this vehicle any more, you would not think this was difficult information to sort out , wish I had just cancelled the policy 😡 not happy

Changed insurance provider this year due to Churchill increasing their premium by a fair amount. Went with AA as their cost was a lot cheaper. We have been insured with AA in the past and they declined our claim for a garden wall which fell down during a storm. They didn’t take the time to explain why. I don’t think we’ve claimed on our house insurance EVER ( 40 plus years). If you had asked at that time what we thought of AA my review would have been a lot different. RANT OVER!

They've owe me £300 for over 2 months and have stopped replying to my emails. If I owed them £300 they'd be all over it. Pretty disgraceful

Left sitting on a major dual carriage way for 4 hours with elderly parents and 2 children. My children were petrified. AA patrol van drove straight passed and then phone to say he wasn't dealing with it. After further 3 calls and on hold for ever no one new what was happening. Ended up being taken to a safe place in a police car. And then had to sit in the car on the back of a low loader tow truck who thankfully got us home. Mansfield recovery were amazing caring. Can't say that about the AA disgusting. 4 emergency service what a joke.

Tried to charge me £25 to swap my number plate. I’ve had a private plate for over 20 years and never paid to swap it before. I refused to pay the £25 and will take my business elsewhere. Rip off.
