“Been with the AA for years on the one time I need them after my car broke down an I had to push on my own to somebodys driveway in the torrential down pours last night I was told cause of my policy I had to pay another 49 pound before they would help. So no thanks. I always thought the customer was the member not the car you drive. Good job I was not hundreds miles away. My good friends towed me to safety. Fine tooth comb is needed for your AA policy as when you need them could cost you.”

“Just to rub salt into my wounds, after flattening my car battery in a shopping centre car park, by leaving my headlamps on. I was then accused of bribery by an AA van driver who was about 4 spaces and a car length away. He would have lost his job apparently. Sacked because he helped start up someone's car. What kind of shambles is this anyway. Stick yer AA and yer job where the sun don't shine.”

“Dont go with them. They take ages to answer phones,and the patrol men are alot to be desired. Cheeky,moody. They lied about me being abusive to them, which I certainly did not. Due to the lies I have been banned from the aa. That's terrible. They treat customers like rubbish. Dont use them!!”

“Very hard to speak to any one, charge you for any changes which eventually makes the cost dearer than other companies. Would not use the AS again. I expect problems when my policy ends. Beware!!!”

“Very bad on timing, when I could I said the car was smoking can't be driven no need to send out a mechanic need a recovery truck, waited 3 hours middle of the road in in the cold at mid night on a un safe road very un happy they were very good on timing before very disappointed”

“Stay well away left me and my children in side of a busy a road then to get told not to ring them back they have passed me over to a local garage so they can’t help I need to ring them why join aa just let them use third party’s just sign up with one of there partners directly”

“When ringing staff are not very help full , changed Vehicle details paperwork still came through with old details on , tried telling them I don’t owe this vehicle any more, you would not think this was difficult information to sort out , wish I had just cancelled the policy 😡 not happy”

“They've owe me £300 for over 2 months and have stopped replying to my emails. If I owed them £300 they'd be all over it. Pretty disgraceful”

“Left sitting on a major dual carriage way for 4 hours with elderly parents and 2 children. My children were petrified. AA patrol van drove straight passed and then phone to say he wasn't dealing with it. After further 3 calls and on hold for ever no one new what was happening. Ended up being taken to a safe place in a police car. And then had to sit in the car on the back of a low loader tow truck who thankfully got us home. Mansfield recovery were amazing caring. Can't say that about the AA disgusting. 4 emergency service what a joke.”

“Tried to charge me £25 to swap my number plate. I’ve had a private plate for over 20 years and never paid to swap it before. I refused to pay the £25 and will take my business elsewhere. Rip off.”

“The AA policy is to rip existing customers off. Quote last year £137.19. Quote this year £170.30. Went on Compare the Market and Confused. Accepted cheapest quote at £106.43 with Zenith. Emailed the AA to end insurance advising amount of new quote and that's when they offered a revised quote of £105.87, which is £64.43 lower than their quote. Too late buddy - gone with Zenith. What a rip-off”

“AA Insurance - three weeks after my accident I have been sent round and round in circles by AA insurance and the other two companies that underwrite AA insurance with my car still sitting outside waiting to be repaired. I have always had great service from AA breakdown cover and so for the last 2 years have used AA insurance for both my car and house - never again.”

“Over two hours to reach us. They sent a car repair company, whi hadn't got a clue. He was on Google trying to find where the fuse box was. Couldn't fix it, Told us to ring AA back.”

“I been wait to be recovered by the AA since half 4 this afternoon am at the bottom of North Wales am still waiting here there not getting here till half 1 in the morning it a 2 and a hour drive back to Manchester am sat in my van its freezing”

“Staff friendly but the first company to have charged me when cancelling an automatic renewal after the renewal date. I do this every year because I’m so disorganised, and insurers have always refunded in full. Not these swines - £44 for being insured by them for 8 days! Leaves one incredibly sour taste in the mouth and wouldn’t use them again now.”

“Class windscreen replacement as a non fault accident.???. Had to pay a increased premium. Majority of the other insurance companies don't charge or take a portion of the no claims discount.”

“I moved house and The AA wanted to charge me almost the same fee that I paid for the insurance for a year.... ridiculous. When I called them to clarify and negotiate, the customer service offered two options: To pay this unfair offer, or cancel the policy. I chose to cancel and contracted another company. Never again AA.”

“Bought house insurance But For some reason I had Break down cover I not got a car or any motor The cancelled my house insurance as the wasnt money in bank to pay both So mad 😡 so one day I couldn’t find my papers what I was covered for so Called up was talked to rudely by a man he put phone down on me called agsin talked to a lovely lady Really help full She told me my house insurance was cancelled as the wasnt enof money in bank at the time 😬got told she will pass it to the complaints department how you want to be contacted this x that I said phone call x I’m not happy she said ok it could be a few days I Waited for a phone call of the aa team but didn’t call me then yo get a letter this morning saying nothing can be done takes the Hiss in my eyes I’m Not even insurance for my house Called today talked to a feller rude ill mannered again is that aa talked rudely by men 🤔 My mind boggles how this could happen x nothing put right The best not call me up asking do I want this insurance as the will get told fumming isn’t the word I’m A single mother of six kids one is disabled I could cry 😭 But I’m not”

“The Olly Patrol replaced the battery and after that the radio wasn't working. Olly lied about his actions and denies it too. AA has let me down and now not ready to compensate for the Radio Damage nor for the stress and anxiety they have caused. I would not trust them. Make sure you check everything before the Patrol leaves otherwise you will end paying for the cost.”
