“Delicious--the medium was a bit on the mild side this year in terms of heat, but the flavor was (as always) exceptional. There is no other chile like the Hatch chile from New Mexico!”

“This is always high quality food packed properly. My wife wasn't a fan of tamales until she tried these. The prices seem a bit high until you try the food. Then it proves that you get what you pay for.”

“I ordered 2 day FedEx but actually received 8 days after order shipped, and had to dispose of the Chile Rellenos. Thank you Hatch Chile Store for refunding my money even though it was FEDEX that dropped the ball.”

“The product is fine. I will not be ordering again because of your astronomical price for shipping to Alaska! We are a hub for FedEx and UPS and I paid $76 to ship one small box! Wrong!”

Hello Cecelia! When it comes to shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, FedEx does charge quite a bit for shipping. Our shipping costs come directly from FedEx themselves. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do when it comes to these costs, and we do apologize for this. We are looking into what we can do to reduce these costs for customers located in these areas. “Have not really started making any recipes yet, but plan to. I think next time I will order whole instead of chopped. The delivery went well. Everything arrived sooner than expected. I have a lot 10 pounds to use, but will order again. The cost is high but Pay Pal was a helpful option.”

“My second order from the HatchChile Store was for a dozen chile rellenos and a dozen pork tamales. They all arrived in perfect condition due to the packaging and the dry ice. The tamales are excellent and very easy to prepare. I had good results with the suggested preparation approaches. I tried each of the three methods and I could not tell the difference in the results. Chile Rellenos made with Hatch chiles have been my favorite since the first one I had in El Paso in the late 1960s. I also tried the different methods recommended for preparation. By far, the best results was achieved using the air fry method. This produced a Relleno with a crisp shell, perfect for me. My results with the other suggested methods were not nearly as good as the air fry results. I highly recommend both the tamales and the rellenos. I also recommend the Hatch Chile Store for their prompt handling, excellent shipment preparation and delivery, and for their delicious products true to the New Mexico style of Tex-Mex food that I love. I selected free shipping on my two orders. My first order arrived in 4 days. The order rated above arrived in 3 days.”

“I used to live in New Mexico. One of the things I miss is the green chili. I'm back in heaven, now that I can get green chili delivered to my front door! The roasted green chili in a bottle is amazing.”

“We read reviews at Xmas and decided to send chile to our NM family now relocated in different states, as well as some to us! Wow, chile arrived quickly to all and still frozen. Flavorful and great flat packaging to store in freezer. Also, 1 gift “did not arrive” - goddaughter was in Mexico however, customer service amazing and resent. Wonderful company and fantastic products (including jars of products). Have since Xmas bought more and will in future! ¡Gracias por todo!”
