“Made an order July 28 and the items were shiped, did not recived them until Aug 8th way past 2-day shipping, not the fault of Hatch Chille store, my wife called and customer service was top notch placed another order promptly and we are anticipating waiting on new chilies to arrive soon”

“Half of the chiles were rotted and moldy. The box was wet and moldy too. Very disappointed. I spent 40 dollars to put it in the garbage.”

We guarantee freshness for all orders of 5lb boxes. How many chiles did you lose to spoilage/damage? Please send us photos of the chile that you received. “I am beyond satisfied with our order and I could not praise this company enough. The chile was high quality and arrived in great shape with minimal damage to the chiles. It’s amazing they fare so well being shipped all the way to the tip of Cape Cod! Already looking forward to ordering more!”

“Quick shipping and arrived fresh. I deducted 1 star because I ordered HOT and the peppers I received were no hotter than a bell pepper. Maybe a mistake. But I still love the chilies”

“Chilies came and when I opened the box, they were beautiful. Nice sized. Roasted them up right away and now they’re packaged up in the freezer awaiting their time to be used. Of course I had to sample a little to see if they were hot (gotta have the heat😁). Perfect.”

“I am very disappointed with the Hatch chili order this year! I paid over $47 for a shipment of a $50 order to ensure I received fresh, intact green chilis. That's over 87% of the value of the produce just to ship the product to me. When the box arrived it was wet and leaking. Twenty-seven (27) of the chilis we mushy to the point that I could not roast them. Several others we damaged and had to be trimmed to salvage a portion of the chili. I'll purchase my chilis from elsewhere next season!”

“Had some spoilage with my first order but the company handled it expeditiously and sent more than enough fresh chilis to account for spoilage and then some. Very easy process. Will order for sure again!!!”

“My experience with the Hatch Chile Store was great. My problem was with the USPS shipping. My order was shipped on Tuesday and did not arrive until Saturday but I paid for 2 day shipping. Box was partially open but only one Chile damaged and unusable.”

“The chiles that were usable were very good. I paid extra to have them delivered in two days and the chiles on the bottom of the box were crushed and spoiled. I was surprised there was not a produce pad to absob the juices from the crushed chiles. I was also surprised that the box remained intact since it looked like it would soon fall apart. We are probably too far away to have this shipped again. Wish we were closer. Overall, I was disappointed.”

“I did most of my growing up in Las Cruces. I currently live in Pennsylvania. I ordered a box of fresh Chile, they were huge pods!! I only lost three due to shipping (which I expected). I'll be ordering more soon!”
