“The were delivered in great condition! We picked up a few varieties of other pepper locally and put up 15 1/2pints of gourmet mustard~ yummy!!”

“My chilies arrived in good shape, there were only two that had gone bad. I think that’s not to bad since they came to Upstate NY from New Mexico. The flavor is exactly what I was expecting. Thank you for a wonderful product that reminds me of a wonderful 20 years in Arizona.”

“Received my order of fresh Hatch green peppers. Shipped across the country to the East Coast, they arrived in mint condition. The fresh smell when I opened the package was so very lovely. Didn't want to leave a review until I had tasted them, but I've cooked with them several times and roasted many for freezing. First roasting. They roast easily and the skin is easier to remove than grocery store peppers I have roasted. Probably because they are so fresh. I have frozen them in small zip lock bags with just the number of peppers I would need for a typical recipe. They froze well and the small bags make it easier to find a spot to put each in my crowded freezer. Next cooking and eating. So far I've made quesadillas, macaroni and cheese with peppers, and scalloped potatoes with peppers and onions. Each dish has been tasty. The peppers are flavorful rather than hot (I bought the mild ones.) with a bit of fruit knees and the fresh green smell would be overpowering except it is so good. Looking forward to making posole and corn chowder with peppers when it gets hotter. Will likely be making a good batch of esquites while corn is still in season. The peppers are versatile and full of flavor and it doesn't take much to add a punch of flavor to any dish. I will definitely be buying them again next season. I'd recommend that you do as well.”

“Out here in the Upper Mojave Desert of California we get NM green, generally from Hatch, here in the supermarkets during the harvest season. Problem is it is Hobson’s choice when it comes to heat and quality. Generally what we get out here is labeled hot or sometimes X-tra Hot and the heat is normally hot to medium. Our problem is my wife likes a much milder heat than I but she loves the flavor as much as me, a NM native. I hate having to skimp on the green chile just because it is too hot for her. This year, in addition to roasting and freezing 25lbs of the hot stuff from the local Stater Bros. we ordered a 25lb box of mild from the Hatch Chile Store. I was not too sure how that would work out in terms of unrefrigerated transport for but we gave it a shot. Cost was 106 total including two-day FedEx shipping. That is pretty expensive but not nearly as expensive as having to find a buy frozen chile out here. Well my friends the Hatch Chile Store hit it out of the ballpark. Chiles were perfect. Excellent, no spoilage or even signs of having sat around. I think I found two cut chiles in the entire box. Not only that, they are truly mild: just a bit of burn up in the stem end. I will be able to make her green chile stew all year with lots of chile flavor and then spice up my bowl with some good old HOT! LOL! So not one complaint from me. The steep price is fully accounted for by the excellent quality of the chiles and the speedy shipping. As you can see by my roaster I take this chile business seriously.”

“I am so impressed with Hatch Chile Store. My 10 pound order for fresh green chilies arrived 2nd day air with several chilies showing signs of spoiling. I emailed Hatch Chile Store with a couple of pictures and they responded immediately with an offer of refund or replacement for the spoiled chilies. I asked for replacement and they sent another 5 pounds, again 2nd day air and these arrived all in perfect condition! I also had to ask them to wait to send that replacement because we were going to be out of town for several days. They shipped when anticipated and we couldn't be happier. Plus, they sent a great video with tips on peeling the roasted chilies which made processing them much simpler! Great customer service and great product!”

“I received my first order today from the Hatch Chile Store. I grew up in NM and attended NMSU and must have Green in my freezer at all times. I currently live in NYC and have no source for the best chile in the world until I found The Hatch Chile Store. I am currently cooking up the first batch of green (15 minutes after delivery) and this is amazing (Smothered Burrito) Thank you for bringing NM into my NYC home.”

“Living in NC poses challenges to getting supplies for making Green Chile recipes for the winter. I just recived my 25 LBS of Hatch Chiles via 2 day shipping. Honestly, I was expecting a 5%-7% rotten chiles, but to my amazement 100% made it here in perfect condition. I immediately roasted the entire batch, peeled, bagged, and stored in the freezer. I am all set for the winter, and friends and family are going to enjoy Green Chile Chicken stew/soup all winter. I will definately order from the The Hatch Store from now on in the future. I am a real customer and give them a 10 out of 10 for quality product.”

“This is my fourth-year ordering with Hatch Chile Store. They have outstanding customer Service and take care of their customers. My Chile arrived fresh, and in excellent condition. Only one pepper was not so pretty, but the smell roasting it, and the flavor was excellent!!!! Who knows may need another box before season ends.”
