“I fell in love with Hatch green chiles when I lived in NM. I was very excited to find a company who shipped to Florida. The peppers arrived as advertised and on time. Some were damaged, I notified customer service and they worked quickly to send out replacements. The peppers roasted up beautifully and taste wonderful! I'll definitely order again next season.”

“I live in TX but was raised in NM. I cannot live without really good HOT chile. This is delicious!!!!. It came on time, was packed well and frozen when I received it. 10 ☆s!!!”

“Be very specific when you order or you may receive chili peppers that have NO meat. I contacted the store upon receipt. They asked for pics; they were provided. I also shared pics from previous purchase, attached. Ninety percent of the peppers I received had basically no meat, represented by number 3 in attached photo. I roasted rather than let them spoil. Maybe 10 peppers out of 10 pounds had enough meat to hold together after roasting. It appeared to me that they were picked before mature. Customer service offered me 50% off if I wished to reorder. I don’t need 10 more pounds. Therefore, I’m left with strings, none intact enough for rellenos. The peppers were in good condition when I received due to the fact I paid for expedited shipping. Needless to say, I will be looking for a different supplier for my next chili purchase. Very disappointing!”

Hi Nancy, To be completely frank, we are very perplexed by your review. We have not yet had a single complaint this season about the chile being thin meated, it's been a particularly stunning crop. Judging by the photo you sent over, it looks like the issue is with your roasting process. The chile looks like it has been cooked to dehydration rather than quickly roasted at a high temperature. As previously offered, we are willing to give you 50% off a box if you would like to try again. “I received my chile in two days as requested.The chile looked and smelled awful.The box was a gooey mess.I’m led to believe that chile was in that box a lot longer than a few days. Extremely disappointed.”

Our standard procedure is to reship the order for free. We offer our 2-Day guarantee because we know that when shipping fresh produce, there is always the chance of spoilage. “Yummy peppers and excellent customer service! I ordered 10 lbs of peppers. When they arrived, the bottom of the box was wet and about 8-10 peppers were mushed. I called the store and because I had paid for 2 day air (which guaranteed them), the store immediately sent me another shipment of 5 lbs (way more than were ruined). It’s rare to have such responsible and accommodating customer service. I now have about 14 lbs of roasted hatches waiting for me in the freezer for the year. Can’t wait to put them on everything. Made this Pennsylvania girl happy!”

“The Chile's were Massive this year with great flavor! I live in Minnesota so I opted for the two day shipping and the chile arrived on time. The only problem this year that I did not have in the past is the amount of spoilage. As soon as the package arrived I pulled it inside and immediately got them washed and ready to roast. As I sorted the chile I noticed on corner of the box was slimy and about 10 chile's were rotten beyond salvage, 8 others I had to trim off the stem end up to about 1/2 the chile. If there wasn't so much rot this year I would have given 5 stars.”
