“The roasted hatch chilis are fantastic, perfect for adding to many recipes. The recipes on the site are great, I've tried a few already. My only complaint is in shipping. First of all praise for using biodegradable packing. From your house to my house was 3 days. I'm guessing the dry ice ran out somewhere on day 2. The chilis arrived in a semi-frozen state. They seemed to re-freeze OK though.”

“I wish I could give you 5 stars everything about our order was great. I am a native of nm and know all about green chili, the chili we received was good not extra hot as it would be if I picked up myself from a local fruit stand in nm, it was not roasted enough to give it some of it great taste, and for 119.00 I could have gotten a few sacks of green chili roasted, so the 10 16oz bags won't go far in our house hold the plan is to drive to get it not order online. This is the only reason I can't give you 5 stars but it does taste good.”

“We're partially thawed upon receipt but we had some immediately and they were very good. We moved to Texas from NM and you just can't get chili rellanoes here made with the Big Jim's green chili. We've been dreaming of them for 10 years! You scratched our itch!”

“Chili is good. The shipping process was not! The chili arrived on a Sunday, which was odd. Good think we were home. The Dry ice was completely gone, and the chili was near being completely thawed. The email I received stated I was supposed to get it on Monday. I am very glad it came on Sunday as I am afraid the Chili would have been a total loss due to being thawed for an extended period of time.”

“Excellent taste....expensive per pound cost but well worth the convenience and fact that here in CA we cannot get. Medium is sometimes not necessarily medium in heat but still works. This order sat at the FED EX station just 15 miles from me for 5 days!!! so when the chili finally arrived one pack was slightly defrosted. Not sure how to fix that delivery problem.”

“I ordered 5 last of mild long green chiles. They did not disappoint with the flavor. I was disappointed with the timeliness of shipping as inclement weather kept them from harvesting the week they were supposed to be shipped. I was made aware of the delay and assured they would do everything within their power to ship the following week. When the chiles arrived, they were fresh, not bruised, and had no spots of rot. I threw them on the grill and roasted those puppies up! Thank you to the Hatch Chile Store for "feeding" my addiction!”

“te HCS pizza last night, and wanted to eat 10 times more :) Out of this world. The friendly and helpful customer experience also takes first place. My only challenge, and it is NOT The Hatch Cili Store's problem, in any way, is that the prices are steep for me. I want to buy everything. Sadly, I have to budget carefully. So that makes these products somewhat of a luxury for me. Carry on - these chilis and the foods prepared with them are the very best.”

“I did try and let your company know that most of my chiles were not good. I included pictures to support@hatch-green-chile.com. This is the response I received Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your Fresh Hatch Green Chile order! I'm so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience here! I pulled up your order and saw that you ordered one of our 5lb boxes of Fresh Hatch Green Chile. We guarantee all orders for 5lb boxes, so we compensate our customers accordingly when spoilage/damage occurs. How many chiles did you lose to spoilage/damage? Again, we apologize for this inconvenience, as we know that you were looking forward to your delicious Hatch Green Chile. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue for you. Thank you, Evan I responded with about six or more chiles being inedible. I never heard anything more. As stated in our previous communication, we guarantee all 5lb boxes of Fresh Hatch Chile. We would like to make things rights and offer you a reshipment on that 5lb box.
