“WOW….This was the first time ordering from the Hatch Chili Store , Great experience, Great chili and the customer service is fantastic , we ordered 2 boxes and both boxes were wonderful. We roasted both boxes , peeled them and put them in the freezer we are ready for winter green chili stew . We are definitely ordering from the Hatch Chili store again. My mom is from Albuquerque New Mexico so she knows good chili and says this is excellent. Thank you”

“Have placed orders for last three years. Every order has arrived in good shape with a outstanding product. Started out ordering frozen chili but last two years have ordered fresh. Hatch Chili store provides outstanding communication telling me when my order ships so I can track it my door and be ready to roast and pack aware for the New Years supply. Will definitely order again”

“Received my medium 25 pound box and roasted and froze most of them. They were very good and met all expectations. Note I also oredered 25 pounds of mild chilis but have heard nothing on that order to date?!”

“The Hatch chilies are A-mazing but we did have some bad ones at the bottom of the box. We roasted and packaged them the day after we received them and made chilies rellanos that night. Yummo!”

“O paid for 2 day shipping, their solution was to credit me 9 dallors for it being late and 6 dallors for having 18 bad peppers. Smiths Food & Drugs will roast 25 lbs for $19.99 in select days. People are far better off doing to them than this outfit.”

Hi James, We have done our best to ensure quality customer service for you regarding your order for 25lbs of Medium Fresh Hatch Green Chile. After one of the phone calls that you had with our Customer Service Manager, we gave you a store credit to compensate for FedEx delivering your package 1 day late. You paid for 2-Day and it took 3 days to arrive, so we credited you the difference for the shipping cost. This credit was issued so that you could apply it to a future order of Hot Fresh Hatch Green Chile, as you specifically requested. We also issued you a partial refund to compensate for the amount of chile that you received in poor condition. You ordered a 25lb box, which would be approximately 250 chiles. Given that 18 of them were bad, you lost 7.2% to spoilage. We issued a 10% refund for this spoilage. You verbally confirmed that this resolution was okay with you. All of our calls are recorded automatically, and we have replayed the recording to verify this. We have offered several solutions to ensure that you are compensated for the issues with your order. We have also asked what more we could do for you, as we always welcome customer feedback regarding our resolution processes. Any feedback we receive is appreciated and carefully considered. “I have been ordering fresh Hatch chiles for the past 3-4 years and have never been disappointed. The notifications to pre-order are very helpful. I didn't have a single 'bad' pepper in my 10lb order this year, and I have been eating them everyday for the past 2 weeks. Such a great seasonal treat. Thanks!”

“I got the Big Jim’s - roasted them on my grill. Froze most. They peel easy and are pure heaven to eat - plain or with anything . Second year ordering them. They arrived in perfect shape with a few red ones. I love the red ones! During my own circumstances I could not attend to them for 3 days. Probably lost 4 chiles from letting them sit in the box. If you get them in and have to wait, open them up and spread them out somewhere coolish and dry. Planni my to order more before the season is out. The Big Jim’s are flavorful and meaty!”

“Beautiful and delicious New Mexican green chilies. They roasted well and made my apartment smell like home again. Mediums this year are pretty mild. I'd go HOT for medium and X-hot for properly hot.”

“I became obsessed with chiles after a visit to Santa Fe. When I got back home I researched how to get fresh chiles and The Hatch Chile Store did not disappoint! My 10# box arrived and I quickly started roasting them. My house smelled fantastic! And I’ve had chiles in some form every day since they arrived! They were beautiful! Huge and gorgeous color! It took over a month to arrive, but I ordered very early!!”

“I ordered 5lbs of medium fresh peppers as a birthday gift for a friend who used to love Hatch peppers when he was living in Texas. The peppers arrived quickly and were fresh and in good condition. My friend was very happy with the gift and we thoroughly enjoyed his delicious stuffed peppers!!! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. We will be making this a tradition!”
