“Chiles arrived fresh and in good shape. There's no comparison with any canned or even the best fresh-frozen chiles. We knew when to expect them here in Atlanta and roasted them right out of the box. We'll be ordering again. And the other products including chile powders are great quality.”

“Got a 10 Lb. box of Big Jim. All were in great shape except for 2. As the delivery was during a CA heat wave and the box got delayed in route, it was to be expected. We have roasted, prepped and frozen all in seal-a-meal bags for use as needed. Will be making a tuna salad with a few very soon. Next up corn bread with added peppers.”

“I was so excited when I receive my chilies. I ordered 1/ 25lb of medium and 1/25lb of mild. I've already received the medium order and have roasted them and have them frozen or jarred. Some I roasted and then smoked with mesquite. My love of Hatch chilies started when I lived in New Mexico almost 30 years ago. When I had to move back to Illinois, I was crushed. The only chilies I could by were canned with no flavor, but I never forgot the amazing Hatch green chilies. I have told my husband for years how incredible they are and how he has never had decent " Mexican " food untill he eats food with Hatch Green chilies. When I found The Hatch Chilie Store and that I could once again have the flavor of New Mexico that I loved and missed. With the first bite of a meal using Hatch chillies, my husband is hooked. He finally understands why I love the Hatch chilies so much and why there is no other chilies like them in the world. Thank you for giving joy and flavor back into my life and those I love.”

“The box was smashed and approx a pound of it was ruined. The dry ice was melted. Other than that I love your chile.”

“I loved the preorder option because I was able to save and buy a larger amount. By getting in early I felt the chiles would be crisp and fresh. I was disappointed ithat they were wilted and by the following day those that I still had not time to finish roasting were beginning to turn. I understand the heat gets to them but sitting and waiting to pack takes it’s toll.”

“They arrived right on schedule. However about 10% of the chilis were damaged from what looks to be a partially crushed box. Otherwise this would have been a solid 5 star review. The rest were perfect, large is size, and big in flavor. For sure, $7 a pound is pricey for chilis, but since they are 10 times better than out store bought chilis, it'll be hard not to place another order next year.”

“I have been going to The Hatch Chile store for several years. I keep coming back because the chiles are always top notch. They have arrived in great condition, within two that I had been notified of shipment... ready for me to roast... good quality, thick meated and so tasty! The mail person knocked on my door for delivery...he said he had been enjoying the aroma while they were in his truck and wanted to make sure I took them inside (super hot here). The customer service with this store is awesome... absolutely awesome.... great communication and follow up. I will keep coming back... thank you!!!!”

“Had to give you a 5 because of your wonderful customer care. My first order of Chile came in a box that was wet, torn and with spoiled chili's. When I wrote to you about my disappointment I was quickly given a response that a new shipment of chili would be sent as a guarantee for 5 pound orders. It should be shipped out soon. That in it self says a lot for customer service. My other order of Sandia Chile came in a perfectly contained box. I will continue to order from you as I love Hatch Chile. Thank you again for your excellent product.”

“The chillies arrived looking great (mostly) and have great flavor. Many thanks! I say “mostly” because I had to discard about 4 that already started to “roast” in the box and were soft and starting to spoil when they arrived. I suppose this is due to the excessive summer heat this year and maybe to USPS, which is not as reliable as it used to be (either because of COVID or management changes). Perhaps consider changing to Fedex?”

“These are the best chilies around. I wait every year to order them, to make salsa verde, and freeze some for casseroles and chilies during the Fall and Winter. I had always only gotten 5lbs, and this past year I ordered 25lbs, it was wonderful! There was more then I could use, so I set them out for anyone to have, FREE....and they were gone in 3 hours! Out of 25lbs only 3 had to be thrown/tossed due to spoilage/mold/fuzz. Thanks for a great product and I plan to keep buying and sharing.”
