“I loved the tamales and rellenos that I have ordered in the past. I have also ordered green chili sauce which is awesome. I was disappointed in the red chili corn tortillas. I ordered 3 dozen and wish I had only ordered one. They are very dry and fall apart when trying to fill and roll. Packaging is great for everything I have ordered for delivery in Floida.”

“I purchased beef tamales, green chile cheese tamales, and rellenos. The rellenos are my favorite, excellent flavor, but require a knife to cut. The green Chile tamales were wrapped in paper, and must be thawed to unwrap. Taste is very good. Beef tamales are quite tasty, but could have more meat in them (per my husband). Will buy again.”

“I bought the small tabletop roaster and love it. The Hatch Chili’s haven’t hit the stores yet but I’ve done Anaheim and bell peppers which came out perfect. The website is easy to navigate and place your order. They were quick to ship out. I’m very happy with the entire experience and can’t wait for the Hatch peppers to hit my stores.”

“My experience started when I made my first order. I had orderd my chilies in late February, then later during the pandemic we purchased a new home and so as soon as we had been approved, I made a phone call to The Hatch Chile Store. I wanted inform them of my change of address early enough to make sure I would receive my orders on time. This would have been around the end of April, by the end of June we were moved into our new home. Then I waited, and waited, and waited. I finally received a notice that my chilies were on their way and I could expect them within a couple of days. 2 days nothing, 3 days nothing. Then the notice they had been DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE ! , excited I go to the door, open it, look out and .......; nothing no box, no chilies only hot air blowing on my face. After the initial shock of my missing Hatch Chilies wore off, I called the company to find out what had happened. I was informed that my chilies had accidentally shipped to my old address and that they would be sending out a new order with a small gift for the mixup. I finally received my beautiful Hatch Chilies with a bonus of their Hatch Red Chilie powder. I know some will say " Well yeah their going to do all that because they messed up.", but to me it was more. With the shit show that was 2020, I was reunited with the flavor that is New Mexico. I had live in New Mexico over 20 years ago and fell in love with everything about that State, but when I had to move back to Illinois my soul was crushed. I would no longer have access to all the flavors I had fell in love with, but NO HATCH CHILLIES was like death to my taste buds. I have never gotten use to the cheap canned chilies at the store and have told the story of the magical Hatch chilies of old. Now finally I can once again enjoy eating green chilies and spread the word. To awaken the taste buds of the poor friends and family that have never experienced the sunshine and the flavor of New Mexico that is the Hatch chilie. This year I ordered 1 /25 lb of medium and the same of the mild. Last year I fire roasted them on my grill and froze them, this year I'm going to try smoking some as well, of course I will be using mesquite to do that. RESPECT THE CHILIE! *As I'm writing this my chilies have been delivered ! (picture added)”

“Hey all - ordered 5 1-lb bags of whole frozen green chiles and 5 1-lb bags of chopped red/green frozen. I've only used one bag of green so far, but they definitely thawed all the way during shipping. Put them in the freezer immediately upon receipt, but the damage was done. Used them in green chile stew and on pizza - they have lost a lot of flavor and the texture is pretty dry. The chopped looked much more frozen when they arrived - haven't tried them yet. Fingers crossed. Maybe additional cold packs or more insulation would have helped - I've never ordered frozen before. Not a bad review, but pretty sad over here. “Our Big Jim Charger Green Chilis arrived today July 15. Each of the chilis were large and absolutely beautiful. Roasting on the BBQ grill was very easy - directions are available through The Hatch Chili Store. It is exciting to order each year from this wonderful company. Their prices are very affordable .. suggest ordering when they offer a presale on the chilis. We lived near Hatch New Mexico and this company has a great reputation.”
