“Hatch Chile Peppers are not only the BEST hot peppers you can get anywhere - they are a true taste of the southwest! I love using the roasted whole peppers to make a Santa Fe steak - lay a whole pepper on top of your almost done steak and cover it all with cheddar cheese. YUM! You couldn't ask for better! I signed up for their recipes and haven't been disappointed. The Green Chile, Bacon and Cheese quiche was a real crowdpleaser!”

“We ordered thinking that this was a truly New Mexico operation. We ordered two dozen of the chili rellenos and expected them to ship from somewhere close to Hatch, NM. The shipping information stated that they would be shipped frozen with dry ice to keep them frozen. We were astounded to find out that they were shipping from California! Why California? This doesn't make sense if they are truly Hatch chilis from Hatch, NM. However, when we received this package we were flabbergasted to see that the entire contents of dry ice had vaporized which dry ice does and that the two dozen of the rellenos had also completely defrosted. We immediately put one dozen in the freezer and cooked the other dozen in Kelly's air fryer. They tasted okay but were sort of mushy!”

Hi Dailey, We apologize for the inconvenience. As we try our best to provide exceptional service, some factors like shipping and handling are outside of our control, and issues like this can happen. In order to ship all over the United States as quickly and affordably as possible, we use distribution centers in Youngstown, Ohio, and Sacramento, California to ship each individual order. All of our chile is grown, roasted, and packaged in Hatch, NM. Our tamales and rellenos are made using Hatch chile as well in Southern New Mexico. We ship our rellenos, tamales, and roasted chile to our distribution centers by the semi-load, and they take care of packing each individual order. I wasn't able to find any emails from you to our support team reporting your issue. We are always happy to remedy shipping issues, but we can't fix issues we don't know about. “My most recent order was to send some delicious Hatch Chili salsas to my family stationed in Germany. The online ordering process was easy! The package was sent out very quickly. However, I do not understand why shipping to an APO address does not qualify for free shipping. I would have ordered another jar for them if I had gotten the free shipping offer. That was my only disappointment.”

“Sent with minimal dry ice and thawed completely after one day on the shaded porch Moreover, the company takes no responsibility for delivery so don’t order unless you plan to be home to receive the package in person (and you won’t know exactly which day). The dry ice was clearly not enough to last the five day shipping transit.”

“Obtaining chile products,particularly Hatch chile products, in the panhandle of Florida, is difficult. When I found this site, I know the products would be excellent and they are. The website is user friendly. The packaging was very good. Nothing was damaged in shipping. I'm looking forward lots of red chile dishes. Thanks for all your great work.”

“Thank you for being so great at what you do! I cancelled my subscription a while back thinking I could save a penny. Well not only was I wrong about the penny I have 10 lbs of frozen green Chile in my freezer that is not even worth our time if we could get the peel off. I will never leave you again! “I responded to your Father's Day promotion and ordered Chile rellenos for my husband on Monday, June 14th. I live about 3.5 hours drive from Hatch. I expected to receive my order by Saturday, June 19th, at the latest. On Wednesday, June 16th, I received a FEDX alert telling me they would be delivered on Saturday, June 19 and they were coming from West Sacramento, CA! Whaaaat!?!?!? I thought I was ordering a New Mexican product. I emailed and a gal explained your shipping system to me. Well, I finally received my order on Tuesday, June 22. All the dry ice had melted and the rellenos were thawed. We tried to heat them up and eat them and they were AWFUL! We threw them out. I did receive a prompt refund. Your shipping system may benefit people from afar but clearly is not designed for New Mexicans. I will never order from you again.”

Hi Barbara, We apologize that you received your chile rellenos thawed. Since it was a delay on FedEx's end, it is absolutely outside of our control. However, it sounds like we made the issue right, by giving you a prompt refund. Our main customers are those who do not have Hatch Green Chile and products readily available like we do here in New Mexico. Do not worry about shipping from California and Ohio, all of our products are directly from the Hatch Valley. We are a small family business that takes great pride in our contribution to our local community.
