“VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BOX OF CHILI'S. HEB IN CENTRAL TEXAS ONLY HAD ONE ROASTING EVENT BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT GET ANY MORE BOXES. I WENT AHEAD AND POPPED FOR MAIL ORDER WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY 3 TO 4 TIMES WHAT IT COST AT STORE. THESE CHILIS DID NOT HAVE A GOOD FLAVOR AND WERE SO MUSHY AFTER PEELING THAT THEY WOULD NOT KEEP THEIR SHAPE AND BASICALLY ARE UNUSABLE FOR RELLENOS. I HAVE ROASTED CHILI FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM. ORDERED RED LAST YEAR AND LOVE THEM AND STILL HAVE SOME.”

“Wow! That pretty much sums it up. On my first purchase, I bought Green Chili Roast, Red and Green chili powder and a jar of Papa's Salsa. Everything is amazing, great quality and taste! I've already made my second purchase.”

“I recently ordered green chili chicken tamales (which I dearly love) for myself and some for good friends. My package arrived no ice, but still cold, while my friends arrived a day later, no ice and warm to touch. I contacted Hatch Chili Store. They reshipped the tamales to my friends, they have rec'd the order STILL FROZEN and look forward to a great meal!! I thank you for correcting this bad situation. Now my friends can enjoy the tamales as much as I do!!”

“I specifically ordered *hot* chiles and they were! This had the advantage that I was not obliged to share them with anyone and had them all to myself. So far I have made a green-chile stew and it is spectacular. More chiles remain in my freezer. The chiles had to be shipped to me from Hatch NM to Seattle WA and they were packed with extraordinary care; they arrived still frozen, even though there was a weekend somewhere en route. Well done, Hatch Chile Store!”

“I called before I ordered because we had gotten hot chile that was very mild from another place. The agent we spoke with said there had more rain than usual but the Chile would be good. We asked if it would be hot and he said not a hot as normal but yes it would have good heat. I asked it it would be at least as hot as big Jim medium hot and he said it it would be much hotter than that. My husband got on the phone as asked again if we would get chile with heat and he was told yes. So we ordered 25#. The order shipped fast and arrived in good shape the only reason for the extra star. But instead of hot or even medium hot, we got extremely mild chile with no heat at all. I immediately called The Hatch Chile Store and got a message that customer service wasn’t taking calls. So we got what they sent but we didn’t get what we ordered and paid for. We are very disappointed and won’t be ordering from The Hatch Chile Store again.”

“I used to have to go several miles to get my roasted green chili by the 50 pound bags! I so appreciate that I can order directly from the HATCH CHILI STORE per pound already roasted and peeled and delivered frozen to my door. Can't beat that service!!! Chili always as ordered and so tasty.”

“This is now my third order from the Hatch Chile Store and I am beyond pleased. I pre-ordered 5lbs of this year's crop of hot green chile. It arrived still frozen, and, this year was done up in 1 lb. bags. The bags were flat in the box which is a great improvement over last year when all 5 lbs arrived in one large chunk. It's great for storing in the freezer and you only take out 1 lb at a time. Love it!! Great service, ease in ordering and arrival just as stated.”
