“The items were out of dry ice, and already thawing. We had barely damp, cool, packing insulation around the product. No dry ice visible.”

Hi Barbara, Thanks for reaching out! I'm so sorry about the way your order arrived. Typically orders for frozen products arrive cold with a small amount of dry ice left in the box. As long as they are still cold to the touch, then they are safe to refreeze and consume. We never recommend our customers consume a product if it arrives warm and spoiled. “Hatch Chile store has the good stuff you have a very hard time trying to find anywhere else. This year the frozen chopped green chile is excellent! Excellently processed. And medium is medium hot. I just made green chile chicken enchiladas , hmmmm great. The red chile pork tamales are very good as well this year, great masa and very good red Chile pork.”

“High-quality stuff. I just tried the jarred green chilis very fresh. I also tried the chicken enchiladas they were great for a frozen. The tortilla crisped up like a big dog in the air fryer. Very pleased.”

“The product was too jot to eat. Thry should have put a warning for the product on their website about the heat index of the peppers used 😥 disappointed”

“We sure are enjoying our jars of hot green chile! I was able to finally make some green chile stew with it! The hot helps me make a large batch. Green chili is hard to come by here in Wichita, KS. The quality, price and customer service makes this my go to for all things green Chile!”

“I've always been leery of buying food online, but The Hatch Chile Store came highly recommended. I've ordered several times now, and I have been very pleased each time. So far I have eaten the Chile Relenos and some of the whole green chiles (in a big pot of Chili), and they have been delicious. I haven't tried the salsas/sauces yet - saving them for company. I have to say that the food products are really outstanding, and the packaging/shipping - especially for frozen foods - has been exceptional. Buy with confidence here and let your taste buds rejoice!”

“Second year and probably the last Last year ordered hot it was mild at the worst and this year hot was a little better but not much. Order received on time but paced with ice that had melted but chili appears to be ok.”

“Store sent stuff quickly, so that's good. The Chiles Rellenos were not great. The peppers were so fibrous they could barely be cut. Too much coating and too little cheese.”

“I recently ordered and received a 3 ft long ristra from The Hatch Chile Store. Their website was easy to navigate and plainly explained everything so ordering was easy.
