“I ordered the hot Hatch Chiles online for the first time. I was worried they would thaw out before arrival, but they were well packed and still frozen. We have enjoyed using them in many dishes, they are so fresh tasting and the perfect heat level for us. Thank you Hatch Chile Store.”

“I order your products online and they are shipped immediately. My latest order is the Hatch Green Chile, chicken and cheese Chimichanga. Absolutely fabulous from the soft flour tortillas to the generous amount of chicken and cheese finished with a nice dose of your Chile's. Addictive!”

“I love Hatch Chile. I live in Colorado for over 20 years. I moved to Tennessee in 1992. I have never been able to find good chiles here. I'm thankful that I can order roasted, peeled, and chopped chile from the Hatch Chile Store. My chile order was shipped promptly and arrived still fully frozen. I made my first batch of chile verde the day after my chile arrived. I shared it with all of my neighbors. I will order again when I have used what I bought.”

“.....actually my rating wasn't on the taste...because I have not figured out how I am going to do that yet. When I received my tamales...they were all frozen together and if I thaw them just to use 2-3 because it is only my husband and myself...then do I refreeze them and then do I do this everytime I want to use them....refreeze...refreeze....that concerns me. Not sure sure why I received them like this. I called in and talked to a very nice man.....but he was young and really had no idea what to do.... So this is my issue..... Thanks, Karen Prokash”

Hi Karen, Thanks for your feedback. Sometimes frozen food can get stuck together like this if it gets slightly thawed and refrozen. We recommend thawing them in the refrigerator, separating them into meal portions of 2-3 each, then refreezing them in separate freezer bags. The USDA says it's completely safe to thaw previously cooked foods in the refrigerator, then refreeze the unused portions. “I order Green Chile Roast in jars and enjoy using the Chile in recipes and over eggs Or meats. Also I got an envelope of dried mixed red & green chiles. Using those pieces mixed with sun dried tomato’s soaked in hot water or broth I’ve added the mixture as filling For chicken breast roller thin, adding cheese and mushrooms. Yumm!”

“The green Chile I ordered came in a freezer pack and was still frozen when I received it. The product itself is great. Not as hot as I expected but truly good flavor and hopefully will keep well in the freezer as I enjoy the green chilis in my leisure.”
