“The service was excellent but, unfortunately, the colour of the rug is very disappointing. It seems to have a yellowish tinge, which makes it appear grubby. I would return it if it wasn't so heavy (which is good) and fear it would be expensive.”

“The rug was delivered in a timely fashion but unfortunately it was folded up. The crease has still not comes and currently spoils the look of it some 14 days after delivery. The rug otherwise is good.”

“We ordered a custom sized rug to fit an extra long space. We were given a 12 to 16 week delivery. When the 16 weeks had passed I had to ring The Rug Seller. They did get back to me to apologise that there was a delay and the rug would take an extra few weeks as it was “in transit”. It did arrive within the newly advised timescale and they did ring beforehand to advise the exact delivery date. The rug looks fabulous and fits perfectly. Rating would have been very good but for the delay.”

“Luxury feel to this deep pile shag rug, feels so soft underfoot. Colour is as shown but it’s too nice for a bathroom rug so will put it in the bedroom Will enhance any room pleased with my purchase”

“I ordered a rug with a palm leaf pattern on it but when it Arrived it was plain green. Fortunately I really liked the rug and colour so decided to keep it. I did tell them this via their chat line and the girl asked me to send a photo which would not send. I did ring the next day but the chap dealing with it was away. All in all a bit frustrating but the delivery etc was good”

Hi! Thanks for your review! Just for your own peace of mind, wool rugs (such as yours) do always shed a bit as they are made of non continuous fibres which are not melted/glued into a backing as they would be on a synthetic rug. It is a natural feature of a high quality rug. Over time the shedding will reduce. Please ensure that you follow the care guides in relation to vacuum cleaning - a low power suction only setting is advised and you should try not to use rotating bristle vacuum cleaners as this can exacerbate shedding.
