“The goods are excellent, the website is very helpful and full of useful material. Delivery is timely. Unfortunately the price for the goods is very high compared to some other suppliers and when you add postage as well this makes it almost prohibitive. I was going to buy some Arbranet but found that Axminster were far cheaper.”

“The service is very prompt and the delivery is prompt and very well managed. When I make an order, I have to initially refer to the Robert Sorby Catalogue first in order to exactly fix the requirement and part numbers as the Tool-Post web-site information on their products is sometimes not very clear.”

“Had a problem with one item in my order, it was sorted out very quickly and very satisfactorily. Always a test of a supplier, but Toolpost get top marks for that. Other than that only a small issue with items that were out of stock; there was no communication at time of order that the items weren't available so the wait for them was unexpected. Overall a good supplier with a very informative web site.”

Mea Culpa. Hopefully the new website will be up soon and that should resolve these issues. Believe me, as the poor sap that has to do al that hand coding, the change can't come soon enough. Small business have challenges in finding the resources to make huge website rebuilds so all we can ask is that you view the situation sympathetically until we can get the requisite amount of work completed.

“The smock is a brilliant design - shame the VAT element wasn't given more prominence in the advert! If I'm to nit pick I think the sleeves could do to be a little bit longer (no doubt there are those who would suggest the opposite - perhaps the answer might be multiple lengths - I know stock numbers probably preclude this) I think the collar fastening might be better as a button and dual button holes. The Velcro makes the front of the collar very stiff and when you bend your head forward to look down it tends to restrict breathing by digging into the neck! As I have said, the design is good - it just needs a bit of tweaking”

John, thanks for your feedback. I'm afraid that the only answer to a perfect fit is to find the perfect tailor. We have lengthened the sleeves and yes, as you say, people have complained that they are 'too long'! There's no winning in this game, it seems. May I make a suggestion regarding the collar (which will soften as the garment is used and washed). Instead of wrapping the collar closely around your neck like a scarf, try bringing the two closure ends together such that they cross at about ninety degrees rather than being in line. This flattens the collar but still keeps the chips away. You can adjust the angle of crossover to alter the protrusion of the collar. Maybe you're a bit like me and don't have a lot of neck to wrap it around! Thanks again for the feedback.

“I ordered just one item from the Toolpost. Ordering on line was easy and trouble free. The item arrived within a couple of days. My only criticism was the fact that I got an e mail from the delivery company stating that my item would be arriving on Thursday 7th January. I then got a further e mail from them stating that there was a delay in that they had not received the item. I actually got the item on Thursday delivered by Royal Mail. Regards”

“Ordering the gift vouchers was easy, I like the personal message you can include on the voucher and they arrived very quickly. I feel a massive improvement to the customer experience would be - being able to pay online via card or Paypal at the point of order rather than have the faff of having to phone up and pay over the phone! Happy with service just a really annoying step in the process! Thanks Katie”

“Good company with good website and lots of excellent free advice. Tools are fine. Would prefer that the VAT was included in price, although they are quite clear that it needs to be added. Delivery was very speedy and service overall is excellent. Postage is expensive and could, perhaps, be reviewed to find a cheaper method. Would recommend to folk wanting to deal with a high quality company RP”
