Durham shop newly opened just before Christmas and I think there's a few things they need to iron out. More Disabled bays both sides of the door. Waited 20 minutes in the cafe (Costa) today, and walked out in disgust, in the end. Nowhere to put your trolley while your eating/drinking. At the checkout, I handed over a £20 note, but the till had NO change, so I had to pay by card. Come on The Range, get your act together.

I ordered a duvet cover online, I didn’t need to take it out of the packaging to see it wasn’t good quality, it was heavily creased and I knew I would never get the creases out. I phoned customer services to arrange sending it back by post which is not free, the person was very nippy, I then realised I was going to be in the vicinity of a Range store so decided to take it there, they couldn’t take it because store return had been blocked because I said I would post it back so I had no option but to post it, cost me £6 to do that, I wouldn’t shop there again, this was my first and last time.

Terrible customer service..that's when u can even get thru to talk to someone!! Delivered very late and damaged all over (badly) very bad experience with range online shopping/delivery. 1 star is for the actual store bt I will neva EVER order from the range online again!!

Instantly assumed I was a thief! I am disgusted with this store. The loss adjuster (plain clothes security guard) followed me everywhere from the minute I walked in. I had no coat, shopping bags or handbag to conceal anything. Where on earth did he assume I was going to put anything? I had one of their trolleys and was outfitting an entire flat, I went elsewhere. Their loss. Never again.

Order was supposed to arrive on 9th December - didn't. Impossible to contact, finally got through to customer services after 30 min wait to be advised that they would investigate and e.mail back. No e.mail. Phoned again, another 25 minutes waiting on phone, finally resolved and order received on 17th December. Unfortunately item badly damaged ( a mirror which was broken in half and glass cracked. Now trying to sort out it's return and still waiting on phone to speak to customer services (25 minutes and counting). Will NEVER order on-line from the Range again.

I did not receive my delivery , tracking states I signed for which is a lie . I appreciate that this is not the fault of the Range but it is impossible to contact you. You do not answer the phone or social media . The online form goes directly into an email that is not monitored and now you monitor reviews . Appalling customer service

I have not received my item, tracking states delivered and signed for which is a lie. I appreciate that it’s Christmas and very busy and mistakes happen , however It is impossible to contact the Range. I will never shop here again !!

Really bad customer service!! Order was not fully delivered. Clearly they do not want customers to get in touch with them as they make it impossible!! On the phone hours and don't pick up. Real shame as products are good but never in my life experienced customer service like this. Shockingly bad. Please avoid this store at all costs!!!

ordered via the Range Website, called for 5 days holding on for average of 40 mins no answer. i ordered 29.11 told delivery would be 5.12 - still waiting its the 12.12 told its not even them that supply and all the can do with the supplier is email them and wait for a response? i will not get gift sets this late on now and i guess i have to wait on long queues to get my refund if they don't deliver which is now very likely - told i still have time to make other arrangements - no i don't there will be no gift box sets left and also I am busy hence why I ordered 2-3 weeks ago. not happy and have little reason to believe this order will be fulfilled.

1 star is far too generous. So I placed an order online on the 30th November and opted to collect in store. Is now the 8th December still my order hasnt arrived. Photo ed the store to speak to a useless clueless member of staff that offered no help at all other than I could contact the delivery company myself but gave me no details and said there was nothing g she could do about it. Really really unhappy with my experience this time round and will never place an order online with the range again !!!!

VILE COMPANY One star is one star too many...disgusting company. Take heed and DO NOT order online. It would be LESS hassle to learn how to make the item you require yourself...have fun learning new skills guys.

0 STARS. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THE RANGE I ordered a tree and decorations on Monday 2nd Dec and paid for nominated delivery for it to be delivered on Wednesday the 4th as I was working from home and son was in nursery, NOTHING. Order was still showing a processing on their website! No one answers phones lines or social media channels. Received an email from DHL to say it was being delivered Thursday 5th. Waited in with my son all day, he was so excited...DELAYED because The Range hasn’t processed the order for DHL to pick up. Received an email today to say it was due to be delivered between a certain time....NOTHING! I paid for nominated delivery as I (like most people) can’t be waiting around all day for something not to be delivered. Can’t even get in contact with anyone too see what’s going on, get a refund etc.

Ordered 2 items from the Range, delivery date 5 Dec, waited in all day, no delivery! Tried to Contacted Range customer service, 35 mins in a queue, hung up! Emailed XDP delivery, advised delivery to be 6 Dec and I would receive a txt when driver came in after 11am. Received no txt so emailed XDP again and I was advised their driver didn’t turn up and told now my delivery is due to 7 Dec ........ I paid extra for delivery...... what an absolute joke the Range is. Will never order from them again!!!!!

Bad customer service. Contacted several times and no response. Had an order of lanterns delivered and one of them was smashed! Let's hope this company goes out of business soon....nothing but two bit cow boys!

I visited the Gloucester store today. Of the 23 items I would have bought I could find no price for them, on the item, the shelf or on the hanging rod for 20 of them. The craft area was a shambles with stock not corresponding to the shelf labelling so again not able to price. I gave up and left empty handed

I ordered paint and was promised a two day wait for it to arrive at our local Leyland store. After 4 days of delay and the bedroom in complete disarray because of the lateness (involving still sleeping on the floor at aged 67) I attempted to make contact. This involved waiting on the phone for up to an hour with no reply. We travelled to Preston and found the paint there. HOWEVER, they would not accept my online receipt and I had to pay AGAIN. I kept trying to cancel the order and ask for my money back. This went on from Monday to Wednesday and included hours of unanswered telephone calls and emails. Then - I recieved a mail saying the paint was at Leyland. I will now try to get a FULL refund including an unreasonable £3 delivery!!!. Watch this space. I advise people NOT TO DEAL WITH THIS FIRM!! They are a disgrace.
