Visited store in Stoke Gifford, Bristol during my lunch break. Picked up a few items, including frozen goods. Went to checkouts to find they were not manned. Asked a group of staff nearby who were chatting amongst themselves if there was someone who could go on the tills. They just said 'oh, she was there just now' and a couple of them wandered off saying they would look for her (they didn't). Why didn't they just jump on the till themselves?? After a couple more minutes, with my lunchbreak ebbing away and a queue forming behind me, I gave up, dumped my basket of goods and left, as they obviously weren't interested in taking my money. Also not impressed to regularly see a group of staff around the corner of the store chatting and smoking. It's a shame, as the goods in the store are quite good, but their customer service is appalling!

Unhelpful customer service assistant today wouldn’t serve me even though there was only one till open. Put my items back because of the poor customer service. Store in a complete mess moved all the craft stuff upstairs so couldn’t find half of it. Why mix Xmas stuff downstairs and upstairs ??? Got so angry had to leave the store.

Since May to today there's been zero customer care. No email acknowledgement. Nearly an hour for them to answer the phone only to be answered by someone who had no power to do anything. They still taking money from me through Klarna so they have basically stolen £480 from me!! I ordered some garden furniture in May and on the same day I realised it was too big for my garden so I wanted to change my order to actually a larger value. I immediately tried to call them and waited 45 mins only to be answered by basically, a telephonist. She told me I had to call the supplier myself as they had now received my order. At this point I had lost faith in the company so I wanted to cancel my order. I have called them, emailed and sent company site 'contact us' messages and with no response, nothing, zero. I have now asked Klarna to put a hold on the charge with them. They have said they legally can do little as my dispute is with The Range. I will now visit a shop. What do you bet the manager will say this is an online matter!!! I think I need a solicitor!!!

I will never use or shop again in the Range bought car bulbs price was 1.99 printed on package,i was charged 2.99:at the till i queried this and a rude manager started shouting at me and started showing me her phone i asked to see the store policy was told they don't have any information in store this was at Surrey quays,Never again will they get my custom

I bought a chair online on opening discovered it was damage and looked like it had been sent back before, tried ringing but was on hold over 1 hour, contacted by e-mail several times, when I got. Reply was told it was nothing to do with them, to contact RangePlus, e-mailed RangePlus, they said it wasn't theirs to contact Range, what am I supposed to do!!

First time shopping at The Range in Glasgow. Bought walls,had 1 full roll left, took to shop where stroppy assistant said had to be returned by calling customer services. I did that immediately and 8 days later no one has provided a solution on how I return this? Are they waiting until the 6th Oct when my 28 days has passed?. They have a cheek to call it customer services, there is NO service to the customer. I was told cannot be put through, they have to phone you?!! Will nit be back and extremely frustrated at the lack of action on this very very simple transaction I am trying to do. Disgraceful!

Had a damaged delivery..customer service terrible I can’t speak to managers or get my money back I’m trying now to claim it back through PayPal ..disgrace any other store online goods or store goods you get a refund or a new item but not this store I’ll never purchase again from here!!!!

Urgently needed seals for my Kilner preserving jars , but they only sell jars. I asked at checkout and was told they don't stock replacement seals , and my best bet was to buy online . They definately have the Brexit attitude . Poor attitude . 1 star for having new jars . None for management capability ! efinately

This should be no stars!!!!!! The absolute worst customer service I've ever come across. They would be better off not having one, at the very least it would be honest. They don't even have a complaints procedure and don't uphold the ombudsman directives.

The worst customer service I have ever come across, well I you can call it that. I placed an order, delivery never happened, so as per the website I cancelled my order, they then sent the item to me!!!!! Informed I cancelled, they collected, 2 weeks later no refund!!! They have the item and my money. When you call the 'customer service helpline(if you can call it that' all you get is I'm sorry I can't help you, whatever option you press no one can help you, oh that spending at least 2 hrs trying to get through too. So they have the item and my money, if I went into a store and walked out with an item without paying, that's theft, so what's the difference. Please do not use this company, it is awful. I just wish I had read the reviews first. Im I financial hardship now as they have my money and still not got, the refund was 'supposedly'.proceed 10 days ago, even though 3-5 days to go back in my account, & they don't know why it hasn't!!!! Awful awful company, avoid, avoid, avoid at all cost!!!!

Ignore the star!!!!!!!!!! The lack of service & customer care not received from Ben the duty manager & staff at Dumfries store is appalling waited more than 24 hours for a refund!!!!!!!!!! We ordered some cups & had to pay upfront the store can't get the cups & won't give us a credit card refund over the phone we have to drive 40 mile round trip disgraceful

Bought suite in December arm on armchair collapsed in April repaired July arms on rest of suite started collapsing contacted range, ignored for weeks eventually they sent upholsterer out who confirmed manufacturing fault once again being ignored by the range.Avoid this company like the plague unless you enjoy being ripped off.

Awful service. Ordered garden furniture in April. Expected delivery August. Recent emails pushed the back to October! Sent a request to cancel order and receive refund. No response from The Range to date.

I purchased a sweatshirt from the Range in Torquay today 19/9/21 the signs around the clothing department stated that due to covid 19 items cannot be tried on. The usual policy displayed at customer services. states any item purchased can be returned as long as it is returned with a valid receipt with original tags etc. For a exchange or refund if items are not suitable. When I returned to the store later that day to exchange/refund the sweatshirt that was too small. I was informed that as this was a "clearance" item I could not have an exchange/refund or credit for the sweatshirt. I spoke to the duty manager Jenna who stated it was company policy NOT to exchange or refund "clearance" items. I was not made aware of this at the time of purchase and when I went to the clothing area with the duty manager Jenna who insisted there was a sign stating "clearance" item were not refundable. There were no signs stating this. The duty manager Jenna then apologised and said she agreed that I should have been made aware of this before purchase but the sign informing customers of this different policy for "clearance" items was missing due to "human error" However despite the "human error (admitted by Jenna the duty manager) regarding no signs to inform customers of this change to the usual returns policy for "clearance" item. The duty manager Jenna then insisted that I could have tried the sweatshirt on before purchase despite there being signs clearly displayed stating due to covid NOT to try items of clothing on! Again she referred to this a "human error" as these signs should have been removed when government restrictions where lifted. I was absolutely astounded that under the circumstances with regards to these "human errors" the the duty manager Jenna would not offered a refund or exchange! Leaving me with a sweatshirt that does not fit, This is terrible customer service! and what I believe is a breach of my statutory rights.

Like many others ordered garden furniture in March paid in full to be delivered June. No problem with that. However emails received on a monthly basis now expected October! 4 emails in last month changing dates absolutely shocking service. No response to complaint emails.....

Spent hours on the phone passed from pillar to post . The Range are liars so are Comfy living and Hermes . Waited in lied to for 4 days . Absolute cowboy shower of S—t

Very disappointing response from customer service. The quality of the product we ordered was very poor. We are still waiting for customer services to respond to our email. I won't be buying anything from them again.

They have moved my delivery date NINE times! Have no idea where my furniture is and if I will ever get it! Paid for it back in July 🙄 Customer service is shoddy at best and has no answers.

Awful, dreadful company!! Customer care!! More like Customer Con team. The Range and its so called trusted partners are a rip off!! DO .NOT BUY FROM THE Range !!! They are happy to take your orders but ignore you when you ask to return items. They have not replied to my emails for 3 months, every time I've called customer care, they don't answer :(.
