Terrible experience so far with an online purchase I cannot take back to.store. I will never get anything again online. They are telling me ad my email address doesn't match the name on the order they cannot help me. My order is in my name and my card was used. My address used and my email address used, this is my maiden mane and an email address can be whatever I choose. This I feel is a delay tactic.

Trip Hazards in Store - Head Office dont care We went to the Falkirk store to look at a mirror my daughter wanted, when there and looking at other things in several aisles I heard my wife shout out and found out that she had tripped over two plastic tubs that were left in the aisles, she thinks she pulled her stomach and was worried as in November she had part of her bowel out because of Bowel Cancer. This was not the only trip hazard in this store as in a couple of other aisles there were basket holders without baskets blocking the aisles and placing a trip hazard there. I have complained to the CEO and have his customer service team come back to me periodically saying they are investigating, but I really cant see they are taking this matter seriously. The CEO seems to be burying his head and never comes back to you personally of which in this situation should. The crux of this matter is that this company left trip hazards all over the place so that there customers can injure themselves, they dont care and dont take things seriously at all. I have now had a response from the Head Office stating that my wife did not trip over and lightly touched a box that was in the way, this goes to show that the CEO Mr Simpkin does not care about any customers of his at all. I will be taking this further, but they have literally said in their email that we can take it further. Absolutely disgusting company that will take your money but does not care about your health and safety while browsing their stores. I would avoid at all cost to stay safe.

Should be investigated. The first company ever. Placed an order 1 month ago. Didn't receive the item or any instructions of delivery. Have spent hours on the the phone waiting to get through. Emailed, done live chat, getting nowhere. I'm about to call my bank to ask about charge back. Shocking they are are allowed to trade like this.

I ordered a 15m garden hose online which when delivered I found was faulty. I emailed customer service about the problem. They wanted proof with pictures, I obliged. They agreed it was faulty, and they asked whether I wanted a discount, replacement or refund. I asked for a refund. All this took weeks, I asked what was happening and they said they are waiting to hear from the supplier. My legal right according to citizens advice is with the retailer. After 6 weeks with nothing being done I took it up with my bank. I showed them documented evidence of my interactions with them, and they agreed to a charge back , so I now have my money returned. I advice anyone who can not get a refund or help from the range to take it up with your bank, it can be credit or debit card. You'll find they can be very helpful.

Looked online to find product, yes in stock at local Southampton antelope park, went to store to collect, asked store assistant, yes in stock in children’s department, went to dept and nothing on shelf, apparently in warehouse not allowed to sell tick xmas, another 6 months time. Not nice. Need a rejgging of stock taking methods.

Charging £10 for Crown's tester paint pots (egyptian cottton). For a measly 40mls. £2 everywhere else. This is why their stores are mostly empty these days

I ordered table chairs and sofa from the range it came fire pit not working half cushions missing after 7 weeks of back and forth with sometimes waiting 4 hours on the phone I told them I wanted it picked up and refunded been promised they would reply 2 weeks later still waiting in meantime have ordered another set and this one is still here I am going to have to call my bank for a charge back as I'm getting nowhere don't think its staff fault its the organisation which isn't fit for purpose please dont buy as it is shocking that they can behave like this

Absolutely shocking customer service! We had the Cambridge Outdoor dining set delivered damaged. After trying to get a reply on the live chat for over 24hrs, finally got a reply - They offered me £150 store card or £75 back on the card I purchased with, to keep the damaged goods, which I refused. After a few more questions where I was trying to ascertain the best resolve - 'Kate' ended the chat. They have not responded to any further messages or emails, so I'm left with a broken set and £1500 down. I will never shop here again.

This company deserves to be shut down and investigated by the authorities immediately. It has been over a month since I placed an order with The Range, and they have completely failed to deliver the item. To make matters worse, they are now unable to execute a refund. This refund should be immediate. The item has never even been dispatched, and I have received no communication from The Range about the status of my order. It is impossible to reach them on the phone - I was forced to wait 3 hours before being cut off with no response. I have tried contacting them several times, but always with the same result. Their email communication is a complete joke. It takes days to receive a response, and all they provide is empty rhetoric. I want my money back immediately. What The Range is doing is clearly fraudulent, and I have already sought help from my bank. I will also be reporting this to Trading Standards, as this situation needs to be investigated thoroughly. I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid making any purchases from The Range UK. They are scamming their customers, and this cannot be allowed to continue.

Terrible customer service. Long wait on the phone and issue still not resolved. I asked for item to be cancelled the following morning after I’d ordered it but it was dispatched two days later and I wasn’t able to cancel with Parcelforce. Total waste of company time and money! I had to stay in to refuse it and Parcelforce returned it to the depot. I’m still waiting for a refund. Their messaging system is a nightmare. Very frustrating. Lucky to get any response and it generally takes 4 or more days. Date of experience: 20 May 2024

Placed a order on the 26th may , of a electric bbq , said it would be with me in five days , n that I would have a text or email to confirm when arriving, , now on the 9th of June , have tried to ring customer services what a joke that is get no answer even when on the line each time for over a hour ! Send emails get no response! Quick enough to take money ! Thanks but no thanks won’t be buying from u again , here is my pic of the bbq … oh that’s right it not even turned up !

Been waiting over 2 months for a refund, have been trying all week to chase this up again, get put in a phone queue and have waited up to 2.5 hrs with no response, have emailed numerous times and no response. This is the worse company I’ve ever dealt with. Think twice before purchasing from this company because if you have any issue you’ve got no chance getting it resolved. I will keep posting a review every few days until I get my refund, not that the CEO of this company gives a dam, as there are hundreds of negative reviews. Every customer having the same issue with the customer services team. Disgusting service, you should be ashamed.

Would give no stars but can’t. Called them after one and a half hours someone answered. Said they would email supplier, would hear within 4 days. No response from anyone. Tried calling many times, two hours today twice. I have now reported them to trading standards. I probably now have to go through my bank. What a dreadful company. Avoid Avoid

Bought a sofa in April for delivery 16th May, no contact from anyone for delivery, chased it up, waited 1hr 20mins on phone for customer service to reply, for them to tell me they would email the supplier and I had to wait 4 business days for response !! Have now done this 4 times !!! No communication, no sofa, it’s like they have just taken/stolen £700 !!!

Ordered a barbecue which was 3 weeks coming and aarrived with a damaged part. Have telephoned, messaged and they have not answered. Will get Pay pal onto it.

Ordered garden furniture from range £700 I PAYED it's faulty can't get hold of customer service's by phone in store can't help much as its online and I've emailed they are supposed to send parts out and haven't heard anything yet . Terrible service avoid at all cost 😒

Money taken... Order cancelled.. wait for days for someone to reply to email... Then they say we won't take payment. I prove with my bank statement that they have taken payment but now I have to contact my bank to get them to sort. Absolutely shocking online customer service. Go in store and they are fantastic but they are unable to help me as this was an online order! So frustrated.. and out of pocket!

I ordered 9 light fitting from the Range, 1 hasn't arrived and I have been on the phone 3 times (20 eaxh time) to try and find out what is going on but they don't answer the phone, once they have your money they not interested. Also would like to return some fittings but they say you have to phone to do so but they just don't answer any calls. I'm stuck with some light fitting I want to return and 1 that hasn't arrived.

I ordered a 15m hose online. It arrived promptly and was packed well. Unfortunately it leaked from the connection to spray attachment. I took it back to the store near us where a very polite man on customer service checked it for us and agreed it was faulty, but was unable to refund due it being an online marketplace order. On 17th May I contacted customer service via email, explaining the problem, that I had had it checked, that I would like a refund. I get a reply four days later, "what's the problem?" I told them the problem , 4 days later, they want proof, so I sent pictures and a video. Four days later, they agreed it was faulty, what would I like them to do? I asked for a refund. Four days later I get another reply saying they are waiting to hear from their supplier. It's now almost a month and still no refund. According to the law it's the retailer who is responsible for a faulty product and the refund not the supplier. I'm absolutely fed up with it, no other company would take so long to give a refund for what is obviously a faulty product! Date of experience: 17 May 2024
