“BUYER BEWARE: I now think this company is fraudulent and are scamming genuine customers. Ordered a webcam for work. It arrived slightly late, damaged box, but the camera itself was working fine. I realised though instantly that the webcam was not the solution I needed, so contacted TobyDeals to return. When you buy goods online you have additional rights to return them.
This is because your decision may be based on a brief description or a photograph – so what you receive isn't always quite what you’d expected.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you are allowed to return an item if you simply change your mind.
I have told them three times and they are refusing to offer a refund. Instead they are blaming the courier company. I suspect the box was damaged in the warehouse and not in transit..but the damage is incidental. The webcam worked, but it wasn't what I required. Have since found out that Toby Deals use this "trick" a lot. Plan to raise a dispute through PayPal. Also plan to report to Trading Standards. Avoid like the plague”
“I have ordered a phone which is on the deal. It is said the tracking number will be updated in 72-84 hrs once it's dispatched from the warehouse.
Today being the 14th day there is no update regarding the tracking number. Upon sending multiple emails there is no response. After reading so many bad reviews I lost my trust in them.
Thank GOD the payment is done through PayPal, will launch a dispute, and get a refund.

“I am writing a review cause I felt I had taken a gamble when ordering with Tobydeals according to all the bad reviews I had read. Well, my experience was absolutely smooth. I am very happy, got a great brand new phone 25% cheaper than Ebay. a Huawey 30P lite. I ordered, got a confirmation email. A few days later got an email with tracking number at the bottom -it took me a few days to realise the tracking number was in that email... I did not like many people, stressed out and tried to contact them cause I did not get an email fast enough, seems like on most reviews people are very impatient. It took all together 10 days between ordering and delivery of a brand new phone in sealed packaging in a regional area. From Hong Kong I'd say it is pretty good. I will definitively order again from Tobydeals and already told my friends about it. Highly recommend.”
“Order and paid for a Nokia 7.2 phone. Paid extra for priority shipping with insurance. Was not dispatched. Started sending emails to support about my order. After 6 emails and 18 days after payment,they responded and said item was out of stock. All this time they were advertising item still for sale. They said they were getting new stock in 2 days. Found out after another 7days phone ordered still was not dispatched. Then requested Cancellation of Order and a full refund. After sending 4 emails during the week requesting Cancellation and Full Refund, never received a response. Had to lodge a complaint with PayPal and after another couple of days getting no response for them, I requested a PayPal Resolution. It took only 6hrs for PayPal to tell me I am getting my full refund. Case closed.
Maybe the times we live presently with COVID-19 causing disruption. Still they should respond to one's emails in a timely manner.”

They simply don't care about giving you support. They ignore your emails and when they decide to reply, the reply is a generic one that is sent to everybody. They don't tackle your problem and they don't even care.”

So I decided to check the website, it is still listed as in stock... Managed to get a refund through PayPal dispute. Stay Away.”

Ordered an apple Series 7 iPad on June 1st.
Toby Deals sent the paperwork to DHL eCommerce electronically on June 3rd but DHL tell me that the item itself did not get to them. contacted DHL with commerce again about 11 june having allowed 8d days for shipping. about 15th June contacted PayPal resolution centre. still nothing happened 27th June cancelled order because of situation that same day Toby Deals actually electronically sent paper work and same day after I had cancelled the order. I told them via PayPal resolution centre I would return it immediately received DHL said it had landed at Heathrow 12.20 on the 4th July 5th July got message from Parcel Monitor, who ever they are got a message that the parcel arrive heathrow 06.22 got another at lunch time saying my parcel had arrived Germany.. got a Parcel Monitor email saying parcel was out for distribution 6th July. 36 days after ordering. Now I intend to send it back unopened when I get a RMA ticket from Toby Deals”

It had to be repaired and the phone technician told me it is a FAKE, not genuine and they had to find non genuine parts to try and fix it. I have contacted Toby Deals on nine occasions without any reply. SCAMMERS.

“Could not figure out why this has happened. They agreed to refund my money for a chordless vacuum cleaner. I never even opened the box and took pictures of it when I sent it back to show it was unopened. I then get a reply whey they received it to say I had opened the box and used the machine. They showed me pictures of wear and tear. I told them there is no way in hell I even opened the box. In fact, when I purchased I immediately told them that I had changed my mind the day I purchased it because of a couple of queries but they never got to me until after delivery. Do they think I am stupid that if I did use it, I would send it back in such a very obvious condition? Do not buy anything from these guys. Tricksters.”

Tobydealsau. My watch had issues so I sent it back. They won't cover the repair, because the watch has water damage. I purchased the watch because it has a Swimming function, and advertised it was water proof. Tobydeals do not seem to understand. Avoid this company!”

“Don’t use them they said item was in stock on site but it wasn’t ,I payed but didn’t get a confirmation email or tracking info, they don’t reply to your emails and when they do it’s just to say that they are still processing order .i tried to cancel but was unable to do so by raising a ticket so emailed them but they ignored me so I got credit card involved , still trying to resolve problem . They now say because the order has now been sent I will have to pay for shipping back to China where they will decide if I can have a refund . They also say that it will take 4 weeks to go back and I can only claim my £650 back for 30 days return .

“I regret buying from these guys. My product ws listed as "in stock" but not shipped after several days. I emailed and was infoirmed that they had no stock, but they didn't provide an estimated delivery date of stock. The product was then (and still is) listed as "in stock" on the site. They have a ticketing complaints sytem that doesn't work and they take several days to respond to emails. I had to lodge a PayPal dispur to get a refund. You have been warned!”
“Fraudulaent foreign company. Notice thier website has no bad reviews as they remove them all.
Ordered £320 item which never arrived. Chased them after a week and they blamed supplier problems. Then said item was due in a few days. Chased them a week later and they stopped answering my many emails.
I was foolishly tricked by 'UK' in the website name. Will now be contacting Paypal & my Cedit Card company about the fraud to try to get my money back before Christmas.”
