I wish I'd checked out reviews before ordering from them. I ordered a Google Chromecast Ultra. This is a UK website, and paid in GBP. What was ordered was a US model with an adapter (which is, in fact, illegal to sell in the UK under the Plugs and Sockets Safety Regulations 1994). Their attitude is to raise an RMA, and make you pay for postage to Hong Kong and a potential £50 restocking fee! I refuse to do so and will raise the case with PayPal and (should they fail) my credit card company - I would advise anyone already having fallen foul of TobyDeals to do the same. Update: PayPal refused my claim but American Express allowed it - I suspect partly because I sent them pictures of the warranty statement which stated it only covered US purchase. I would strongly advise anyone who has fallen foul of TobyDeals' illegal sale of non-UK socketed equipment to raise a case with their credit card company, with pictures showing any warranty rendered not applicable and writing the Sale of Goods Act and the Plugs and Sockets Safety Regulations 1994.

The TOBYDEAS.CO.UK web site suggests the company is a UK company and the item are delivered from the UK. It does not state the products are imported from Hong Kong / China. The product has a US style plug. The manufacturers warranty is not applicable in the UK (I telephoned then to register). The product does not have a CE mark so should not be sold in the UK. Delivery time was very long. Standard shipping back to China is not allowed due to the batteries built into the product. Very poor communications

This is not a UK company even though it has a .uk web address, it does state in terms conditions that goods may come from overseas, I didn't notice until I had ordered. Goods arrived in just over a week. But I had to pay custom duties which they stated they would refund but so far (3weeks and 4 emails) they haven't done. They fail to respond to emails once they have you money. Be aware they are a Chinese company with poor customer service.

Decided I would take the risk and buy a Mavic Air drone from tobydeals. Took them 10 days to change my order from processing to packing, then another 4 days later it is shown as 'completed' - but I haven't received any item and the tracking number doesn't work. If all comes good I will update this, but as it currently stands - this is a very shady company! Beware of the 5 star reviews, as pointed out by others - the 5 star reviews are most likely Toby boy himself.

Ordered a vacuum and it came with a US plug and adaptor to EU power. Tried to return / resolve and has now been over a month of TobyDeals finding more and more ways to avoid taking the goods back (unless sent to Hong Kong at a cost of £50+, plus admin fee of £20) or help make it work. Essentially, only buy from here if you are 100% sure you won't need to return the product because they won't let you

This has to be a scam! https://www.tobydealsau.com/en_US/product/motorola-moto-g7-power-xt1955-4gb-64gb-dual-sim-sim-free-unlocked-black.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiAtvPjBRDPARIsAJfZz0rAARKgjxcF47NxJSaou6Dhf46nuUjJk0Zllp0SfrhEuVdnPldgLPwaAlEREALw_wcB As of today, March 3, 2019, Motorola isn't even selling the above phone. When it becomes available (later this month), the Power model will only have 3gb RAM and 32gb storage.

Back in 13/01/19, I have ordered Huawei P20 lite Dual Sim 4GB/64GB SIM FREE/ UNLOCKED - Black, from Tobydeals.co.uk. They arrived a few days later than what they promised but that's not an issue. After receiving the product, I have realised that it seems so slow and applications are crashing. This shouldn't happen to a brand new phone at all. So I have contacted them by email as there is no phone number (total scam). They told me to create a case (RMA Case Support - ****1025) and gave me a web link and said you also need to create a video and upload it in Dropbox and attached it to the case. I have done all of that and then they told me to return the item with all the accessories and I had to pay for postage. After a week later, they have received the product and confirmed it was faulty. (So this confirms they sent me a faulty product, total scam). After they have confirmed this, I have requested full refund including postal expenses I had to pay. But they advised that they're only able to refund the product amount and confirmed it will take 5 to 7 working days. It has been more than 10 working days now and still no refund. So I have contacted them again and they said you will receive your refund shortly and I am still waiting. Just wondering how much time is shortly for them. THIS IS A HONG KONG BASED COMPANY AND THEY SELL USED REFURBISHED PHONE AND ADVERTISE AS BRAND NEW. THERE WAS ANOTHER COMPANY LIKE THIS PREVIOUSLY CALLED SIMPLY ELECTRONICS WHICH WENT BUST. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

VERY POOR COSTUMER SERVICE!! They should make it very clear they're based in Hong Kong and not the UK. Had I known that, I wouldn't have used them... Purchased a Canon camera, and within 2 hours received an email stating the item had been dispatched. Their quickest communication throughout the whole process, and a clear lie to lock you in. I tried cancelling the order less than 20 hours after ordering, and was told it was not possible, as it had already been dispatched... Email stating said Dispatch only arrived 5(!) days after, and actual item delivered in the UK 6 days after that (11 days after order being placed). Yet they claim it had been dispatched less than 24 hours after the order being placed, with no possible way to cancel the order, or contact the courier to cancel the dispatch... Once the item was received, I immediately started a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to return the item as soon as possible, and it took them 7 days (!!!) to "review" the case, and only then authorised the return. Posted the item back to Hong Kong the same day the RMA was "authorised". Post Office tells me posting items with Li-ion batteries (such as the camera they sold me!) is forbidden... proceed to lie to post office lady, otherwise couldn't even return the camera... at the cost of £22.20. 5 days later item is delivered to TobyDeals. They actually acknowledge receiving the item that same day, but need to inspect it (sealed item, wasn't even opened). 8 days (!!!) later, item is finally inspected, and they agree to refund (minus £20 admin fee). 38 days after the initial order (which should have been cancelled before even being posted), TobyDeals finally issued a refund. Completely unacceptable, and will never use again!

Do not do it to yourself. Over the last year I have spent over £3000 with tobydeals. All items arrived, eventually....as described. Then the biggy. I bought items totalling £1500 in one order. Order was placed 31/01/2019. It is now 28/02/2019 and my items have not been delivered. They were all listed ‘in stock’, I have made numerous enquiries, which they have ignored and the order is now listed as ‘complete’ in my account. IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE IN THE COMPANY HAS JUST DISAPPEARED WITH MY NOT INCONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF CASH. AND THEY COULDNT CARE LESS. STEER CLEAR. ITS NOT WORTH THE LITTLE SAVING WHEN YOU CONSIDER YOU ARE LOSING YOUR UK WARRANTY RIGHTS AND THERE A VERY GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY

I ordered a honor 9 lite phone it took 3 weeks to get here and it’s nots for the uk market it’s all in Chinese, I can text and call but nothing else I set it to English but Chinese keeps coming up so I rang honor helpline and I was told that the phone is for the Chinese market so I contacted tobydealsuk and they said send it back and they will deduct £20 for admin, well it cost me £15.50 to send it back but I didn’t realise that you can’t post anything with a battery in it so the courier dpd are charging me another £20 to send it back to me, and now 14 days is up tobydealsuk (which is in Hong Kong so why the hell do they put uk on the end of their name ) will not refund as there policy is return within 2 weeks of delivery please no one touch this scamming company

I brought a DJI ronin S and it never ever arrived. The company took the money and have not replied to emails I have sent to them, basically just ignoring me. Luckily Natwest looked into this and told me the site is well known for there scams. Luckily mr order was on credit card so I did receive a refund, eventually. Buyers beware.
