Tobyteam avoid my questions directly & keep asking if I'd like to revert my purchase.
Chased up everyday till 3rd of October, they replied me with clearly a response template, avoiding my question the stock & keep asking if I'd like to revert my purchase instead.
From 17th September till 3rd October 2019, no tracking number, no confirmation on shipping, keep delaying with excuse like re-stocking. keep asking you to get a refund, ALL ABOVE HAPPENS WHILE THEIR WEBTSITE SHOWING THIS IS "IN-STOCK" Don't bother ordering from here, it's a scam.”
“Bought a Robot Vacuum Cleaner and there was no news for a month. Contacted them and was told that there was no stock. I asked for a refund immediately. Would have kept my money had I not contacted them for an update. Will not buy from them again!”

A horrid company. I mistakenly thought they were a UK company only finding out when I returned my items because they were not as I had hoped (boxes looked tampered with) that they are based in Hong Kong. Had to pay a hefty tracking postage fee and when asked for my refund as per their returns policy within 14 days they have claimed (outright lie) items are missing and will refund only 45%. Will speak to my bank to claim refund. Disgusted and will never use them again.”
“I purchased a phone on Toby Deals, based on the reviews of this site. It has been 5 weeks and I haven't received the phone. Toby Deals customer service has been non existent.. They refer to Toll (freight service) and that's a whole different review, as they are useless! I have repeatedly asked for a refund. They have not responded. I buy a lot online and this is one of the worst experiences I've had to date. I would not be purchasing from Toby Deals again, they are shonky!!”

“A Time Waster!
Had ordered gimbal for around £2-300 and waited for 3 working days without any updates. After had emailed to them and got back that the stock was dead so had to cancel. (But they still put the product on their website just adjust the price a bit more)
So, I am not sure because of stock or price error issue but you should let me know ASAP!!!

I will expand below for anyone who is interested but briefly:
a) I ordered a phone.
b) It arrived corrupted and wouldn't even start
c) Toby Deals said i had voided my warranty (with them) as i had downloaded an unlocked bootloader. I have NO idea what one of these is but as the phone wouldn't even start up this obviously was not possible.
d) Xiaomi said as my phone had been imported from Hong Kong they were not liable for any warranty.
e) I didn't know i was ordering from Hong Kong.
f) I've just thrown my hard earned money away.
g) you have been warned!
In more detail for anyone interested......
Ordered Xiaomi phone and when it arrived i started it up and it came up with an error saying the operating system was corrupted. I followed instructions that pointed me to call xiaomi support directly. They talked me through a hard reset of the phone which didn't work. They told me as my phone was imported from Hong Kong it was not covered under their warranty and i should contact my supplier - Toby Deals.
I emailed them as was told to report it to their support which i did. This was their reply
"With regard to your issue, it might be caused by unlocked Bootloader. Please note that no Warranty could be covered and Warranty will be voided at the same time if Bootloader has been unlocked.

I replied saying i had not downloaded anything to the phone as it was corrupted when i turned it on. I had only done what Xiaomi support had talked me through which was a reset.
They again replied:
"If you insist, you may return it to us for checking. However, if we found Bootloader has been unlocked/ rooted/ flashed/ not covered by Warranty, we could arrange return it AS IS at your cost GBP 30 only. Please reply within your 14 days DOA period if you would like to do so and thanks for your help!"
I have been ripped off. Do not buy from Toby Deals - all their goods are imported and you have literally no warranty if anything goes wrong.
I have bought from them before and had no problems with my phone - but that's because i had no problems with it! As soon as you do you are shafted.”

“I have a very stressful situation with customer service. I bought the JBL speaker and it came with audio problem. The first time I used the speaker, the audio was creaking like static noise as I turn it to full volume.
I contacted customer service and began my stressful situation. They said I should pay to return it, but before they send me to try to "fix" it myself by watching a youtube video. Of course it didn't work. After that we started chatting sending and replying messages and I was fed up with this situation and said: "this device doesn't work properly and I don't want to replace it, I want to send it back and get my money back.
I believe they did it to get time and the 14 days that I have to give it back and get my money back is gone.
So, to resolve this, I sent the speaker back to the sender at my own expense. Now they get in touch with me and say that the speaker has been verified by "technician" and is working perfectly. It's funny because you don't have to be an engineer to see the problem, anyone can hear the audio and detect the problem. "Problem that the sound is unclear and has a wheezing. Also this is a JBL speaker and should be under warranty
So up to now they have not resolved and I do not have the device and do not have my money back.
Be aware about this company, because if you have any problems with your product, they will try to trick you and they will not resolve your problem.”
“Extremely poor and even rude treatment. I bought a Samsung Galaxy phone which due to technical problems, broke itself in about 6 months. This is strange and I obviously expected Tobydeals to fix the phone or, if this was not possible, send me a new one. I sent the phone over to them, I had to pay a £10 delivery. Two months later they returned it, advising that it was finally fixed. Two months, and after all the time waiting it didn't work at all! I took it to two or three mobile repair shops to see if they could find the problem. They all looked at it for a few minutes and saw that the motherboard was damaged, which means that it cannot be repaired. I let Tobydeals know that some third parties advised that it couldn't be repaired, and the cheeky Customer Service guy just said that, since it had been checked by a third company, they wouldn't do anything about it, not fixing the phone and obviously not giving me another one, as the warranty stated. After sending dozens of emails, sending the phone over to them and waiting for months, they finally got away with it.”
“Will never shop from Toby Deals again. I ordered a phone, a week later it was still "processing" , they then told me they didn't have the phone in stock and in the end after a week of emails, I ended up getting a refund. Total waste of time and energy. If they didn't have the phone in stock they shouldn't have advertised it and let someone "purchase"it. Half the time no one from the customer service team got back to me to answer any questions so I had no idea what was going on. I regret ever having tried to buy anything from them.”

“I bought a Samsung phone from them. Took over 2 weeks to arrive and had a faulty camera. Took it to Samsung on Oxford street. they said it was not covered under UK warranty plus the phone showed signs of water damage and had a non-original rear cover. In their opinion it was a refurb. Guess what. These muppets dont care. I spent 2 weeks going rouind in circles with RMA department who refused to acknowledge the phone was faulty on arrival. I am now stuck with a faulty phone and a bitter taste in my mouth. AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

“Ordered Senheiser wireless in ear speakers at £219.99 on 25th April 2019. Following day received confirmation of dispatch and a tracking number with Yodel. Waited a week then checked yodel tracking. Status 'awaiting parcel from supplier. Another week, same so chased Toby Deals. They replied shipped to delivery firm on 26th April. 11th May I checked again with Yodel. Nothing received, very sorry but we are only the couriers. Chased Toby again. Not us we've shipped it! 18th May complained to Paypal. Opened an investigation. Paypal refunded the full amount on 29th June. Thank you Paypal, you really ought to ditch Toby Deals, Total dissatisfaction, saved by Paypal.”
