“The color choices listed didn't even come close to matching the paint color of my car. When I compared the color listed it was a perfect match but when I received the paint, it was way darker that what was shown.”

“I bought a higher end kit with various sandpapers, prep cloth, primer, color coat and clear coat as well as a few other odds and ends. On the upside, all of the materials where there to do a good job. On the downside, the color match was not good (I did use the color code from the original window sticker off the vehicle when it was new). I used the test card and it looked good there, but when I put paint to fender, it was/is too dark. It was close until I put the clear coat on and it seemed to darken a bit more. I am considering redoing it with the same kit to see if I can either get a better match or decrease the size of the painted area - to the bare minimum. In addition, a brief printed instruction sheet in the kit would have been a nice add so that I didn't have to go back on line to look for instructions. On that same subject, something more substantial for instructions on line would be nice too. (tips for success on sanding, applying each layer, and even using the polishing product).”

“I used this on my car for a small chip in the paint, the outcome was not desirable. Applying the paint with the pen was more painful than anticipated (Mentally), I followed the directions and wasn't very happy with the results. I probably won't look to purchase again .”

“This is the third time I've tried a touch up paint for my 2013 Charger RT, 2 from other places and it still does not match. The metalic is much finer and it's kinda on the purple side . It does say billet silver metallic but still doesn't match . This isn't touch up directs fault. I guess that's just how it goes with this paint job. I'll have a body shop match it up .”

“I was patching a small hole smaller than a dime. I went to look and find what product would be best. The pen was advertised for spots the size of a pencil eraser. So I went with the .34 oz bottles. I purchased the primer, color, and clear coat set. The color was very close to that of my car (just slightly darker). However, the application of the paint is with a nail polish brush. This resulted in my application having tons of bumps and ridges. I sanded in between coats and then the final coat. After a lot of work it was very smooth (one or two very tiny air bubble spots). The next issue came when I applied the clear coat. Using the brush for clear coat then smeared the (dried for over 1 hour) base color coat. So the ridges I worked so hard to smooth out we’re right back. I was very disappointed with how this turned out. After working on this, not even, dime size spot for many hours, I am finally giving up. I would suggest others to not use the brush and try either the pen or the spray can.”
