“Relatively easy to look through different tour options. Basic itinerary, pricing and dates were available. This helped a lot with my descision to book my hike/kayak trip. The downside was after I'd booked - The sheer number of emails was ridiculous. The information could have been succinctly told in just one instead of 12. The other downside was once I'd completed my transaction the information about my trip changed from anyone could participate to experienced needed. This is pertinent information when dealing with a multi day hike.”

“I’ve been using TR for number of years and I sorry to say There is significant lack of transparency. Tours are a big investment and if I buy something at certain price I expect it to be honoured. In addition I have selected share occupancy and now (after I booked all flights and acccommodation) got email saying I need to pay hefty single supplement. This is second time it happend, last time I was asked to pay it and first time It was mentioned was at the first day of tour as operator was “advised” by TR that they can just charge me! Fortunately they also thought it was dishonest so they didn’t. Other issue that happens is some charges are not made obvious, I called operator directly as was surprised that there is additional 600 USD to pay in addition to what is on TR. because I have limited budget I feel I have to double check which defies objective of TR. I can’t hide that I am quite disappointed 😔 and it would not surprise me if this feedback is not published. As per above review i was very pleased that TR has taken my issues seriously. Very soon I received the phone call from Austria apologising and reassuring me that they will work to resolve problems I stated. I thought Gaelle was very friendly and professional. I also received message from the tour operator that there wont be any charge for single supplement. I was also told that they now have put some protection on the website to resolve the lack of clarity about additional payments, but I have not tested it yet. Overall I was very pleased how it was death with and TR will remain my go to when planning my adventures and would recommend it to any traveller for inspiration.”

This will primarily involve us contacting the operators we are partnered with who need to correct their single supplement policy on our site and also working to implement further safeguards from this happening in the future, which are already in motion. We understand that as a solo traveller, it's disappointing to learn that you're not able to share your room with another traveller to save some money. “Everything is fine except for one thing. The price for my 15-day UK trip is $1872 as advertised, but I was charged at $2200 as so-called brochure price. I do not understand it. I booked anyway.”

“There were several choices of trips to a destination in which I was interested. The details of each were easy to download and I was able to compare the offerings and select the tour that best suited my requirements. Booking was simple and Tour Radar liaise between myself and the travel company, making the whole process easy.”

“Comprehensive listing of tours for every country in the world, this makes it an easy place to compare what is on offer. Lost a star as prices seem to vary from day to day under the same so called offers, would rather a set price. Booking was easy and straight forward to do. Hope my Tour will be as good.”
