“It is confusing that both the Tour operator and TourRadar advertize the specific tour. What is the role of either?”

TourRadar mainly serves as a booking agent and marketplace for multi-day tours. We work with over 1000 tour operators and do not operate the tours ourselves. “I did not use the website but phoned as I had a question I wanted the answer before booking. I phoned 3 times on 4/5 to your 0800 number and had no pick up each time which was annoying as your answer phone stated there was a 24/7 365 days a year answer service availiable I phoned again on 5/5 and did receive a quick answer and a very helpful service which enabled me to provisionally book a trip. I had to wait till 7/5 to comfirm with my employer I could took the required dates. Having agreed this I again phoned the 0800 number to confirm ny booking and pay the deposite. Again no answer so as I was receiving e-mails stating my 48 hrs time limit for confirming my trip was running out I decided to use your 0043 (Canada) number which would be costly. Again I got through immediatly and the service was excellent but I was diappointed that this did not occur everytime and ended with me having to use a none free phone number. I was very close on 4/5 to give up trying to contact your company and use another one. regards”

“After some initial confusion, the miscommunication between TourRadar, me and Utracks was resolved and resulted in our booking the cycling Normandy tour. Cudos to Natasha & Kate @ TourRadar for clear communication and reassurance; also thanks to Majeh @ Utracks for going beyond and snagging difficult to find accommodation which enabled our tour to go ahead. Majeh followed up with personal touch and gave us the confidence that we had made the right decision to go ahead”

“I was pleased to have found a trip that suited me on the website. Booking was easy and TourRadar were quick to realise that the operator had not responded to my booking and they chased it up efficiently. However, I don't think it was made clear enough that I shouldn't have booked my flights until the trip had been confirmed by the other operator, or that the tour would not go ahead without a minimum number of participants.”

Sorry to hear that you felt it wasn’t made clear prior to confirmation that you shouldn’t book your flights. This is stated in your booking page when we first receive your booking request. In addition, the minimum number of travellers needed for a tour to run is set by the tour operator. They seem to have brought this to your attention prior to confirming your booking. “Was quick and easy to navigate. Only gripe is that the itinerary as shown by the company Europamundo - was changed a few times withoutvprior intimation and the fact that we would be clubbed with a Spanish /Mexican group was also not mentioned thus incomplete information can be alleged to have been imparted. Just makes me wary of using your radar as there is incomplete details / information about the actual trip”

“The first tour date I had chosen ended up being unavailable even though the site indicated spaces still available. The second date offered luckily worked out for us. I suggest the site indicating the tours and spaces available be scrutinized more often and updated. It would have been VERY DISAPPOINTING if the alternate date offered had not worked out for us. The site is easy to work with and when using the chat option, the operators were extremely helpful. Looking forward to our trip !”

“There weren't very many operators providing guided tours for a short vacation in Cuba. TourRadar itinerary was tailor-made for what I was looking for. It was easy to book.”
