TourRadar was referred to by a relative. Very easy to navigate their website. Complete and detailed information regarding the tour I chose. Actually trying to get 6 others to join the four of us that are already signed up.

Booking was very easy, site is user friendly. What was weird was that at any time upon clicking on the availability of a particular tour, the available place is never changing. Even after my booking it showed that the there was still 10 places available. Secondly web says 18 to 70 years old were using your facility but I was sent a email to say mostly the trip was popular among youths. I felt I was misled. Since I was depending on this trip I did not look out for another. Hopefully it will not be too noisy and boisterous group, especially a good night sleep is important.

Hello Apamah, Thank you for your feedback, you’ve booked a wonderful tour! We can see on the tour you booked, that the availability is still 10+ meaning there are more than 10 places still available in the tour group (which has a maximum of 50 for your specific tour). That’s perhaps why you didn’t see the availability change after booking. Some of the other dates for your tour are showing less than 10 where the number of remaining places is more specific. The tour you have booked is indeed, open to travellers between 18 and 70 years old, which means you’ll be travelling with a broad range of travellers. It’s perhaps popular for youth travellers as the accommodation, as shown on the tour page is in multi-share dorm rooms and the price is very affordable! Having said that, we have many positive tour reviews for this tour from past travellers who would not consider themselves in the youth traveller category! The customer service representatives from TourRadar have always been very polite and courteous. The one piece of negative feedback is that I saw a tour on the site that was advertised at a price, and within 6hrs this price had increased by £179. When I queried it, they had denied the fact that there was a price increase even though I had evidence provided to them via a screenshot and the brochure download, however Bamba Experience were adamant the price had not been altered. In this case, given that evidence was provided I would have at the very minimum expected the error to be acknowledged and notified that price changes can occur at any time, but this was not done and became a bit confrontational. I would normally would have expected for this price to be honoured given the evidence provided. Once the communications were moved away from the tour operator and back to TourRadar the experience was a lot more friendly and they had offered a discretionary discount which was appreciated, especially given I am a returning customer.

Awsome place to find a tour. Clear info and easy to search, as well as a great variety. I did a must a kg booking my tour, and costumer service was outstanding!! Everything was solved so fast, and easily. Very grateful. Definitely will recommend to everyone, and I will keep using them one my travels. 10 out of 10! :)

Mark Marignac is a marvellous Tour Director. Well planned and great story teller. The overall experienced was great where I have some 'me time' some days to relax and chill. Smal and friendly group. Love it!

Recently needed to quickly find a replacement tour in south africa and within 20 mins of looking on the website I was able to find a tour and have it booked. Very easy to use and quick response times to questions etc.

I booked a trip and was immediately sent a random set of letters as a password but no instructions for how to manage or change this. Later I was sent another link to set up access to an account. The password from before bears no relevance. I already have 108 active passwords for all sorts of stuff I use once in a blue moon and faced with setting up yet another one I simply stopped my interaction with Tourradar and closed down. I might try to access my own information at some later point but I do not understand why everything has to be so difficult to access by the consumer.

HORRIBLE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT TAKE THEIR ADVICE AND BOOK THE TOUR BEFORE A FLIGHT BECAUSE IT IS A SCHEME SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU TO CHANGE YOUR BOOKING IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE FINDING YOUR FLIGHT DATES TO MATCH THE TOUR. BEEN WAITING 2 DAYS FOR A RESPONSE ON WAIVING THE FEE BUT BEFORE I BOOKED IT THEY WERE REPLYING VERY QUICK. FEELING VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND CONSIDERING CANCELLING MY TOUR NOW!!!

Hello Kevin, We're sorry to hear you feel you've been misled. You're absolutely correct that we recommend travellers wait to receive their tour booking confirmation and their tour is guaranteed to depart, before booking flights. The reason for this is, once you've booked your flights, there is no guarantee the specific tour departure you intend to book, will still be available. You also need to make sure the tour operator of the tour you're booking has guaranteed your tour to depart. If you book your flights before this, you may find yourself needing to change your flights, which often incurs a significant cost.
