I canceled my order one minute before Subway got my order, and Uber Eats took my $60.24. They said they would give me a refund. I got a message about getting a refund and still haven't gotten it. They said no refund because the merchant was already making the food; that was a lie because I was in line when I canceled. They told me they hadn't started on my order because they had two big orders in front of me.

This is the first and last time I use Uber eats. I got a notification that the restaurant cancelled my order because apparently a driver picked it up, but never delivered it. I have called and complained. it took forever to find that phone number. I suggest you take a screenshot of every driver that is assigned to your order so you can keep record. I believe that if you’re going to steal, no matter what it is, you should be fired on the spot. And the Uber Eats driver should be shamed publicly. It’s unacceptable to have no morals. The restaurant says it happens all the time. This would not happen if it was managed properly.

Coming from an Uber eats deliver it is very hard to get a hold of customer service when you have a problem with an order they want you to talk on the chat, but the chat is not helpful. Uber eats you can do better

Food took much longer than expected. Messaged driver as to how close....no response. Don't think I'll be using Uber eats again

I am a member with Instacart. I placed an order today 5/16/25 @1:00 pm I have been chatting with someone (?) regarding this order from the Brick House in KCMo. There reply was they can't do anything after 48 hrs. The meal was delivered today at approx. 3:30 pm. I notified them shorty there after. I fully intend to cancel my membership. There are many delivery services here in the Kansas City area. And will no longer recommend them.

I placed an order and seconds later realized I had used the wrong credit card. I cancelled the order and was going to reorder with the right card. I was charged a cancellation fee for about 50% of the cost of the order. I contacted customer service who stated the restaurant had already excepted the order so they have to charge a cancellation fee. I asked them to just reinstate the order then. But I was told they cannot to that because it was cancelled on the app. They were completely useless and just kept repeating the same policy. We have to charge a cancellation fee if the restaurant excepts the order. But they are too stupid to just reinstate the order. I will never order Uber eats again.

Scammers. Charging you for cancelling because you should have called them first to cancel despite an order taking 2 hours past the allocated window lol. Disgusting customer service, had a supervisor even hang up on me.

Absolutely horribe. You can tell they barely fund their customer service. They only fund ads. They only care about taking your money and there is no regard for food safety or quality service. Driver did not deliver food and even stated in the messages. Customer service was not helpful and it was very difficult to cancel the order without a fee, minus any regard for the awful service. Happened multiple times and even to friends.

Driver delivered food to wrong address even after talking to me and never verified pin, I want my money refunded and my tip refunded. Very unprofessional, out my money and my dinner. Refund me now not in 7 days. Driver very unprofessional, I'll never use insta cart or Uber eats again.

Several occasions items have not been delivered with no refund, just a genuinely diabolical company taking advantage of those that do not have access to shopping themselves (Disabled mainly) avoid at all costs - for your sanity's sake.

My wife and I just ordered entrees from a Mexican restaurant and they only delivered a greasy bag of chips and one very small cup of watery salsa. To their credit, they refunded our money, but we can now only use that money towards another attempt at this dreadful service. We're going to attempt to put this money towards a Burger King order, and I expect nothing more than a bag of napkins and possibly a half rotten tomato slice. Never again.

They said they delivered it but we never received it. They said that they won’t give me a refund. Never again will I ever order from uber eats.

My wife ordered jersey Mikes today for lunch. The order was short a sandwich. Called Jersey Mikes and they said we had to deal with uber eats. There only solution was a refund. So one person doesn’t get to eat lunch. We will never use this app again!

This is the worst experience I’ve had. I placed an order and the entree I wanted ended up being unavailable. I had 10 minutes to decide if I wanted to cancel it or add a different item. There was still 6 minutes left, I didn’t want anything else from The restaurant so I went back hoping for my option to cancel was still there and it wasn’t. It was gone. I do not believe it is fair when I still had 6 minutes to decide. The only thing left was a brownie and sprite but I still got charged a cancellation fee of 8.10$. I called support, they said they couldn’t give me a refund and hopes that I understand. I politely said I don’t and would like to Speak with someone else. He said that a supervisor would tell me the same thing and I said that was fine I still would like to speak with them. I was not rude, I was not cursing. He told me that my issue was resolved and that he will have to hang up on me and he sure did. Not sure where this guy is from. But his name is Walter. No help what’s so ever. Worst customer service ever.

Food Poisoning – No Action Taken by Uber Eats I got food poisoning from an order placed through Uber Eats. I reported it and asked for an investigation, but all I received was a request to rate the restaurant. No refund, no follow-up, and the case was closed without any action. Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer care.

There should be a zero star rating option. Took two payments off my account a month ago when I placed an order. Up until now they still won't provide me with proof stating if it's an authorization hold. Still waiting for my money. Very disappointed as they don't have a customer service line and they still haven't gotten back to me on the uber eats app. Disgusted by this service. Highly DO NOT recommend!
