“used in El Salvador and Costa Rica. Placed order for grocery items to be delivered. Grocer did not have the items I wanted or a replacement . I was billed even though I cancelled within minutes . Didn’t know this was there policy so buyer beware ! Sadly cannot reach Uber support so basically paid and got nothing !!!”

“Ordered take out pizza through uber eats, pizza bill was $22.29, uber eats charged me $42.87! Sick to my stomach, am disputing with cc, will remove app, and tell everyone I can what a low life company uber eats is!”

“Can't even give no stars. 4 orders in a row have been wrong and now because I've had to make a complaint AGAIN, I'm in the wrong and displaying "certain behaviours" so I can't get a refund for my item in the order. I get it's not them actually packing the food but to say I'm displaying behaviours, when all I'm doing is raising attention to the fact that my items are wrong, missing or literally damaging my home when the items are delivered with the lids off and spilt everywhere. Waste of money and won't be ordering again.”

“Uber eats is way too expensive tried to order a simple 11.99 pizza the other night and the total ended up being almost 30 dollars after tip taxes uber fee this fee that fee. Will never use uber eats again?”

“I placed an order months ago that I was charged twice for (once through PayPal and once through my debit card) it took a weeks to get a refund. I placed an order today after swearing I’d never use the app and got charged AGAIN for the order I had to fight to get a refund for because I was charged twice!!! Never again!!”

“I placed an order, received someone else order. I have the other persons receipt to show the mistake and they still will not give me a refund. I contacted HELP at least 20 times and I got the same response not eligible for refund. I replied to an email they sent me and received a response I sent it from the wrong email. This is insanity. I spent about 2 hours of my life I will never get back. Needless to say I'm done with UBER EATS. Never got refund so I will be disputing the charge with my bank now.”

“I placed an order and immediately canceled it within seconds. I called the restaurant and they verified the order was just coming through and it was also immediately canceled. Uber Eats is refusing to refund the amount, even though the restaurant assured it wasn't a problem. This is unethical practice and I've never had an issue with any other company before. Shame on them!”

“They had the wrong address. I called the restaurant to change it and I couldn’t do that. I have vertigo that comes in when I’m stressed and just escaped an abusive relationship in NY. To thank my brother and mother and father for helping me out I ordered food. Did the cancellation like the restaurant requested. I had to order from seamless from another restaurant and was charged $100 for food I never got from uber eats.”

“Every time I’ve ordered from Uber eats, something has gone wrong. Today, it took over an hour for my driver to get to my house, and then the food was never delivered. I then had to go through the worst customer service experience ever, where I told them about my problem, stating how the delivery driver never took a photo to prove he delivered it and how I have doorbell camera footage proving he never showed up. They still denied doing anything to help me or offering any refund. They’ve wasted 2 hours of my life so far and I’m still hungry. Worst delivery app ever, use skip the dishes”

“Terrible experience. I ordered uber eats and they delivered it to the wrong house. I called customer support and explained the situation to them and they refused to refund me. I told them to check any of the other confirmation pictures at my address and they would see a different door. They told me it was somehow my fault their driver delivered to an incorrect location. I asked to speak to a manager and the rep would not put me through. Uber and Uber eats was my primary services for ride sharing/food delivery but I will be going elsewhere moving forward.”

“Worst customer service they won't own up to their mistakes, the representative was condescending insulted me what he called me. Refused to let me talk to a supervisor he pretended to put me on hold and disconnected me. Waited an hour my dinner never came and waiting on the refund.”

“I placed the order and tried to cancel it within 30 seconds because I was gonna order something else with my order and the restaurant Hong Kong kitchen accepted the order so now they’re saying they won’t make the food and I cannot get a refund or cannot even get the food. So now what are my kids gonna eat things? Uber eats for nothing I called customer service and they said there’s nothing they can do.”

“We ordered two sandwiches through Uber eats for Arby’s a driver to deliver a sealed bag and it was missing a sandwich that was on the receipt that we paid in full 4+ tip. We called the manager at Arby’s and Arby said you had to go to Uber eats for a refund we went to Uber eats and they paid three or four dollars less than what we paid them for the sandwich. There’s no customer service 800 number or anything like that no talking to a live person very cryptic really bad company.”
